  With electric rates going UP, we have little choice but do what we can to save where we can.
  lighting is less than 10% of your total bill, the fridge & heating system use way more, but you CAN save on lighting especially if the light is used a LOT.

  I sell a GLASS LED bulb that is the equivalent and uses 4.4 watts ! lasts 15 years or more
  for 1/3 the price of these !

  Well, do think it’s good for a child to learn how government works and how ordinances and laws are passed. I use the plastic bags to line my smaller trash cans around the house it would be a drag to have them gone. I find it laughable that far inland they still claim the bags end up in the ocean.
  Maine is starting to turn around, GOP governor, GOP majority in the legislature, if we can keep it that way we can turn the state around, they even LOWERED the state tax rate, there is hope !

  Nice to see Beck and The Blaze evolving.
  It was not a few weeks ago that Sunday articles were Bash ‘Catholic church day’.

  Umm, lets see the Catholic Church has been holding these kinds of meetings for oh, idk around 2000 years, In recent History, Pope John Paul II threw open the doors of reconciliation between faiths, Just sayin’

  I find it very cynical some of the comments here wondering if Beck should “help” the Church or not.
  Cynical in that you, and he for that matter, discounted the 70 millions of U.S. Catholics Quietly Observing our faith.
  It seems to me Beck sees what Obama does not, we are kinda a silent majority, and quite active, if you have eyes to see.
  We DO welcome back those of sincere and good conscience. I find it amusing that there are people ignorant of faith assuming the Church is throwing in with Beck, when it is in fact the other way around, at least on this obamacare and freedom issue.

  I welcome it, if he is not against you he is for you.
  Work your own salvation out with God.

  While everyone argues about this, nobody notices the subtile change in power and freedom.
  A Bill that has taken a HUGE fight in Congress and votes from ALL of it’s members, is altered by the edict of King Usama.

  When did the WH get the power to alter ANY part of this LAW ?

  Why would they pick a huge fight with a huge voting block in an election season ?

  Don’t be surprised when elections and CONgress are suspended in the coming months.
  I imagine it will go something like Saddam’s visit to his parlement the day he took power.

  no, this is beyond the obvious objections to a law about to be implemented,
  it is about the very separation of Powers and the excercise of that power by Government.
  This healthcare law needs to be struck down in it’s ENTIRETY as unconstitutional !
  CONgress needs to reign in this would-be-king right now or we are lost.

  I too am glad she appears to be on the mend, it could have been a LOT worse.

  Anyone who has studied the Martial Arts will tell you that a wheel kick, is an “uncontrolled” kick.
  Meaning that the force delivered is by nature very difficult to “pull” meaning it can kill.
  High Kicks are also dangerous to deliver to a fresh opponant as they can backfire.
  usually it’s the lighter-weights who can get away with it because of speed, with a relatively fresh opponant.
  A heavy-weight who connects can easily kill.

  UFC & MMA are modern day gladiator sports, I am surprised we have not seen many deaths as yet.
  with only mouthguards and gloves, it is inevitable.
  I don’t follow these “sports” as what you want to see is the Grandmasters fight, but they don’t, instead you get the egos and the impatients who have 1st degrees in several arts. not all but some.

  The spectacle is athletic, hence the popularity, I wonder what the fighters actually make.

  It’s usually the sponsors and promotors who make the serious $.

  The saying in the biz is “they will kill each other for a trophy & a title”
  it all depends on your perspective: living vicariously thru the event, exploiting it,
  or participating for momentary fame, and years of injury-for what ?
  on the other hand years of training & hopes wiped in an instant, permanent injury.
  It’s a huge risk.
  Even a bench warmer in Football makes huge coin.
  Think about it…
  In some aspects it puts these guys in even more respectful light, they have a LOT riding on the outcome for little relative gain.
