With all due respect, you obviously know nothing about baseball. That would not have been a home run if he hadn’t fallen down. It was a triple and an error on the throw that got past the third baseman.
With all due respect, if you touch all four bases on the same play, it can be correctly called a home run in the vernacular. When speaking casually about such events, one does not need to speak as an official scorer would. If you must, you can just wait for the inevitable "how would you score that?" question to show everyone how smart you are.

What this liberal tool/fool is missing is that Obamacare is not about healthcare and never has been. It is about the muslim in the White House destroying western civilization from within. The left knows it will be impossible for the economy to survive $4000, $8000 and $12000 deductibles. They know Obamacare is forcing employers to go to part time employees so they won’t have to cover the costs of healthcare, and the employees won’t be able to afford it either on part time work. Obama hates the US and always has. This is his way of destroying it.
Who cares what Canadian law says? It doesn’t apply in the US. The only thing that matters is if he is a natural born citizen of the US according to US law and as far as I have been able to find out even historians don’t really know what “natural born citizen” means because it was never defined anywhere.
A memorandum to Congress dated April 3, 2009, written by the Congressional Research Service (CRS), states: “it appears that the most logical inferences would indicate that the phrase “natural born Citizen” would mean a person who is entitled to U.S. citizenship “at birth” or “by birth”.
Wow. 2009. Coincidence, much?
VLP, it was defined in hundreds of places, including over two dozen Supreme Court cases, one in which the definition was essential to the decision, making the definition precedence - Minor v. Happersett, cited dozens of times, including Wong Kim Ark, Wong Kim, born in San Francisco to domiciled parents - they lived here but China forbade renunciation of citizenship. Wong Kim was made a "citizen", not natural born. The common-law (understood by most everyone) definition was cited by Chief Justice John Marshall in "The Venus", 12 U.S. 253, as being most concisely defined in Vattel, which was the first law book at our first law school, created out of William and Mary in Virginia, by Thomas Jefferson in 1779. It was Jefferson who created the curriculum and assigned the first required text. Vattel's Law of Nations was the first and only book on George Washington's new desk in New York in 1789 when he was interviewed by the press on his first day in office. Vattel, by a factor of about 4, was the most cited law book in U.S. jurisprudence between 1789 and 1841, We are being ruled by a mob - presumed public opinion. If people don't like Article II Section 1, amend it, but in over twenty five attempts, an amendment has never left Congress for ratification by the states. 'Born on our soil to parents who were its citizen is the law', unless you approve a "Living Constitution", which means no constitution.
Yeah, there’s a big problem with the whole Vattel argument in that Vattel never wrote any definition of the term “natural born citizen” and the founders at the time of the writing of the Constitution had no reason to think that he had. What he wrote, “Les naturels, ou indigenes, font ceux qui font nes dans le pays, de parens citoyens,” appeared in the 1759 translation as, “The natives, or indigenes, are those born in the country, of parents who are citizens.” Not until the revised English translation of 1797, AFTER the writing of the Constitution was it ever translated as, “The natives, or natural born citizens, are those born in the country, of parents who are citizens.”
Minor v Happersett is certainly not a defining precedent, since it specifically mentions that “Some authorities go further and include as citizens children born within the jurisdiction without reference to the citizenship of their parents” and states that it is not ruling on the issue because it has nothing to do with the case at hand. Wong Kim ark IS a controlling precedent, but since it ruled that Wong Kim Ark was a citizen based on the definition of a natural born subject under English Common Law at the time of our founding, it is a precedent that says you are wrong.
Assuming your translation timeline is correct, I wonder how Washington and Madison both fluent in French translated Vattel?
As for Minor, the Court stated:
"The Constitution does not, in words, say who shall be natural-born citizens. Resort must be had elsewhere to ascertain that. At common-law, with the nomenclature of which the framers of the Constitution were familiar, it was never doubted that all children born in a country of parents who were its citizens became themselves, upon their birth, citizens also. These were natives, or natural-born citizens, as distinguished from aliens or foreigners. Some authorities go further and include as citizens children born within the jurisdiction without reference to the citizenship of their [p168] parents. As to this class there have been doubts, but never as to the first. For the purposes of this case it is not necessary to solve these doubts. It is sufficient for everything we have now to consider that all children born of citizen parents within the jurisdiction are themselves citizens."
Since in the case being litigated the individual was born in the US to US citizen parents which the Court defines as "natural born" by common definition by the Court and by the authors of the Constitution. The Court did not have to consider any other "doubted" definition of citizen for the case at hand.
But you have been called on this ruse before.
But you have been called on this ruse before.
A ruse? No sir, telling people that the words “For the purposes of this case it is not necessary to solve these doubts” can somehow be construed as delivering a ruling on the matter is a ruse. Saying that they are a clear statement that the issue was still open is demonstrating an ability to read.
As for how Washington or Madison would translate, “Les naturels, ou indigenes, font ceux qui font nes dans le pays, de parens citoyens,” I’m pretty sure they would not translate “indigenes” as “natural born citizens.” I don’t see how anyone could.

