I took some legal classes and did pretty good. I consider myself to be intelligent but understanding the Constitution should not be that hard for most people. I guess maybe the new generation with their slangz, poor spelling, can’t read and write cursive, changing the meaning of words or just plan using them improperly will make it much more difficult. I’ve met many folks 30-45 years old who don’t know any more about the Constitution than a 2 year old. It’s heart breaking. Seems they tend to lean left, love electronics and have lack luster parenting skills. That’s just my observation and opinion.

I could be wrong… but pretty sure Reagan was a Democrat until Nancy talked him into getting into politics. Nancy was known to be conservative, enjoyed politics and some say he would never had been president if it was not for Nancy. It has also been said or suggested that it took him time to change his views from left to right even while he was president.
Anyone can re-evaluate their life and change at any time. No one should be penalized for it. You still have to trust and faith that they are true to their new found beliefs.

I have thought about Trump and I believe him and what he says. I won’t go into too much detail but we know he has ego, intelligence and a flare for business. Why would he destroy America when he could go down in history as one of the greatest Presidents by saving America? Trump can’t do that as a democrat, Obama proved that with his policies. Trump would accumulate more achievements in a safe, secure and economically stable America than he would if he was trying to destroy it. Trump isn’t out to lose. If America falls President or not Trump loses with the rest of us.
Trumps work ethics and business skills have no value in a socialist dem society, he knows it. Just thinking about Trumps ego, money and business tells me he will not let America down as it would be the greatest failure he could ever have. Trump isn’t in the business of failure.
It’s all just my opinion. Thank you.

This was no surprise to me. There are those who don’t care even though they know the truth. Then there are those who don’t know and don’t understand even once they have gotten the facts. So almost no one cares except the non left.

During the debate the democrats had 0 original ideas. All 3 were taking each others plans and ideas (idea being used loosely here) or just saying they would build on Obama’s policies. Obama hates Killary but she sure did try to brown up her nose with him and get some support, same for Bernie. I personally think there is a bigger divide within the democrats and their party than with Republicans. We should find the best way to use it to our advantage.

People who need religious accommodations should find employment that doesn’t interfere with the business needs.
Americans work more than any other country, there are 24/7 jobs available in plenty of fields of work. If you can’t work Sunday find a job that doesn’t have Sunday shifts (just example not an attack). I don’t mind accommodating people as long as it does not place undue hardship on the employer or employees.
Many companies forget that they can let people go if they are placing an undue hardship on the company religion or not. It’s not hard to prove for many employers and often the employee refuses any other accommodation such as schedule changes etc before being let go, all the more making the case for the employer.

Person applies for a job, accepts job. Job does not accommodate religion, employer wasn’t aware until 1st day of job. Now employer has to work around religion affecting everyone from their schedule to work load to PTO etc. Now you deal with it or find a new job. This is deemed acceptable now to avoid lawsuits even though the person should have looked for employment in areas that would have been more accommodating to their religion. They know their religion and it’s requirements the employer typically does not.

This guy sounds like me when I worked in a progressive, culturally diverse company.
The entire left wing of my old employer had nothing but people from India. They would not talk to you, look at you, open a door for you nothing to do with you if you were not Indian (basically you didn’t exist to them). Imagine what a pain that is in a company screaming culture and diversity but you can’t get your job done because some one of another nationality won’t speak to you the American.
I don’t care where people come from as long as they WANT to be AMERICAN and assimilate. Melting pot or not if no one assimilated there would be no America or American as we know it. We need to stop this cultural diversity progressive, no morals, no ethics lefty feel good crap. You can’t integrate people who refuse even if the govt approved their visa, provided a ride to the USA and gave them a helping handout.
Cultural diversity is just another form of racism and destruction of America, our people and our values. (well it was in my work experiences).

I have worked in various medical fields over the last 18 years. What Bernie has said amounts to slavery by taxes.
It would cost almost nothing in today’s standards to fix the healthcare system. Simply allow insurance sales across all states, kick the government out of healthcare. A true free market will take care of any and all issues we currently have. I’m sure private insurers will push back and the government because they have thousands of insane rules and regulations to throw away along with government jobs but that’s just whining.

