  it was a nice speech. he honored those who died and those who are still wounded. it was nice to see him give a short, effective speech without mentioning any sort of policy or legislation. very refreshing.

  it’s good most politicians have learned from the paul wellstone tragedy to not politicize these sorts of things; that “memorial” was an absolute disgrace.

  i never saw the avengers. i had never even heard of it until the weekend after it opened. how in the world did it make that much money? atleast 2 dozen movies just like it had been made before in the last 5 years alone.

  it killed a human, so I say it deserves to be hunted and killed. i don’t care if it was ‘being a shark.’ if that shark is known to be in that territory, you don’t just let it keep coming around. otherwise, nobody is going to want to swim there if sharks start killing people and nobody does anything about it. you have to kill it. also, when great white sharks are killed, a strong scent is sent from their flesh and is smelled by other sharks and is known to scare them away for miles. they think it’s a possible repellent.
