If this class is an elective then i don’t see the problem. Parents that don’t want their children in the class just have to say no. I understand that there is a separation of church and state but if the class is about the bible and how it has affected history and not on teaching its beliefs as a way to live your life then it should be ok.

Does anyone really care what these people think and say?

When i said apologized for i meant reparations as well. I should have worded it as reparations were made would they never bring it up again.
I would also like to hear what it would take to make reparations. I would almost be willing to consider something reasonable if it meant never having to hear about slavery again.
…Then again… since i have never owned a slave much less seen one in my lifetime i doubt i would find anything reasonable.

You know what they wont let people put on their sights? A list of all the lies and tricks from the Zimmerman trial that make the media and our gov. look like a bunch of criminals.
I was told by a friend today that he had posted a list of all the things that happened in the trial that were lies and trickery by the prosecution and media against Zimmerman, and today it had been removed from his and many others time lines.

I was not trolling. Just asking if it is really that gruesome. To me “gruesome” is something i would use to describe a horrible car accident, a dismemberment, or a gunshot to the face. Just seems to me that if bone or muscle was exposed in the hit, it would have been mentioned in the article. Since it was not mentioned and characterized as a “smack” to the face… it leads me to believe that it is getting hyped up.

It would have been awesome is he pulled out a gun and killed them… then was acquitted by a jury of his peers.

If slavery was apologized for, do you think blacks would say ” FINALLY THANK YOU!! ” and never bring it up again?

Is one wack in the face with a hammer really that gruesome?
Depends where and how hard he was hit. If hit in the right spot skin/muscle and bone could have been exposed not to mention blood. Are you willing to get hit in the face with a hammer to find out? NO I bet your not. What a stupid statement you just made.

I imagine if ti was your face you would probably describe it as much worse.

Maybe she just has a hard time feeling bad for a group of people that choose to live in hurricane alley…
Pat, Hurricane Alley? Yeah, that's what I call it too, until I bring myself up short and
know the correct name is Tornado Alley. Since this has started, I seem to always
need to correct myself---''It's tornado and not hurricane.'' Hope this is soon over for
