Question – They keep saying that transgender people have been using the restroom with us all along. SO Why then do they all of a sudden need a law? This law is to do nothing but pit people against one another. It’s what these leftist bozos do. They try and cover themselves with a tiny blanket of tolerance, trying to hide the fact that they are the most intolerant people on the planet.
The law is coming from the right genius, trying to force people to go to the bathroom that matches their birth gender. Target and other places are merely clarifying what has been normal policy forever.
The objective here is to force the normalization and acceptance of trans-gender delusions.
Because of these actions Target may have to put attendants in ladies rooms across the country. Male attendants, in skirts!
Jackie Treehorn, the law from the right, as you say (I am guessing you mean in NC?) was a reaction to Charlotte NC passing a law (sponsored by a convicted pedophile who used his position in a church no less) which allowed gender to be "fluid" and anyone could use any restroom or shower they choose. (1) Gender is not fluid, (2) No one had an issue with people that get there equipment changed, (3) The best real estimate of trans-gendered is <0.2%....where as women who have been raped make up 2.0% of the population. Therefore, you are 100x more likely to encounter a rape victim! How do you think a rape victim would handle some Bubba hopping in the shower at the YMCA because he identified as a she that day? Please people, get a grip.
Why do they need a law? Because they want to shove it down our throats and laugh about it, that's why.
You are right. This is a complete political ploy. Whenever has there ever been an arrest of a transgender person in the "wrong" bathroom. What this is about is political power to attack normal people who have NOT done anything against anyone. Once they get their laws passed then the fun starts when every type of jerk makes it their business to enter women's bathrooms to harass, ogle, pass remarks and do who knows what. This is a direct attack on women using the non-issue of transgender prohibition. Will the transgendered women have to carry an id card? If not then ANYONE can claim to be anyone they choose while doing what they want.
Except for the Leftists' comment by JackieTreehorn, everyone's comments are spot on. Nice to know that there are still sensible, sane Americans in our country.
Yes but that so called "tolerance" only goes one way. To and for the Trans, gays AND perverts. The latter of whom will use this for even worse purposes. Why not provide a third bathroom for that "third gender"? Well because when you offer that they still whine that it is singling them out for discrimination. Well THEY are the ones putting themselves in a position to be singled out. LIVE WITH IT AND STOP MAKING THE VAST MAJORITY OF WOMEN UNCOMFORTABLE! It isn't all about just YOU.
The only thing that the city of Charlotte did was add marital and familial status, sexual orientation, gender expression and gender identity to the list of protected characteristics in the existing Non-Discrimination Ordinances. That's it. None of these changes pertained to private business which are not open to the public. And everyone lost their heads. It didn't pit people against each other. The state legislature did that. For years, people who looked like women used the women's room, and people who looked like men used the men's room. No one was the wiser and no transgender actually attacked anyone in the public bathrooms. More to the point, no public displays of genitalia ensued to scare women and children because the average public women's room has stalls. So unless someone was in there trying to tape another person using the bathroom, or was standing up to piss and you saw their feet pointing to the wall and not the stall door, no one knew anything about the other users. But people have it in their heads that this means a) a man who looks like a man can't be stopped for going into the women's room or b) predators are going to pretend to be trans just to go in and hurt someone. HB2 doesn't stop either of those situations, no matter how much people want it to. Predators will still be predators and men can still be questioned for going into the women's room if they look like a man. Trans isn't a day to day feeling, it's how they live their lives, period.
JT is just making excuses and enabling predators by opposing HB2. I don't care about the delusions of the trannies.

Letting a weaker opponent feel like he’s capable of winning is a brilliant strategy – Some call it “rope a dope”. Now Cruz and his fanboys are flailing away throwing punches that aren’t landing. The latest being his VP pick. Cruz has basically knocked himself out.
Going off topic is barely a media matters mode. Cruz ain't the second coming, but he isn't forwarding the D platform either. Boehner shouldn't be a clue; or Reid, Pelosi, McDonnell. Take a nap and dream of Madame President for your don.
If the "stronger" (iyo) candidate is an o version whom are the Losers?

5775lindy – the problem is that Cruz and the Cruzbots think that they are playing some covert chess game, when in reality Trump’s been playing that game all along. Fox sports is beginning to come on strong. A few more of these idiotic moves by espn and Fox sports just may have a chance.
I have watched a couple (maybe 3 or 4?) of games over the years – until this one. Like Target, I will not be giving them any business.
Fox Sports is just as, if not MORE liberal than ESPN. People need to realize that Fox NEWS is conservative, not Fox.

