  • This is just a difficult day. It seems like I’ve been bombarded by the horror stories of Gosnell, the Boston Bombings and now this. So sickening, so sad.

  • It’s a shame there wasn’t a call box on the bus.

  • LOVE IT. Well done!! :)

  • 1. In the story, she reported it and they sent her to the honor court. It didn’t say to whom she told the story, but she did report it. She probably thought she was doing what she was supposed to by going to the honor court.

    2. While we don’t know if her story is true, I’m not sure what she has to gain by speaking out about a fake assault, putting her name out there and risking expulsion now. And obviously the campus would want to shut her up – talking about rape doesn’t really promote the school in the best light.

    3. Aside from her story – the truth is that these schools absolutely want to shut the cases down and quiet the rape talk – it makes the school look bad. And young women are scared about what to do – precisely because they feel that no one will believe them, that maybe they did something to cause it, or just that they don’t want to deal with it publicly because of the scrutiny after an already terrible ordeal.

I have never been raped but was stalked on campus by an angry, unstable ex who I’d broken up with just before it became physically abusive. He threatened myself and my sorority sisters – and you know what? I didn’t tell my parents or anyone at the school because I was embarrassed and naive, so please let’s not assume that every girl is always lying and trying to get attention.

  • SO LET ME GET THIS STRAIGHT:

    1. Let’s educate our young children about SAFE SEX (which encourages them to have sex) and show them all the fun of condoms and reliability of Planned Parenthood.
    2. Then, let’s put all of our sexually active teen girls on hormonal birth control pills and injections so they can have as much safe sex without consequences.
    3. WHOOPS! Sometimes the birth control fails and tissue begins to form. Got any Plan B?
    4. WHOOPS! Too late for Plan B, so LET’S TIDY UP THAT TISSUE with a simple abortion procedure at your local (whaddya know) Planned Parenthood clinic.
    5. Send the girls back out into the world and on to COLLEGE to get INDOCTRIcated. Throw around some colorful condoms and point out the safety call boxes on campus in the event of an ‘uncomfortable situation’.
    6. WHOOPS! She couldn’t get to the call box or pee on herself fast enough when the attacker came up behind her with a gun.
    7. LET’S TIDY UP THAT TISSUE again – abortion in instances of rape, right?
    8. Sign her up and ship her out to the front lines of combat.

It’s a great time to be a girl, apparently.

  • The vast majority of women and girls I know have a lot of respect for the fighters in our military, they have no desire to experience the brutality of war, and they rely on their husbands/boyfriends/fathers to protect them and make them feel safe and lift heavy things, lol. So for the one he-woman out of ten thousand I say, get it girl-but you are an exception, not a rule. The military is supposed to be there to protect our nation, not to play out more social experimentation than in co-Ed dorms. Sigh.

  • Well said.

  • *entail.

  • Imagine an Amerika
    Where energy prices soar
    Where we work all day
    But we don’t get paid
And our freedoms are no more.

We don’t have to pay for healthcare!
We don’t have to pay for food!
    They just tax and tax
    Our Amerikan backs
And we show up for our gruel.

We’re the children of the soup line
    We’re Amerikan, can’t you see?
The plot was thick and tight
    And in the night
    They stole our dear country.

We haven’t killed all of the unborn
But it’s not that we didn’t try
    We silenced voices
    In the name of choices
And let the sick and weak just die.

    It’s a matter of a blue pill,
Or a red pill – that’s the crux
    The President scoffs
    While he’s playing golf
That we think we’re worth the buck$!

We’re the children of the future
    America is through
    Something’s happened to our country
And we don’t know what to do.

Find a business that’s still open
    Find a bulb–no mercury
    Drink a soda fast–
    How long will that last?
    Did you count those calories?

    It’s a little awkward talking
But the cat’s out of the bag
    What’s the point of training
    And educating
When there’s no jobs to be had?

We’re the children of this nightmare
    Amerikan through and through
Someone’s spread all of our wealth now
And there’s nothing left for you.

We’d say you failed your test, but it’s not fair to put labels on people and we’re redistributing grades so that it’s fair for everyone – we don’t really know who to blame or what that would
