  Marriage is and has been in decline for years. This will simply give the Dems a way to finally say they are helping families. “Look, under Dems, marriage has actually gone up a little. Wow. Yay for the Dems.”. I think we SHOULD let them have marriage. Why should straight guys be the only people suffering? Besides that, when Courts start trying to figure out who gets the kids in “Gay Marriages”. Will they try to decide which man is the more feminine? Will they try to decide which woman is the more masculine and should pay child support? It will help real Fathers who try and fight for time with their kids. The last statistic I saw was that only 11% of Fathers get custody in contested cases, and those guys have to be wealthy or she has to be REALLY messed up..
