Only a Physicist Would Come Up With This Insane But Awesome Way to Split an Oreo

He never said so, but the probable real reason he spent so much time is to learn about programming and hardware building. The Oreo-De-Creamer was just the vehicle to learning.

” unnecessary noises that “annoy, disturb or injure the health, peace or safety of others” are forms of disorderly conduct.”
Who’s to say what’s unnecessary?
“annoy” – so anything that “bothers” me can be silenced? Isn’t that what the First Amendment is supposed to protect?

Award-Winning Conservative Playwright Reminds Jewish Voters: Ballot Is Secret (So No One Will Ever Know if You Don’t Vote Obama)
November 4, 2012 at 11:35am
@DeOppressoLiber — person of Jewish faith here: yes, there are some of us who are actual thinking conservatives.
Unfortunately, the Jewish love of all things liberal goes back to FDR. He was key in bringing down Hitler, so they associate him with being a protector of Jews. We know history that FDR was NOT a friend to the Jews. Several examples: (1) he listened to reform “Rabbi” Wise who advised FDR not to initiate rescue efforts (The Agudath Israel begged FDR for help); (2) FDR turned away a ship full of Jews, the MS Missouri, from porting in America; it was forced to go back to Europe; (3) FDR knew about, and COULD have done more to bomb train tracks leading to concentration camps, but chose not to.
I am a Gen-Xer, rather than a baby-boomer. Fortunately, my generation does not have the psychological crutch of loving FDR by default. I live in a conservative are of Brooklyn; 99% of my friends are conservative. We are politically conservative, Sabbath observant, and are deeply concerned for the future of this great country that has given us Jews the freedom to practice our religion openly and proudly.
Although Jews, as a whole, voted 80-20 for Obama in 2008, we religious Jews voted 80-20 for McCain. Unfortunately, we make up about 7% of the total population of Jews. Non-religious Jews are having less than 2.0 children per family, while religious Jews are having large families. Eventually, Jews could swing back to being a conservative voting bloc.

Exit Poll of American Voters in Israel Shows Huge Favor for Romney
November 3, 2012 at 8:54pm
These are Americans who have made “aliyah”: they have moved to Israel mostly (but not necessarily exclusively) for religious reasons, to be part of the biblical directive to actually live in the land of Israel. Although they have moved to Israel, they are still very proud of being Americans, and as you can see from the exit poll results, they are concerned for the future of America.