I worked for one of the top 3 private insurers. I couldn’t afford the insurance for my family despite the decent wage they paid.
The ACA/Obamacare rolled out and it was still too expensive but hey they had a Wellness program. Wellness programs are designed to save the insurer money not make you better or get you healthy and ultimately have you front the cost. Wellness programs can also be used against you like per-existing conditions and I can assure you insurance companies were and are aware and have already come up with ways to make you pay.

My Doctor visit with insurance was $150.00, My doctor visit with out insurance and paid in cash $70.00.

Free market is the only way to go.

Why in world do we need permission for public lands and memorials? You can call it govt property all you want but I was under the impression WE THE PEOPLE ARE THE GOVT.

It just goes t show USA INC won out because of lazy Americans. My bad, we have to be culturally respectful in USA INC. Lazy Mexican Americans, Asian Americans, African Americans and of course those racist white people who come from all over the world.
It’s no longer about being American, it’s about bringing your homeland to the states, creating cultural divides and mini country’s that are all about your culture and nothing about the melting pot of American Dreams, liberty and freedom. America is full of missionaries. People with no intent on being American and every intention of changing America’s founding principles and liberties. Missionaries using the American Dream against true America. If other countries can’t have true progression, liberty and freedom why should the USA.

That is just too bad. I guess the general public will have to wait or use sound govt math ( 2+2 = what ever you want.) to figure it out on their own. There is just no way they can look around and figure it out for themselves. This is why we need BIG GOVT. For the good of the SHEEPLE.

As a Masters Degree told me yesterday, the ACA was good for me, I should read it. If I lost my job I could get another in a month and live fine on unemployment. But we need to get govt workers back to work. They have family’s that will suffer. No one has lost jobs or medical coverage over Obamacare AND it’s cheaper. I could go on and on about the insanity of that conversation. Every response to my counter “you should read the ACA” My consistent response, “I did because I work in Healthcare.”

Is any one really surprised about this… I am not.

The people who will be surprised are those still snuggled up with their wool blankets.

I like that some will be willing to provide their pay to charity’s, especially local charity’s. Those sending their check back to the treasury or refusing to “cash it” are just trying to show good will with out committing to the loss of pay.
However, they should all be compensated the way Americans are for jury duty. It is our govt. If we want it running, it should be a civic duty not a career/paycheck. Americans should want to be representatives of the people for the liberty, freedom and the love of country.

$95 for the first year, then it goes up. I doubt this law will hold if it doesn’t destroy what’s left of the economy.
Americans are clueless about most things. Not just medical insurance. If people actually knew anything about their coverage they would not have wanted the ACA. If the economy had recovered the ACA would have been booed.
Guess what… Doctors don’t have to take insurance at all. Ask all the doctors you want about 10% in the US know anything about insurance and how it works. Most think they can see you and just bill the ins. Then the denied claim comes back because they are not network with the ins. Guess what you are responsible for the full cost.
The whole thing is a disaster. Costs more, less quality care and the govt gets to tell you what’s best for you medically. oh yeah awesome.
Just say no. Don’t go to the site, do not give them you’re info. Just wait, enough people have signed on just to see whats what and their info and experience will be posted every where by the end of the week.
I’m assuming those in healthcare like my self who have not come out against this are just trying to have job security. If they can back this they drank too much Kool aid, aren’t old enough or smart enough to know better.

I really hope the shut down continues, sorry govt employees, you are not exempt from the trials and tribulations of life because you work for the govt. Last I check the USA is actually USA INC. Even if it wasn’t, WE THE PEOPLE are supposed to be your employer not the branches of the govt.
Most people didn’t even know most of the guaranteed benefits under the ACA were available to them depending on their state laws and regulations.
HA HA Affordable health care. You’re paying to be in debt at best.
Lets throw out some reasonable possibilities of the lowest available plans.
Premium 200 for a single person per month, deductible 1250 min for medical and RX. Co ins at 40% – 60%. So for 12 months you pay 2400 for ins. Lets say you paid 950 in medical and RX but didn’t meet your deductible. so now you paid 3350 and come January 1st you get to start over and you will probably have a premium increase. As you can see some people find this awesome! It’s not. It’s terrible coverage. And it only gets worse if you meet you deductible.
Tax credit/subsidy? You can’t subsidize 90% of the people in the exchanges and have providers still get reasonable compensation. It’s a bubble. Ultimately medical providers will demand real payments and Ins Co will demand profits. We the American people will see smaller paychecks and higher prices everywhere. It’s unavoidable to prevent collapse and claim success.
    Good luck!

