How a $10 Purchase Saved a Man’s Life After He Was Bitten by a Rattlesnake

WRONG, WRONG, WRONG.
Larger snakes inject more venom.

I’m sorry, as a person with a degree in Forestry and Wildlife, those snake bite kits are nothing but snake oil. They don’t help. That doctor was wrong, as many doctors are wrong.

Someone at the Blaze should contact someone who knows something about snake bites, like Jim Harrison at the Kentucky Reptile Zoo.
Someone else also posted that smaller snakes are more dangerous because they don’t “meter” their venom. That’s false. The larger the snake, the more dangerous. Even if a large snake doesn’t inject all of its venom, it will still likely inject more volume than a smaller snake just because it has more venom and larger fangs.
Ann Coulter Battles John Stossel & a Room Full of Libertarians: This Is Why People Think You’re ‘Pu**ies!’
February 22, 2013 at 12:45pm
How is stating that people should not be prohibited by law from engaging in actions the same as encouraging the behavior? There’s a clear difference between “you’re being stupid and shouldn’t do that” and “you’re being stupid and shouldn’t do that so you should go to jail”.
The problem with Ann’s stance is that she makes the argument that government can also tell us what food we can eat or what other activities we can engage in. I like rock climbing, should that be banned because we have social security disability? To what end are we going to submit to government authority over our personal lives?

What a fantastic display of civil discourse.
Are you that in capable of civil, rational discussion? What do you really think your post accomplished?
Why not just take the time of a well reasoned, well thought out rebuttal to libertarianism instead of throwing a round insults?
Ann Coulter Battles John Stossel & a Room Full of Libertarians: This Is Why People Think You’re ‘Pu**ies!’

Good lord, folks.
Look, first of, most call me a radical libertarian. I wear that badge proudly. However, how in the world can we have any sort of rational discussion with someone like Coulter when she calls us a bunch of pu$$ies or nerds? She accuses us of caring only about drugs and won’t give a word in edgewise for counter arguments.
Some of you all should look at the next part of the Stossell interview as John, and the audience give Dennis Kucinich a run for his money as it relates to economic liberty and health care.
However, Glenn is right in that many on my side act as equally shrill and irrational as Coulter. Frankly, I get tired of not subscribing 100% to Rothbard. I get tired of being browbeaten for being a big fan of Ayn Rand.
One of the biggest problems, aside from big government, is civility. Why in the hell can’t people be more civil? Look at how Milton Friedman debated and contrast it with Ann Coulter. Its like comparing Masterpiece Theater with WWF.

‘Real News From The Blaze’ Discusses What Exactly Is Ron Paul Still Doing Running for President
May 8, 2012 at 7:55am
And Ron Paul derangement syndrome continues.
But in reality, it’s not about Paul, it’s about a Republican party that still has yet to embrace any aspects of libertarianism and the limited government needed to once again make this the country which embraces freedom and individual liberty.
The Republican party is still the party of the self anointed “country clubers”, but that’s going to continue to change as that generation dies out.

Report: Ron Paul Signed Off on Incendiary Material in Newsletters
January 28, 2012 at 1:18pm
The only thing that I don’t like about this is Paul possibly lying about not knowing or being involved. I’ve read all of the newsletters. I didn’t find one single incidence of racism. I did find some examples of being bigoted and a few examples off color remarks, but nothing really to get OMG! hysterically upset about like what Hannity et als would have you believe.
Yet Paul has been married to his wife for 55 some odd years, hasn’t cheated on her, raised a great family, hasn’t participated in government schemes or crony capitalism and in general wants to leave me alone.
Yup, he has flaws, they all do after all, that’s what the establishment keeps telling me that I need to overlook Romney’s or Newt’s flaws, but for some reason Paul’s flaws are some unacceptable travesty.
