  Yet another reason for Louisiana to despise Alabama. Tell you what ‘bama, ponder this nugget of info. The good mayor says it is to protect people in times of emergency, like hurricanes, tornados, etc when people get unruly. First who decides WHAT unruly is? Secondly, look back at Katrina when the police ddepartment was out committing crimes, stealing, looting, disarming innocent citizens, do some research on the NOPD and the crimes they committed during Katrina. So when the police disarm you to protect you, who is going to protect you FROM THEM?!?! You would all do well to tell the good mayor to politely kiss your ass, and pack her bags as she will be out of office at first chance along with any council member who votes for this.

  Doesn’t matter if he has a CWL or not, he was an idiot. What matters is that he should be punished to the fullest extent of the law for not following the law. Isnt that what we preach? If they would only enforce the laws we have now, we wouldn’t need new gun control (people control) laws. Well he used a gun in an act of violence where he was the aggressor, that alone should add time to any assault charge.

Perfect excuse, “there’s a mob of people running about, this guy throws a chair through the glass of my vehicle and I was in fear of my life and the lives of my passengers, and as the castle law pertains also to vehicles I was merely protecting our lives for what I feared may happen”

  Harrypooper, I’m sure youvwere one of the people clapping cheering when the waiter refused service to the dipstick making fun of the Downs syndrome boy saying special people need to be special somewhere else. Well if you can refuse service to someone being a complete asshat you can’t say you have to serve this one because you disagree with his line he drew. Open up a lgbt restaurant, sounds like there’s a market for it if the gays refuse to go to this establishment.
