  • deliberately causing pain to animals is not right. But letting your household pet out without concern of what it is doing is just as irresponsible. Poor Moody is dead because the owners did not exhibit control over the cat. If the cat is not outside their domocile, the cat does not get caught in the preacher’s live trap. That is just the truth. Now the preacher should not have taken actions that caused injury to the animal. The animal control officer should have taken control of the animal when contacted. At that point, he could have returned the animal to its owners and cited them for violation of animal control ordinances. Feel sorry for Moody, but no humans in this case.

  • Another battle with the La Raza types who have the goal of conquering the U.S. Southwest without a war.

  • the Asian business owner expects the same level of service the Dallas PD gives white folks? He just does not understand how things work in Dallas.

  • Dan, I have never heard a single Republican or conservative hoping that someone would perform the surgery you indicated. People on your side burned George Bush in effigy and you indicated that was a reasonable expression of political speech. If a soul were to burn BO in effigy in the U.S., there would be an outcry for a Constitutional Amendment defining “hate crimes”. This same Amendment would also limit the same political speech you think is ok when there is a conservative/Republican in the White House.

Not that he was ever “middle of the road” prior to his demise from the anchor desk at the CBS Evening News, once he was fired from that gig, he has become another Chris Matthews. The only real difference between Rather and Matthews is that Matthews has a regular paying job.

  • At least one news outlet is pushing the White House on this. Even if we would expect Fox to do that. If this were a republican administration, news conferences or opportunities only with the press secretary would be full contact events.

  • Christie is a closet democrat, but the way this story is being gerrymandered is inaccurate. You know what, he is correct. Dunes are a proven protection against storm surge. This is an excellent example of what domain is should be used.

  • CPS organizations in so many jurisdictions overreach when not necessary and ignore real issues in life when children are in genuine danger. It is truly sad when you consider.

  • An emotional response to tragedy is never effective. Doing something so you can satisfy the need “to do something” usually leads to an ineffective response.

  • why does the Blaze advertise publicity stunts of this organization owned by NBC? The Weather Channel was bad enough before NBC bought it, but it has gone over the edge since that purchase was closed.

How many times in the last few months have you flipped over to find out what the weather is going to be and don’t see a forecast for 30-45 minutes? Jim Cantore and Al Roker are the big stars now. They are both big headed “celebrity” weather presenters. While Cantore is an actual meteorologist, Roker can’t even spell weatherman.

Cantore is king of do as I say not as I do. How many times have you seen him standing in storm water while telling people that standing in storm water is dangerous. I am hoping for a Cantore sighting where the outcome is comparable what happened to Geraldo Rivera on Galveston’s Seawall in advance of Hurricane Ike, bahahahaha!

  • And the Houston Comical wonders why people have stopped buying their paper. This is absolutely the type of cartoon that Hearst communications would publish. Davies is credited with numerous editorial cartoons the rip the right, TEA Party, conservatives, energy groups and, of course, big bidness.

He is known for pushing the envelop on sensitivity and taste. Well, actually blowing right past is into the realm of bad taste.
