Does Becket Adams even speak to anyone in the refining business before writing uninformed tripe of this nature? He read some articles written by people who may have driven by a refinery at some point in their lives. This is a great example of journalistic malpractice.

if kwhiteis even includes names like McCornyn or Stockman in the list of who to vote for in the senate primary, that person is a low information voter. McCornyn and Stockman are so DC it ain’t funny. If I can’t find a candidate, I would not vote in that primary.

praying for Mr. Smith. His booking photo indicates signs of meth addiction. He needs prayer.

Carl was a great athlete and American. But he is educated enough to understand that you don’t bite the hand that feeds you. He should have known that going against Christie would be as smart as going against Obama. Hillary Clinton thought she could show up BO and look how bad she looked on the Benghazi report. He pretty much killed her campaign with that.

Lewis has made a political mistake and is being not so smart in bringing things up after the fact. Glad he moved from Texas back to New Jersey, he fits in better up there.

I want to know why he consented to the search. That only invites trouble as HOUSTON Cops are notorious where it comes to planting evidence.

after he was swept away, others put themselves at risk to save his dumb ****.

I wonder what Morrissey thinks of Gary Glitter, a meat eating child molester.

First, who was the major actor referenced? I only saw Steven Segal. He is a type D celebrity on the same level with Kathy Griffin. Second, this is the state that has elected John McCain several times, there is no telling what these people will do.

I don’t understand how this is news. Both these men have set this up to increase their visibility and for marketing. That’s all. Neither will change any minds or hearts. I will certainly not participate by watching or reading about the event.

she should remain jailed as nature steers its course. I have absolutely no sympathy for a person who conspired to damage our nation, proudly. She has yet to admit the activities she undertook were illegal and detrimental to our nation. I do not doubt that this terrorist supporter was released in no small part due to her conviction occurring due to the work of George W Bush’s Justice Department. I also do not doubt that the current U.S. Department of Justice would NOT prosecute a similar crime would it occur today.

Having been subjected to folks who use both arm rests and some of the adjacent seat due to excess poundage, I can understand the views expressed by the person who provided feedback to the airline. I might not have provided the same level and method of feedback, but…..

Stay classy Atlanta. Y’all got it going on over there. No wonder the Braves are moving to the suburbs, outside the service area of the subway.

I hope the anonymous donor does not ask for their money back. I hope they DEMAND their money back in a very public way.

People of God are known for their generosity. If not for Christians, charity in the United States would be next to nothing. Those tolerant agnostic, atheist and Islamic people do not give to charity at nearly the level those who follow the God of Abraham. That is the undeniable fact.

that is amazing. How many Bud Lights had to be consumed to get 18 pounds of aluminum?

A step in the right direction? This is not even a slight glance in the general direction. Just think, less than 2 years ago, we thought Paul Ryan was the face of fiscal conservatism in government. Man, were we fooled.

just who are Bomani Jones and Dan LeBatard? I have never heard of them. I did not know ESPN 8 had talk shows. If I want sports talk, I listen to AM radio.

All you folks pledging your devotion to Stockman really need to find out about this guy before you fall before his alter. He is not a nice man. His credibility is not measurable, as it does not exist. Any candidate that was defeated by Nick Lampson should have the sense to not run for office again. Stockman bucked convention and targeted the intellectual low end in his district to gain election. His campaign was successful using underhanded tactics that will not be successful in a state wide campaign.

This is a guy who does NOT need to be invited into the most exclusive club in the world, ever.

These statements are purely my personal opinion.

Congressman Stockman is my representative in the House. I have observed his behaviors for 20 years, including his first time in Congress. He came in on Gingrich’ coattails in 1994 and was defeated in 1996 by a teacher union goon, Nick Lampson. His behavior during that 2 year period caused significant embarrassment to those who lived in his district then.

Fast forward almost 20 years. Stockman ran a primary campaign that did not mention anything positive about his views. He ran a campaign that included numerous slanderous statements about genuine public servants who are also small business owners. He accused a sitting state Senator of the crime of having an official portrait taken in his Texas Senate office. I know, pretty heinous.

The idea that Stockman can be an effective U.S. Senator is ludicrous. There are several people considering a primary challenge to Cornyn. I genuinely support a primary challenge toward Cornyn as he is an embarrassment to Texans everywhere. I would hate that a Stockman candidacy might push a reasonable candidate from being able to compete in a runoff. Given Cornyn’s available resources, any skeletons in Stockman’s closet are certain to be exposed by Cornyn, rendering his challenge impotent.

I am sure there will be those who damn me for speaking negative of Stockman. Before you do that, please look at Stockman’s record and his past behaviors.