I’ve been int he medical field for 15 years. This story is of no surprise to me and is almost the same scenario for my family. Only difference, I can’t afford my current coverage because my employer… get this… a top 3 health insurance provider had already implemented 98% of the ACA for 2011 benefits.
I work with multiple state medicaid, CHIP and medicare plans and have plenty of experience with commercial and private purchase coverage. I spent half my night providing proof and examples of why the ACA is horrible for the average person… to half my co workers!

I took some calls today that were a little unusual for medicaid and I do have have some suspicion it has to do with the ACA but time will tell.

What really gets me is this… MSM, Dems and the like saying “people want to sign up, the exchange website are crashing so many people want this coverage.” WRONG!
People aren’t signing up, they’re trying to find out the cost. That’s been the biggest mystery. Even people who are not ever going to sign up were on the sites to get the premium costs. Others were trying to get more info about the 4 plans since no one knows what is available. How do I know… I work in health insurance… My co workers were trying to get on the site just to know, callers were asking questions even though they already get medicaid. As was once said before… We will find out once it’s passed. Well 3 years waiting to find out… no surprise here.

If any one else posted this I’m sorry I wanted to get this out there.
When this story hit AZ news… This pastor Ozetta Kirby was saying she and her son were offended because we all know….”Redneck” was the term slaves gave to slave owners and the Confederate Flag stands for slavery.

Needless to say that pi$$ed me off. Then Good ole Bill O’Reilly spews some similar garbage. I’m really tired of the ignorance and lack of history people have when they open their damn mouths.

I live in AZ and my family is full of hillbillys and rednecks from all over the US. I’m French, Russian, German and Irish/Scott/Brit. Some of my family got treated very poorly on arrival to the USA and I even lost some family who did not fit Hitlers German Ideals (non- jewish) but you don’t see me complaining and making up crap. This whole thing is BS!
    AZ has gone down hill in just 15 years. Very few cowboys, no one rides their horses to the store or has any respect. It’s all Illegals, snowbirds, meth addicts and Scottsdale Duche baggery progressives. The Wild West is Dead ;
I’m thankful we still have gun rights here with few limits.

    I’m a woman I don’t feel sorry for them.
They made the choice pressure or not and I’m sure that same kind of “pressure” & lack of thinking is what got them arrested. Sorry If you’re in jail and pregnant… Not such a good mom.
It’s expensive and wasteful of tax payer money.
Consider this is probably not their first time in jail and pregnant. There should be no grounds for these women to sue, they got at least 1 kid granted they probably lost custody. That is their fault. We all have to accept our choices, some good some bad.
Pressure and threats are not the same. Get over it jailhouse ladies, you did it to yourself. It’s time to learn RESPONSIBILITY.

    Sticks and Stones Jimmy.
It’s a shame they let you play in a movie sequal I would have been willing to watch. I will passing on the new movie now that I know you’re in it. I won’t even rent it for a buck at the RedBox.
I refuse to let anyone watch any Jim Crappy movies in my house. Made the hubby change the channel the other day (Happy wife happy life). Dumb and Dumber was pretty accurate for Jim. No worries Dumber, you’re not the only one I’m boycotting but you are in the top of that list! Congrats!

“Reform the USA PATRIOT Act, specifically Section 215 but generally with respect to the rights of American citizens, and impose clear constraints on the powers granted by FISA.” No thank you.

Repeal, Remove, Protect. It’s the only way.

This is only possible because we all pretend money is worth something. It’s all fictitious. This is made up value, words on paper.
Wall Street and the govt are imagining what they want to happen and making it happen. This is not speculation this is total control based on their imagination and our ability or stupidity to believe them. If we decided today we wouldn’t except or pay for anything with what we currently consider as money, it would all collapse in a day.

I wonder if we can use these on capital hill? Put them in planters all around with dollar bills on their spikes. I’m thinking this would work. It would be natural & effective. Might not be humane, but I’m not so sure their human anyway.
This might work out well for the border and entitlement programs to.
We need real common sense measures like this folks, it’s for the greater good.