Bosshogg – Trump has not been behind in the delegate count yet, so we’ve never been sore losers. We’re just highly aggravated at the stupidity of you Cruzbots. You’re willing to destroy the entire party for your candidate. What a complete waste.

LOL – Wrong. CA knows Carly. She’s just helped to seal Trump as the next nominee.
 April 27, 2016 at 3:59pm
LOL – Thaat settles it. Trump is the next nominee. :)

I see this constantly brought up, and I do not see it’s relevance at all. As a business man he did whatever the political machine wanted to get what he wanted passed. To me this just means the Dems cost more to buy off. Besides, we are not talking that much money at all for Trump over the past 26 years.
It is like me giving a bum on the street $1, then the media finding out what party he is from (and that $1 in one day is far more to me than the $420,000 is to Trump)

HJoddball – You may get your education from your 5th grader, but I have a real (non-common core) education thanks! :) And by the way, you must have replied before realizing that Cruz and Kasich were in cahoots LOL. So yes it’s official that Cruz is a sellout to the establishment. And no we are not a pure Democracy, but we do have just enough of it so that “we the people” are not railroaded by the establishment. We are a Republic in a sense that we have unalienable God given rights that can’t be taken away. But we still use a system of voting that makes sure that the people are heard. And it was not meant to be manipulated by people with a superiority complex – it was meant to represent “we the people”. That’s why they are called representatives – and delegates. Because “we the people” delegate them. When delegates go against the people, then they’re no longer real delegates. It goes against the entire definition. PS – go ask your 5th grader what it means to delegate.
[-5] April 27, 2016 at 12:24pm
Actually it’s the other way around… they supported him. It’s how business is run right now – and he was a master at it. And thus he’s the only one to know how to undo it. – PS – how was the sammich?

I believe in both cases his Mormonism has a lot to do with it.

Abe Lincoln didn’t have 24hr news or twitter to deal with. Not to mention that Cruz is definitely no Abe Lincoln.
April 27, 2016 at 10:49am
Being a Republic does not mean that you don’t have normal elections. The general election will be decided by voters and not delegates, so it only makes sense that the primaries be similar. What good are delegates if you can’t even get the majority vote? If Cruz can’t even get the votes in his own party, then he’ll get slaughtered in the general election.
Being a republic means that you have elections based on representation through delegates in both the primaries AND the general election. Even during the US presidential general election, the President and VP is chosen through representation – the electoral college. Our Founding Fathers set this system up to keep us from committing national suicide as it always does in a democracy.
A democracy is based solely on popular vote, and this is very dangerous.
John Adams said, “Remember, democracy never lasts long. It soon wastes, exhausts and murders itself. There was never a democracy yet that did not commit suicide.” And, Alexander Hamilton said, “We are now forming a Republican form of government. Real liberty is not found in the extremes of democracy, but in moderate governments. If we incline too much to democracy, we shall soon shoot into a monarchy or some other form of dictatorship.” Additionally, the word “democracy” does not appear in the Declaration of Independence or in the Constitution.”
 April 26, 2016 at 9:14pm
Just remember, the general election will be won with votes, not delegates. If you can’t even get your own party’s votes, then you have no business continuing.
The only person making a mess is the carney barking POS Trump, don't ever underestimate the idiocy of the AmeriKan electorate to produce two progs to choose from for potus.
What mess? How is Beck's opposition to Trump any different than his opposition to Lindsay Graham or Barack Obama? Donald Trump is the most liberal person to ever seek the GOP nomination. Any Conservative, who wishes to be consistent, should oppose Trump. You oppose Beck now because you are a cultist who has irrational infatuation with Trump.
won't be doing any back-peddling...will never unite behind Trump. I CANNOT take yet another year of a "moderate republican" shoved down my throat and told I must vote for him---NOT doing it!
Beck is too proud to admit when he is wrong. I don't think he will or wants to unwind the destruction he's brought upon the party this cycle or he would have toned it down a long time ago. Curious why Beck didn't hammer Romney half as hard as he's hammered Trump. Romney was as progressive as they come, yet he fully endorsed him in the end. Sad. If there is one thing about Trump, he strives to be successful at everything he does and I believe he will do the same as president.

It has to do with math. Something the Cruzbots seem to be sorely lacking in is math skills. Hopefully Trump will be able to abolish Common Core math so that we don’t have to put up with this stupidity for much longer.
venrooy- It is the difference between playing checkers & chess.