Senator McCain, YOU have no credibility in the US.

One of the things that is very irritating about Jeopardy is their inconsistency. They always, always say that they don’t penalize for misspelling. It didn’t matter in the final outcome. The kid still would have gotten second place, But Jeopardy should have a set of rules and stick by them. Another problem is on Daily Doubles. Some people are allowed a very long time to answer and other people they buzz right away. There should be a set amount of time to give the answer. It should be the same for everybody.

I feel bad for the young lady, but the reactions to this are silly. Let’s all go sit in a corner for the rest of our lives so we don’t get hurt.

Well, Megyn, no matter how hard you try you can’t get past the fact that God gave the women the boobs and the men the physical strength. If women outnumber the men as major bread winners it is devastating to society.

McCain, why don’t you go join the jackass party where you belong?
May 20, 2013 at 2:38pm
You call this a smoking gun? Might, perhaps, maybe. Stop the wishful thinking and give facts. If you don’t have facts don’t waste your time on a non-story.
And why do IRS employess need a union anyway? The IRS is a left wing government agency. The employess are a bunch of left wing losers. So the left wing employees need a union to protect them from the left wing government bureaucracy. That tells me all I need to know about the sleeze that makes up the democrat party.
Pick a scandal with this POS and any one of the three that we know about is enough to get the M & M and Biden fired. It doesn't have to be an iron clad case, especially in politics where perception is everything. His brain dead worshipers will never want to see him fired of course, hell they're so stupid they probably want him to stay in power for life.
Here are some facts about how you get elected by using Federal Unions to infect our governemnt at every level. The IRS Union - NTEU - members also want to be exculded from Obama-Tax-Care as an excuse that they have 'oversight' & should not be included so they can avoid "harassment, intimidation and abuse" etc. What a crock of BHO!
Oh, come on.... Haven't you heard? It's irrelevant. Anything and everything that questions the job Obama is doing is partisan and irrelevant!
People are usually too smart to leave a smoking gun in incidents like this. Say what you will about the President, but they've learned from Watergate, they know to cover their tracks. That said, they still leave plenty of "shell casings" behind, and it doesn't take a rocket scientist to find the pattern and the criminal.
I doubt that President Obama will take any legal flak from this, there are enough fall men and human shields to absorb most of the strikes. But he is rapidly burning out his credibility among the population. He may not go the way of Nixon, but he is rapidly becoming Ulysses Grant without the benefit of the general's military career.
When you start putting people in jail from the lower levels they will start talking about who told them to do what, and when... The people (if you can call an IRS agent that) who signed the letters is where we need to start then work our way up the ladder...
Next the National Treasury Employees Union will need to go away. This is the very thing that Roosevelt (D) feared would happen... Unions feeding a political candidate and reciprocity is returned with higher pay at the tax payers expense... If they are in this Union, they need to be fired... I think we could do with out the IRS for a while...
A son was born to Obama Sr in 1961 on Kenya
"we must point out that 117 “total people” were at the event. This in and of itself makes the referenced report and this report a complete waste of time, effort. Unless of course one feels the clear inference is anything other the gross disrespect. But hey who ever said Christians show respect for the President.
Someone refered to Colleen Kelley as Peter Griffin (Family Guy) with a wig. LOL! Spot on.
Ooops sorry I forgot. According to virtually all true Christian scholars, mormonism is not a christian religion.
VLP, did you see the headline? it had a question mark... it was not saying it was a smoking gun, it was questioning whether or not it could be.. it presented (in a very clear and concise way) the facts and it was letting you decide what you thought.. pretty straight forward to me...
VLP....FORENSICS - 101......Gather the evidence, then you have a way to formulate the right questions. Even a smoking gun has to be proven. At the very least, we have a who and a what, to work with....And many curious people, who want and need to know more.
Actually it is a story-unless you believe in a vast array of coincidence. Given the current state of trust between this administration and the public, there is no such thing as coincidence. Of course, the WH would consider it "irrelevant" (that seems to be their latest code word). Sounds a lot like Nixon & Agnew-and yes, I'm old enough to remember.
These records in the British Archives were available to view by ANYONE until Aug. 2009…..the SAME time that Hillary visited Britain and Africa???????
This and the AP scandal will go nowhere. Why? Because these two “scandals” are playing out exactly the way this administration wants them to. All you need to know: Both of them came to light via the administration. Both are weatherable distractions serving/having served multiple benefits for Obama. Their end goal was to intimidate and destroy opposition. This is the Chicago way and this is how we know these orders came from Barry.
AP: They were able to intimidate the media while looking for whistleblowers and distracting from Benghazi.
IRS: They were able to intimidate conservative donors while slowing down conservative activist groups, supplying tactical information to leftists groups (propuplica), and distract from Benghazi.
