J-Mo God in the Old Testament gives His Law and promises to bless those who follow it and punish those who do not. He keeps His promise. Just like today He uses people to both bless and punish. The Bible tells us this: And now have I given all these lands into the hand of Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon, my servant; and the beasts of the field have I given him also to serve him. Jeremiah 27:6. At this time Nebuchadnezzar was not a believer in the God of Israel, but God used him to punish Israel for their lack of worship of Him.Yes, there is violence in the Old Testament, but God is in control of it all. He created us and He has the right and power to do as He sees fit for each and every one of us.

I have heard this argument time and time again. “Christians are Marxists”. I ask this Muslim, just how many hospitals did Islam build? How many orphanages did Islam build? Where is the love in Islam???? The main difference between Marxism and Christianity. Marxism, the government takes the money from the rich and redistributes it as it sees best. Christianity, the rich person gives the money as he or she sees best. Christians see it as a personal choice.

Let’s see if I understand this. Because they take a stand against the democrat leadership of the city, they have to have their speeches, sermons and other things said from the pulpit approved by the city leadership. I don’t remember reading that in the first amendment of the Constitution. Another point is that if they speak against the leadership of the city, they somehow forfeit their right to religious freedom. I believe this is what Stan Laurel would say is, “bounding over your steps”.

“They see [Christians] divided. We have over 40,000 denominations. It’s staggering.” Most of those 40.000 are Christians in name only. Christians are those who have accepted Christ’s death for their sins and repented and named Jesus as their Lord. There are not 4 or 5 Gospels there is only one. Paul explained the Gospel in 1 Corinthians For I delivered to you as of first importance what I also received: that Christ died for our sins in accordance with the Scriptures, that he was buried, that He was raised on the third day in accordance with the Scriptures, and that He appeared to Cephas, then to the twelve. Then He appeared to more than five hundred brothers at one time, most of whom are still alive, though some have fallen asleep. Then He appeared to James, then to all the apostles. Last of all, as to one untimely born, He appeared also to me. 1 Corinthians 15:2-8 When Christian allow nonbelievers define our beliefs we get things like this. And, based on his statements I think that Bobby Conway is a nonbeliever.

I’m sure the child will be truly touched by the letter when they are old enough to read and understand it. Oh, yea, the child will be dead and will not be able to read it or understand it. It is like the child who kills his parents and writes them a letter explaining the reason they are dead. The insanity of abortion is beyond belief.

15:24 Whensoever I take my journey into Spain, I will come to you: for I trust to see you in my journey, and to be brought on my way thitherward by you, if first I be somewhat filled with your company. Romans 15:24. Also, there is a letter from Clement of Rome to the church in Corinth in 69 A.D. that states that Paul reached Spain. There is other documentation that shows that Paul reached Spain in his life time. In stead of the world rethinking their history of Christians in Spain, I think the Archeologists need to rethink their knowledge of history themselves.

How can this be brought into public schools? It is teaching a religion. Where are the liberals crying , “separation of church and state”? Oh, what am I thinking, it is the state religion of the current regime in America.

@progresiveslayer, I agree with you. “Boo, hoo” Try having the first name of “Clyde” and being joked and ridiculed all your life. You just live with it and consider the source. You are you and let it go.

Oh yes, Jesus hated rich people so much that He died on the Cross for their sins. Jesus died for Reza Aslan’s sins as well. Dr. Asian just needs to accept that free gift and become saved.

We have all seen the edict that says you must read the Bible in this hotel room. “No nonreligious hotel guests should have to pay high prices to be proselytized in the privacy of their own bedrooms,” Annie Laurie Gaylor, co-president of the atheist group, said in a statement. “The Bible calls for killing nonbelievers, apostates, gays, ‘stubborn sons,’ and women who are not virgins on their wedding nights.” That statement shows just how ignorant Annie Laurie Gaylor is. She seems to be just parroting something she was told and doesn’t know that it was meant for Jewish people in the Old Testament and not for present day people.

12:7 And lest I should be exalted above measure through the abundance of the revelations, there was given to me a thorn in the flesh, the messenger of Satan to buffet me, lest I should be exalted above measure. 12:8 For this thing I besought the Lord thrice, that it might depart from me. 12:9 And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. 2 Corinthians 12:7-9 I’m not saying that Paul was a homosexual, but he had his problems and prayed about it. God didn’t relieve him of it. He glorified Himself through it. Vicky Beeching should have taken these verses to heart and let God Glorify Himself through her in her refusing to yield to sin.

I just don’t know who he has been in contact with. My Pastor preaches the Bible every week. My thinking of his comments is that he needs to separate from The World. Billy Graham joined The World to make his crusades larger. He had Catholic Priests and others who just are worshipers of Jesus Christ on the platform with him. Some of his own denomination, Presbyterian, have gone so far to the left as to condone Homosexual Marriage. Clean your own house, Pastor, before you preach to others.

“We’ve also seen some of the bloodiest weekends in the history of this country in places like Chicago where it was a veritable war zone over the fourth of July,” he continued. “There were dozens of people killed and injured in just one weekend.” Wow, what a statement!! I guess he just forgot to mention that Chicago has one of the strongest anti-gun laws in the country.

It always amazes me how ungodly sinners seem to know what Jesus would do if He were on the earth, today. His statement “If Jesus were alive today…” shows just how litter he knows. The press should ignore any of his statements of Christianity the same way they ignore all the foot in the mouth that Joe Biden makes. They both make as much sense on the subjects that they talk about.

Despite intense disagreement, the letter urged Christians not to respond in any way “that would mar the image of Christ.” The amendment itself “mars the image of Christ”. America is in the situation it is in because of things like this. God destroyed tow cities because He couldn’t find 10 righteous people in them. He is punishing America for it’s acceptance of homosexuality.

God sets the leaders in power that He chooses. Or, He lets the people have what they want. In the Bible the people of Israel demanded that God give them a King. They saw Saul, a man who stood “head and shoulders” above all others. So, God gave them Saul as King. Were was Saul? He was hiding in the luggage. The Americans demanded a President of their own choosing. So, God game us Obama. Where was he? He was in the Senate hiding behind a vote of “Present”. We god what we wanted. President Obama isn’t a leader, he is a community organizer. He is a “pot stirrer”, he stands back and sees how the wind is blowing. Our social morals are at a all time low and we are trying to hide from God. That is imposable, but we try. Why should God help us who turn away from Him? I know we are not Israel, His chosen people, but many of us are His children, but just like Israel under Ahab in Israel, the good suffer with the bad.

Gen 1:29 is before the fall. Before sin entered the world. If the world was perfect as it was at the time Gen 1:29 is said, then I would have no problem legalizing Marijuana. But the World is far from that sinless state and therefore I appose the legalizing of the drug. If you are going to use the Bible to prove your point, you need to understand the context of the verse. State Sen. Constance Johnson’s statement just proves her ignorance of the Bible and should embarrass her.

So, that explains why they stole china and other things from the White House to make ends meet. Remember that the government had to send secret service people to New York to retrieve the stolen property.