Ted may have fought for the constitution, but he’s selling out to the establishment. Trump is mathematically the only one to win. Cruz and his idiot cruzturds should be rallying behind Trump by now to make sure he wins against Hillary – But their collective butt injuries are going to prevent them from ever doing that I’m afraid.
Hopefully they don't delete your post ..like they did when I pointed out the truth.
Oh, yes, by all means, us "Cruzturds" should support your guy. Sorry, we don't support weak, whiny wanna-be-kings. Maybe Trump could get off Twitter and actually learn the process? Or is that too much to ask for someone who wants to be President of our Country? You guys sure are willing to follow weakness.
Why would anyone want to rally for some lying turd with no morals?
A trump troll referencing "mathematics".. Oh the irony.
No. Trump may be the only one that can still get to 1,237 BEFORE the convention, but IF Trump does NOT get to 1237 before the convention then the game is still WIDE open.
This is Ted’s strategy, pure and simple. Work hard to get enough delegates in Indiana that Trump can not make 1,237 before the convention.
All the promised delegated will faithfully vote for Trump on the first ballot as required – but when Trump falls short of the number needed to get the nomination then many of the delegates will get to vote on the second ballot for who THEY actually want.
It won’t be Trump.
"Trump is mathematically the only one to win."
You do not understand anything about the process, but of course that is because you are a Trumpling. If Trump does not get 1237 delegates before the Convention, then it is anyone's game, and Cruz has been working to secure the second vote.
We would rather nominate someone with a good chance of beating Hillary, and all polls show Trump getting his behind handed to him in November.
The reality is, sir, that Cruz isn't fooled by the Trump pretence of being a conservative! He sees through all the slogans, and he knows a Liberal when he sees and hears him !! Trump's kids are registered Democrats, who never switched even to vote for their Dad! He is a liberal, and a Democrat at heart! He will wheel and deal to be the dictator in chief, just like Obama now is! Arrogance does not make a good quality to steer a leader !!
And what has Trump done for you?
Our country is at the point where ONLY a Constitutionalist will serve WE the people. I honestly don't understand how you can believe that Cruz sold out to anyone but his desire to right this ship. Trump, on the other hand, has hired DC lobbyists to run his campaign. WHOSE the sellout now?
Ven, Well, you can bet Dump won't defend the constitution, I don't think he has even read it.
He needs a civics class as much as his followers.
Yeah, and then Trump goes on about how Cruz couldn't make deals in the senate. Followed by how he could.
But Cruz is establishment?
You're not the brightest bulb in the bunch are you? You jabbering little moron.
Please tell me you're joking. Please, talk to your 5th grader and have him/her explain politics to you. There is no selling out to the establishment happening. You aren't entitled to your own facts. The people are rejecting liberty and the constitution in favor of Trump and the delegates aren't stupid so they are going with Cruz. There's a reason we don't have a pure Democracy, we would dissolve and devour ourselves like the Greeks. We have a Republic, if we can keep it. To ask me to 'rally' behind Trump would be like asking me to rally around Hillary. That makes no sense. Pick up a political science book and start over because you didn't get it. That's not a slam, that's a fact and I really want people to learn political science. This will end a lot of the stupidity that I'm seeing as of late. What's worse is that everyone has 'access' to the information at their fingertips if they knew how to use a search engine. I'll leave you with this little tidbit--if Cruz gets on the Trump ticket as VP he will have sold out his principles; if he invites Kasich onto his ticket, he has sold out to the establishment. That is pretty clear. This is a social science, not an exact science. It's not always easy to pinpoint where their positions are. Odds are if they hold two positions at any point, one of them is lying. That's why you should be watching debates. That's why Trump will not debate.
I don't support someone that believes Planned Parenthood does great things. And since DT things that we in North Carolina should allow gender fluid people to use whatever bathroom they feel like at the moment, I won't support him for that either.
Yeah, the establishment at work. You do not care about the truth. It's a pride issue now.
You give the impression that you're not paid to think.
Well said. Time for Cruz to swallow his pride. But he won't because he thinks he's anointed by God.
HJoddball - You may get your education from your 5th grader, but I have a real (non-common core) education thanks! :) And by the way, you must have replied before realizing that Cruz and Kasich were in cahoots LOL. Yes you definitely use the webbing – that automatically forces the glove closed when a ball hits there hard enough.

I agree – and to compromise in only these instances takes one of their only arguments away from them.

That’s what the polls said of every Republican against him. I hope the rest are as overly confident as you. :)
