  • good stuff

  • You forgot Chicago

  • We still own the House and almost half of the Senate. The good thing about all of this is : The human masks are off. We now see the libs as the monsters they really are. Just take a look at what they are proposing: making felons out of lawfull persons for possessing metal cans with springs inside! Passing another ban will be political suicide for any Senator or Congressman. If they don’t know that now, they will after they are all voted out in two years. We need to let them know that in no uncertain terms.

  • Hey GCT, – “The Second Amendment says “arms” not “firearms”, therefore it includes all weapons.”

Actually the majority of constitutional scholars agree that it refers to small arms that can be carried as in “bear”. If it can be carried then it might fall under protection of the SA. Things like a flame thrower? I’m not so sure about that.

  • I seriously hope you are wrong about civil war. The first one was not good with what, 600,000 dead? And besides that who would who be fighting? Would it be the civilians against the government? I guess that is the most likely senario. Not a nice thought.

  • him. Let’s face it, Mitt Romney was a good guy, but he had way too much extra baggage from his past.

This is the country that put Japanese citizens in concentration camps in WW2. Italians and Germans were also targeted in WW1. What about Waco: The government used an Army tank against civilians and burned a bunch of children alive by filling the building with CS gas. CS gas is highly flammable and is not supposed to be used indoors. If you have been through a CS gas chamber in training, you already know how nasty that stuff is, regardless of its flammability. I could not believe my government did that, but they did.

This is the message we need to promote, otherwise we can kiss our guns goodbye. When the ban is done and more shootings take place (and they will if that is the only fix) the liberals will then call for even stricter bans until they are all gone, you can bet on it.

  • I’m not sure of the logic behind the decision to not defend the Second Amendment correctly by meeting any stupid questions the media throws our way with the simple truth.

When any of us (including Wayne LaPierre) is asked, “Why do you need 30 round clips (we understand they mean magazines and they are stupid) for hunting?” Our answer should be, “We need them because that’s what the government has and the SA was never about hunting.”

I also hear crap coming from idiot politicians, like: “The SA says you can own a gun, but you can’t own a cannon or a hand grenade!” Our answer should be: “Well dumb ass, the SA was never about cannons or hand grenades, it was specifically written for firearms only, and it guarantees that the citizen can own and carry whatever infantry firearm the federal Army infantryman carries!”

In addition we could add: “We have already given up our easy access to fully automatic weapons in that we are allowed to own them with increased paperwork, background checks and other provisions to insure that only good guys get them.”

If we start explaining to the populace, that these weapons are needed to protect us from gangs, organized crime and even (God forbid) our own government, we will eventually sway public sentiment to our side. Americans are generally pro second Amendment and I would bet that if 20% of the people that voted for Obama knew he was planning to do an “assault weapons” ban, they would not have voted for h
