Federal Court Finds No Constitutional Right to Carry a Concealed Weapon — We Explain The Decision
February 26, 2013 at 6:02pm
“However, in practice, this tells us very little about how far that right extends, which is where the current (and future) legal debate is likely to focus. A right to own a handgun is one thing, after all, but what about the right to own rocket launchers? Miniguns? Anti-tank ordinance? An actual, physical tank? Are all of these things protected by the right to keep and bear arms? They are, after all, arms.”
The 2nd amendment was written by people who had just fought a long war against a tyrannical government during which they needed individuals to bring their own weapons (arms) because they could not afford to outfit everyone. Many of those patriots forted up with privately owned cannon, and many went to sea as privateers with ships armed with privately owned cannon.
In short the 2nd amendment intends the people have access to and ownership of any weapon the government has. Period. As to worrying about a neighbor owning rocket launchers and nukes, for God’s sake, I am a military vet and I trust my neighbors more than I trust my Generals and politicians.
Com’on Blaze, for Christ’s sake, the people who are intelligent and reasonable enough to vote to select the representatives are not intelligent and reasonable enough to have the same arms as those who are elected? How stupid can you guys be, Glenn?

The founders were men coming out of a war in which many of the combatants had to supply their own weapons, they knew that for a people to resist tyranny they had to have weapons equal to those whom they wished to fight, hence the word arms (inclusive of what it takes to fight, not limited to hunting rifles) in the 2nd amendment. If the USA military has access to it, we the citizen were intended to have access to it. And, to cut off protesters, who will say, “well are we the people to have Nukes as well?”, to which I say that I will trust my neighbor with a nuke as quickly and surely as I will Chuckie Schumer, Harry Reid, or Obama.

Anyone who can read the 2nd amendment and be confused is either trying to be confused, outright lying, or just plain stupid. Well, let me backtrack, anyone who is educated in U.S.Government schools just may be ignorant enough to be confused.
Maryland Woman Has Kept Track of Every Tax on Her In 2012 — and You’re Not Going to Believe How Much She’s Paid So Far
November 1, 2012 at 11:01am
How does an article about Fed taxes immediately turn into a religious debate among fanatics?
Only 27%, she must not be adding up the local, city, county, and state taxes she is paying as well. If she did I think she would see the number is more near 50%, especially in those states that have state income taxes.

Just another example of political correctness taking place. The dude’s father just spoke the simple truth, but Americans are no longer allowed to be truthful because any truth is likely to offend someone and we can’t do that.
Go to KTRH 740AM radio in Houston, Texas and start listening to Michael Berry, we have someone who will not be shut down, and he speaks the truth as it is.
‘Cory Bookered’?: Feinstein Backpedals on Comment About White House Role in National Security Leaks
July 26, 2012 at 10:39am
“Feinstein added, βI know for a fact the president is extremely troubled by these leaks. His administration has moved aggressively to appoint two independent U.S. attorneys. There is an investigation under way, and it is moving forward quickly.β”
Of Obama is extremely troubled by the leaks…..not the leaks of intelligence, but the leaks that the Whitehouse was responsible. He dun B kot agin!
Is This Article the ‘Ultimate Takedown’ of President Obama’s Rhetoric? Read And Find Out
July 20, 2012 at 9:56am
The ultimate retort to Obama/Warren is the knowledge that the roads are traveled by the unsuccessful in far greater numbers and frequency than the successful
Those (so-call) educated people are available for hire to the unsuccessful as well as to the successful.
That crime prevention is available to the unsuccessful as well as the successful.
Those firefighters serve the unsuccessful as well as the successful.
The unsuccessful far outnumber the successful, and either work for the successful or draw stipends from Obama/government.
The rule of law and recognition of property rights is available to the unsuccessful as it is to the successful.
With that being said, there is zero evidence that government, or others, has done anything to make successful businesses.
What makes a successful business is the individual initiative and drive to take an idea or dream and put together the vehicle that drives it to success.

LOL, if Christianity is, as so many of you believe, so exactly as you say it is; why do we have so many (and I mean a plethora) of little different sects, divisions, and denominations? If the bible is clear as you claim how can so many of you, almost individually, claim that the bible can only be interpreted just one way? The same bible produces catholics, baptists, methodist, Holy Rollers, and even Jim Jones.
Piatt is simply trying to tell you a truth, if you want some one to buy your cake you do not run up to him and shove it in his face and grind it in just to make sure he gets a taste.

“42 Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come.”
And, exactly what in that which Mr. Piatt said contradict? What? Your quote isn’t even a weak argument against Piatt’s #8.
Though I am firmly on the same side of the left-right rift as the participants here at the Blaze, I have to say I am ashamed of how poorly the general run of the mill participant reads and comprehends, on all topics, not just religion. Fortunately the general run of the mill looney lefty reads and comprehends just as poorly.

SLEAZYHIPPOS ILLEGITMATE OFFSPRING
“Why do you call me Lord and not do what I say β-Jesus ”
If you read that line and believe it is Jesus saying he is lord, confirming he is lord, or claiming he is lord, then truly you need to cease touching your keyboard because you are a product of that crappy education offered by federally controlled schools. in other words, illiterate, zero reading comprehension.
All Jesus did in that sentence was show his listeners the paradox of their own making, he made no claim to anything except being sharp enough to hang them on the rope of their own making.
“Why do YOU call me lord, and not do as I say?”