The only thing that didn’t pan out for them is the exact timing. They would have preferred the IRS/AP bit to be closer to the midterms but Chancellor Araganto needed some Benghazi coverage sooner rather than later. Steve Miller was aware of his role months ago. “Hey Steve, we’re going to need you to take one for the team but don’t worry, we’ll take care of you. No low level person will get fired because they can’t afford any turncoats. The only scandal worth pounding away at is Benghazi because that’s the only scandal they didn’t orchestrate months ago.
that is why they want out of Obamacare - they know it is a means to "spy" and "control" US citizens - and their banking and savings accounts - under the guise of a healthcare plan.
You don't need a smoking gun. Review the legal principle of "knew or should have known."
Many criminals have been sent to jail with this legal standard, Obama has a cell reserved at Gitmo. The crime occurred, he knew or should have known per his job description.
What with all the Muslim Brotherhood meetings & IRS conniving,
the spying & lying,
it's a shock that the country is doing so well...
oh......wait a minute ?
Oblameo is waging his own P&R war
and I'm not talkin' Public Relations-
"Punishment & Revenge",
his two favorite motivational words
& his personal prescription for "Healing" the country,
now, permanently tagged to his skinny, bully butt for history.
Tea Party groups will be protesting at IRS offices nationwide on Tuesday
>And why do IRS employess need a union anyway?
That's easy -- it is a money laundering scheme for Democrats to get money from all of us. Here's how it works.
1) Government collects income tax from the 50-something percent.
2) Government pays IRS employees with tax monies.
3) Union takes dues from IRS employees.
4) Union makes massive contributions to DNC or Democrat candidates.
Thus EVERYONE contributes to the DNC/Democrats whether you like it or not. That's why there are government employee unions.
Keep reading & keep watching! My God, have you listened to any of the stuttering reports that have been made by obamas puppets that have been questioned? They are so obvious & misleading! But that's not our problem....The problem is if they clearly came out with True facts than where would it go from there? You have flip floppy representatives that are also doing the same thing! Mitch McConnel needs to be kept away from speaking, he is making a fool of himself & us!
Where was all these ticked off reporters and Liberals when the IRS gave out all the private info about Mitt Romney. Of course they tried to sweep the fact that the Romneys gave $16 million to charity.
It seems we here things hourly now about how the government is totally out of control. Obama gave them full control of things it seems Congress is supposed to be in control of. Where is the White Horse going to come from that will take this fraud of a government and give us back the Constitutional one?
The true scandal here is she was in the WH for 11.5 hours and appears to have depleted the cafeteria in a single sitting? Where is Moochelle on this union hag's extravagance? HHS could make adverts on just her and healthy dieting alone. Travesty at the missed opportunities once again.
Since Obama says that he knows nothing about nothing that goes on in the White House...then he is obviously NOT in charge....SO...will y'all STOP playing "Hail To The Chief" when he walks into a room.....thanks.
This is a non-story. The part that infuriates me is the executive order:
"The directive specifically allows “employees and unions to have pre-decisional involvement in all workplace matters.”
Insanity. This union gets to be involved in ALL workplace decisions? This is the most insane and socialist garbage I've seen this pres pull. Aside from OboCare, everything else he has done pales in comparison to this. Labor unions representing civil servants should be illegal in the first place! These labor unions are against US! It's OUR government and we have unions representing the civil servants?? Yes, I know this has gone on for decades but that quiet little exec decision to give the union that much authority has huge repercussions.
cult [ kult ] 1.religion: a system of religious or spiritual beliefs, especially an informal & transient belief system regarded by others as misguided, unorthodox, extremist, or false, & directed by a charismatic, authoritarian leader.
Most cults are begun by charismatic ppl, teaching things which don't jibe of the religion they purport to be, mostly based in false prophesy.
A true Prophet of God is s/o sent w/ the Word of God to give to His ppl. As God is perfect & the prophesy is His direct Word, only a False Prophet will be wrong in a prophesy, & any relion he founds would be a cult.
All that said, if s/o were to come along teaching secret teachings (that only he, himself could decode from a text nobody else ever saw) that differ from the religion that he purports to be, gains a following, declares himself a Prophet of God, and then is wrong (even once- for instance, that there are men living on the moon who dress like Quakers & live 1000 years, or that the people live on the sun, or if he purports to know the date and time of the End of Days when the Bible clearly states that no man can), he would be a False Prophet.
Then there's this lulzy "One Minute Answer":
"At the present time, man has no scientific or revealed knowledge of whether or not there are inhabitants on the earth's moon."
~One-Minute Answers to Anti-Mormon Questions, by Stephen W. Gibson. Horizon Publishers & Distributors, 1995. p. 80.
Right. Except that there's no at
(finishing the thought...)
Right. Except that there's no atmosphere on the moon.
Yo, Blaze staff... Shouldn't the "characters remaining" count down be accurate and not cut comments 15-20 characters short?
It's an old TQM trick. The facilitator moves the group by involving people who are opposed to one another and eventually gets consensus to move in the direction that the top level manager wanted in the first place.
My question is, since he gave the federal employees so much latitude under "Workplace Flexibility" why is the INS union suing the government in an effort to be able to do their jobs>

