Revolt Among Republicans on Immigration Bill: 70 House Members Risk Careers in Planned Showdown With Leadership
June 13, 2013 at 8:15pm
To even have this debate right now, while Rome is burning, is an indication of how sick our nation is. Besides the illegals that want status, and pandering politicians, is this really the thing our nation needs to tackle? What about a budget?!? What about our RIGHTS under the constitution?!?
This bill is laden with so much grotesque nonesense… I bet Encinom and I could draft a more reasonable piece of legislation, and I am pretty sure he and I have little in common.
1. Require DHS to provide a report each year on the building of the fence and securing of the board. (I would rather even have an independent group or the border states do the report) and congress vote on record that they approve the report. Tie this to some benefit / requirement.
2. Secure the border
3. No status… No benefits / freebies / welfare / subsides or other special considerations. Citizens first, followed by people who want to be citizens. You come here without respect for our laws, I hope you bring lots of cash… cause no more hand outs (other than private charity).
4. Create a Path for Work Visa’s for those who are already hear. You pay taxes and abide by our laws… welcome. Break the law… and its hasta luego amigo!
5. Work Visa = no voter status. Citizen = voter
6. If you want to apply for citizenship after 3 years of work visa and no criminal record + you paid taxes, you are placed at the end of the line for your country.
Now how stinking hard was that?
Here’s TheBlaze’s Start-to-Finish, 24-Hour+ Coverage of Dramatic Manhunt of Alleged Boston Bombers — It All Started With Reports of Gunshots at MIT
April 19, 2013 at 5:59pm
This whole situation now is sad to watch unfold. Maybe I have become to cynical, but did you ever imagine an America that looks like this:
1. “Suspects”, terrorists on the run
2. Is there a warrant? Has there been evidence presented to a Judge to get warrants issued?
3. Look at how many innocent peoples privacy was violated without question by the public as the government sifted through your emails, phone calls, and posts.
4. Boston has been turned into a temporary police state… and look how quickly this was done. They cut cell and cable services to folks. Large groups of armed officers in combat gear visible in many areas.
And the whole story, especially around the 19 year old seems very suspicious. Maybe he did participate in the bombings. It is likely that he did. But how does one who recently in 2012 became a US citizen turn into someone who hates this country. He is a first generation immigrant from the former soviet union. Yet, has he been given the opportunity to give up? To turn himself in? To proclaim his innocent as is his right? This feels very much like a lynching to me!
Now… do not get me wrong. If we do take him alive with a warrant etc, he should be charged with Treason in addition to the mass murder.
Two Explosions Reported at Boston Marathon, Multiple Injuries, Casualties Reported
April 15, 2013 at 6:43pm
Here is what I think will happen:
1. We will likely never know the truth
2. If we do find out it is Muslim Extremism, we will do nothing.
3. While the Administration and Congress keep the Story of Boston alive, the anti-second amendment, freedom restriction act will pass.
4. No one will tell the truth of the Immigration reform bill (1500 pages?!? Warning!), probably to be named the “If your against this or even read it, your just the type of terrorist at the top of our progressive enemies list act”.
5. The President will get some good fundraising done with Boston Families and press for armed drones so we can prevent another Boston.
6. President shaves 2 strokes off his golf game in a quick vacation to Augusta National for the Masters of the Universe golf tournament.
(5 and 6 are there to demonstrate the absurdity of what might happen in this country).
Is CPAC a Vested Interest in Failure?
March 14, 2013 at 2:58pm
Richard makes some good points and challenges the current view of CPAC. Perhaps there was a time when CPAC was a think tank – a place to solve issues. Like many things right now, it has been co-opted by the establishment. Sure some of the speaches may be red meat for constitutionalists looking for any glimmer of hope, but at the end of the day, I believe Richard’s assertion to be correct.
Think about it! The right wing progressives want power just as much as the left. They will compromise thier values and sell the country out to achieve it given the chance. Keeping us angry with the same old divisions blinds us to the corrupt backroom deals and power brokering which they engage, just as much as the left. They have proven over the last few years they are untrustworthy.

Holy Cow! I need to get the heck out of this place!
I’d rather live in the desert and be free than have all the wonderful sunshine and be a slave.

Do Gays Have a Constitutional Right to Marry? Here’s Why Activists Fear Losing Their Supreme Court Battle
December 10, 2012 at 2:21pm
I have come a long way on Same Sex Marriage. First some background. My sister is gay. She came out of the closet on Thanksgiving, 1995. I will never forget it and how destructive this was, not only to my own family, my sisters relationships, and my sister. For the first two years, I listened to my mother cry on the phone almost every night and my dad, trying to keep it together, wondering if somehow, he was to blame. I despised my sister for what she had done and thought her selfish to project her profound guilt in turning from God to our family under the guise of “just deal with it…”
It took a long time and lots of prayer for me to realize that God will judge me for my own actions and not the sins of others. And believe me, I have much to be held accountable for. Thankfully, God is merciful and sent his son, Jesus Christ, who died for my sins and has paid my account in full if I believe in him. Christ calls each of us to love one another.
While I may find the promotion of this behavior in public deplorable, I try and look at it from the other point of view. For me, my real opposition to legalized gay marriage is that now my government is going to tell me what the definition of marriage – a religious institution – shall be. Does this mean my church will have to recognize and support this behavior against church doctrine?
The real problem here is government. Government should not be in the marriage business.
Graphic Video: Stunning Moment as Child Is Coached on Self-Flagellation During Bloody Muslim Ritual at Alleged U.S. Mosque

While I may find this religious practice Barbaric, they certainly have the right to practice it so long as it does not infringe upon the constitutional rights of others. The fact that they have children present is repulsive and offensive. Yet so long as others are not harmed or coerced into such behavior against their will, they have the freedom to practice what they will.
I do think several here need to read the 1rst Amendment again more carefully.
U.N. Grants Palestinians Historic Statehood Recognition Status
November 29, 2012 at 7:47pm
The Palestinian’s could have long had peace with Israel,,, but choose not to. Six times they have been given land for peace, and chosen the path of hatred.
They can have peace tomorrow with Israel. 1) Recognize the Jewish state and that they have a right to exist. 2) Renounce violence and negotiate.
Solutions can be found to everything else. But the Palestinians will never do this because their deep hatred of the Jewish people will prevent them from living side by side in peace.
If I were Israel, I let the UN and the world know… 1 more bomb or attack on the nation of Israel will bring a swift conquering of the Gaza Strip. Then get to the work of helping Peaceful Palestinians prosper under free Israeli rule.
