No they don’t. There is no evidence of a causal link between the two. There has been a push to make that claim as an way to limit abortion, but it isn’t true.

Then they should fund themselves from State taxes, not federal funds.

Obama did show his birth certificate, and even if he didn’t his mother was from Kansas, that would make him eligible in exactly the same way Cruz is eligible
August 19, 2013 at 10:32am
These stories aren’t coming from the left. Check out the leftist websites like daily kos and you won’t see any of this garbage. We know that Cruz is eligible, his mother was a citizen, ergo he is a citizen. Just the same way the even if Obama wasn’t born in Hawaii (which he was) he’d have been a citizen by viture of his mother.

The police said they were automatic, not the media

Fight in court? isn’t this just one privately owned restaurant excruciating its rights? Honestly, given where Hill Country is located it is probably a business decision; losing more money by people not coming in than the rent an 10 people a week eating there.

Unless i’m mistaken, these are men that were already infected and the virus had already matured. Once they had the transplant, the virus was no longer present

first, if they close some 90% of the clinics they won’t “have 20″ second, there are a lot of reasons to terminate beyond just not wanting it, and further you neglect to take into account instances of rape and threat to the mother, or massive defects to the fetus.
But hey, it is a lot easier to just call the woman a slut and move on right?

You know the republican senate has set a record (by a huge margin) for filibusters right? That is what we call hypocrisy
June 26, 2013 at 1:28pm
The whole argument that was made against doma is that there shouldn’t be any line of distinction and that same sex couples should be treated like everyone else. By your logic, you should be applauding the ruling.

Arizona law got preempted by federal law, specifically the Motor Voter law. That case had nothing to do with the VRA
June 25, 2013 at 11:19am
First off, this ruling doesn’t allow the WH to come up with any new regulation, in fact all it does is strike down previous requirements for DOJ Preclearance for changes in election law.
Second, why would the President want to run in 2014 when his term isn’t over til 2016?
June 25, 2013 at 11:17am
That isn’t at all what this ruling did. In fact it just the opposite. It makes it easier to pass laws requiring ID. Please read / know something before you open your mouth and sound stupid.
June 25, 2013 at 11:15am
The VRA wasn’t “revised” section 4 was invalidated which means there is no longer a requirement for pre-clearance for changes in voting laws. This hurts democrats
June 25, 2013 at 11:14am
You people are idiots. This ruling made it easier for things like Voter ID…. YOUR SIDE WON. Stop complaining. Seriously, did any of you actually read what happened before coming to the comments to spew your nonsense?
Some of us are just cynical (me) because more than likely it will be turned against us in the future.
I don't believe the government would do anything to benefit anyone but themselves. It is replete with sociopaths and pocket-liner's. I have no confidence in government to have the country's best interests in mind.
It'll all collapse soon enough, I guess.
What ? Are you pissed off that finally the right thing is done.
'YOUR SIDE WON.'
And here is why we face so many obstacles in this world...
We are ALL ONE in the SAME...There should be NO SIDES...!! Only what is JUST for ALL...
Voter ID for all LEGAL citizens is NOT discrimination...

No, that number (157) was only that high because his name was on the list to be allowed in. In reality he only signed in 11 times. That doesn’t seem out of line to me.
Audits are normal, the question is, did they take away your Not-for-profit status? if not, i’m not sure what the fuss is. Regular audits make sure that people don’t abuse the system. If you are truly a NFP, which i’m guessing you are, then an audit shouldn’t be a problem

How does appointment by the State Legislature make them more answerable to the voters than direct elections? (hint: it doesn’t)
June 24, 2013 at 5:42pm
That is factually inaccurate.
June 4, 2013 at 2:54pm
I think you missed the point. You are supposed to come with you significant other and “pay” by kissing them, not some stranger or the staff.