To call Jasser an Islamic leader is ridiculous. He has almost no following among muslims. His version of Islam exists only in his own mind.
He is a voice in the wilderness of Islam. While I don't doubt what he says, I doubt it will make much difference.
The cliche "All muslims are not terroists but all terrorists are muslims" holds true.

So why do the Israelis let this jerk into their country in the first place? They’re as dumb as our republicans. They give him a forum to speak his drivel to a bunch of kids who you know are going to applaud everything he says. Talk about setting up a photo op for him. So now he’s got footage of him trashing Israel to the applause of Israelis. How stupid can you be?
Most likely out of repsect for America and Americans. Israelis have always regarded the USA as the shining city on the hill, the ideal democracy. But BHO's presidency has been a real eye opener for many Israelis. They know understand that while a majority of Americans support Israel, it is still possible that the government does not. And they are acting accordingly.

This clown of a politician thinks we can fix this problem. Yeah, right. In Warren vs. District of Columbia SCOTUS ruled that the police have no duty to protect the public. And since, when seconds count the police are only a half hour away if they show up at all, how are we gonna fix this problem? Take all the guns away? The criminals are really going to obey that law. It will just gives the cartels another black market item to deal in, thus increasing crime, not decreasing it. Get out of your Ivy League classroom and get in the real world.
Besides, governments have murdered more people than all of the wing-nuts combined. In fact, most governments, our own included, are run by wing-nuts.

I don’t care what people do in private, and I don’t give a hoot about CPAC after they shunned Pamela Geller, but to recognize gay marriage will be disastrous to conservative values. God, if you’re a believer, and nature if you are not, knew what He/it was doing when He/it created the world. I’m agnostic, by the way.
It takes a man and a woman to produce a child, and thousands of years of history show us that children that are raised outside of the nuclear family are at a distinct disadvantage. A child needs a mother and father. That doesn’t always work out in the real world, but we conservatives shouldn’t be contributing to the problem by supporting gay marriage. Gay adoption will be disastrous for children.
