A lot of star pro athletes are nothing more than highly paid thugs that win games and make money for team owners. It’s too bad that one of these miscreants’ actions don’t come to light until someone is severely hurt or killed, the usual victim being a family member(s).
These player’s violent proclivities have been covered up from a very early age, the first time real athletic potential is perceived. They are treated as an ‘asset’ that must be protected for the schools’ coffers’ bottom lines from high school through college.
Then by the pros. After all XX million$$$ is quite an investment for any team owner.

BTW: Notice the look on Rice’s wife’s face. That is one abused woman who sticks around because she’s scared. No basis in fact, but that’s what she looks like to me. I’ve seen it before with other abused souses.

Should have been an ARMED ‘protest!’
The Narcotraficantes and coyotes have no fear of ‘peaceful’ protests, only brute force with shotgun blasts in their faces at the outset.
“We the People” have lost our intestinal fortitude and are being consumed.
All the border states, except Kalifornia, are ‘shall permit’ states so the populace is fairly well armed and can backup and enforce any peaceful protest with coordination with local LEOs.

I blame the MSM. They sowed the seeds of their own destruction through PC and neglect.
I ultimately blame “We the People” for allowing the travesty.
We took our finger off the button and allowed ‘bread and circuses’ rule our lives and didn’t pay attention to what is important to our survival as a culture and a nation.

“….[M]ilitants have threatened to cut out the tongue of anyone who uses the name, saying it shows disrespect and defiance.”
    Hmmm, ‘shows disrespect and defiance.’
    YA THINK???!!!

‘Shall’ or ‘Must’ approve legislation is the only proper weapons’ carry legislation.

‘May’ is an escape clause for denying a permit for any perceived negative. Also wide open for bribery.
Maybe Mr. Stossel didn’t bring enough $$$ to the issuing authority’s table.

Betcha if a prominent Progressive like a Sharpton, et. al., would have been approved immediately. Hell, they are already carrying, sans permit, as they know they’re untouchable, especially with this Department of Jokes (DOJ) in charge.

I know this is not happening just in Austin but Austin government/politics seem to be unusually eaten up with the dumbass in comparison to the rest of the State. The City of Austin gives Texas a bad name.
Though billed as a ‘non-issue’ Ms. Roy should have tried to sue. This incident was out of bounds.
Also, Ms. Roy should start looking for the nosy parker neighbor that made the first DPS call and go smack the beoitch in the friggin’ mouth!

Cummings is an Obamabot and has, at the outset, been spouting the White House line.
He’s a ‘True Believer’ that no amount of facts/truths will ever sway.

Hey, Congress, are y’all REALLY that STUPID???
Where is the crystal ball that tells you who the friggin’ friendly/moderates are?
I, for one, have seen NO evidence of ANY friendlies in the entire Middle Ease other than Israel, which we are fast alienating and losing.
    This is beyond incompetence.

If you idiots wish to appropriate funds for something war like: PULL ALL OUR TROOPS OUT OF THE MIDDLE EAST! Then bring them home for some real Homeland Security. Screw the oil and let the warring tribes of the Middle East of the past 5,000 years, Allah notwithstanding, kill each other off and keep us out of it.
    Naïve, I know, but I can dream can’t I?

That would be an appropriations bill I could get behind.

Notice Mr. Young stated that the State Department has the authority to revoke the passports in question but are failing to do so.
With this administration, don’t hold your breath for any revocations. They’re Islamists one and all.

The blacks in Ferguson and elsewhere are just itching to foment another ’92 Watts.
Their actions are right in line with the Oval Office/DOJ (JOKE Department) and the poverty pimps (Jackson/Sharpton, et. al.) thinking.
I think a Martial Law declaration is their ultimate aim.
Be careful what you wish for, guys. A minority of the military/Guard units are non-whites and will have guns that could easily be turned in a direction you neither expect nor desire, which is the reason for the gun ban effort.
Seems passing strange that white’s use of fire arms come under scrutiny, whereas nary a peep when use by non-whites is involved.

Where are the freakin’ generals? Why are they not objecting to this bit of offal?

It’s bad enough our troops are going in harm’s way sans bullets, etc., now they have to fight things only observable by a microscope!

This is beyond stupid; it’s damned well criminal!

    NO BILL!!!

“We the People” of Houston can’t count on it.
DAs across the country are so et up with the dumbass they’ll indict just for spite or to make a name for their worthless selves (See Travis County, TX) and/or to waste tax payers’ dollars.

My mom and/or dad would grab a willow branch switch and chastise my **** all the time.
A Hell of a lot less lethal than a slap or fist across the chops. Not to mention a lot more memorable as it was done right out in the embarrassing open in front of neighbors.
I wholeheartedly believe in Franklin’s admonition: ‘Spare the rod; spoil the child.’
Now the boy knows he can go running to the Nanny State (and now the NFL) to have his dad punished for applying a bit of discipline to his young ass.
This is mild and should be a family issue.

    This seems rather fortuitous.
This could have been taken anywhere, any time.
    I see jury pool tampering.

Thank you Senator Ted Cruz for standing up and being counted in defense of the Judeo-Christian beliefs which our country was built around.
It’s about time someone in DC did so.
These so-called Middle Eastern Christians needed to be called on their persecution and ‘tolerance’ of Islam’s persecution of the Jews.
So soon you forget: Christ was a Middle Eastern Jew, you idiots!

I wonder how the snail darters are faring since the Sierras forced us to put them on the endangered list.
Haven’t heard of the Snail Darter? Neither have I since it stopped several dam projects over the past 30 years.
    For the Sierras?: ‘Mission accomplished!’

Tobacco taxes have severely curtailed its sales in the US of A.
International sales are the only things keeping US tobacco companies afloat.
This should be a lesson to “We the People”: If wish to ruin any enterprise, tax it to the max.
Using a campaign of “For the Children,” of course, which has proven time and time again to work against the desires of the voting public.

Sheriffs across the entire country are advising citizens ‘get armed’ because of pi$$ poor response times due to shortsighted cutbacks.
To Quote the CAG in ‘Top Gun’: “We don’t HAVE five minutes; this thing will be over in three!”

In the case of a home break in, one may only have three SECONDS!

I think her husband could have taught her better by stressing shooting at ‘center mass’ until the attacker is on the friggin’ ground. Then bury the SOB!

Hopefully this miscreant doesn’t get out and look for revenge.

“Mexico is one of the United States’ most important partners.”

    Say: WHAT???
Enemies are unnecessary when we have ‘partners’ such as this.
Jayzus, “We the People,” wake the Hell up.
Mexico is NOT our friend, nor are most of the rest of the world’s countries.
We are on our own until the present administration is history and we can get a real, dyed in the wool AMERICAN in the Oval Office.

Hey, Judge, ever heard or read about the 10th Amendment to the US Constitution?
    Obviously NOT!
Hey lawyers of Texas fighting this ‘decision’: As far as I can tell, not being a lawyer, the 10th is ‘Black Letter’ law and MUST be upheld.
There is your appeal. Go for it!!!
Forget all the lawyerly “definition of ‘is’ is,” bull sh**!
