Well at least the last two letters apply…..BS, and the P probably stands for Petty.

Way to go Mr. Spieth, well done, well done indeed….I’m from Pennsylvania, but let me give it a try ….hook em horns.

Bullying, plain and simple. The left rails against bullying in our schools, yet they are the ones who use this tactic more than anyone else. Good on you Mr. Cumberworth, and thank you and your son for giving your time and efforts for this Great County.

…..yet another example of what our public schools produce.

Amen, a lot of great memories….

1776, man you got a lot of choices as your favorite Steeler, might I ask who’s number one…Greene, Bradshaw, Franco, Swann, LC, Ham, Lambert, Blount, The Bus, Webster, etc, etc, etc……? For me I gotta go with Lambert, Bradshaw second, Troy third…..

Yes Sarge, he deserves a first ballot entry, considering some of the recent questionable entries not only in the football hof, but in other sports hof entries….

Troy, thanks for the memories… you sir are the real deal, both on and off the field. Class….
All great things must come to an end. Troy is one of my all time Stillers favorites. Troy will be missed. Next stop for Troy is definitely Canton. Damn great player and clean record, no drugs, assault, domestic abuse and all the other stuff. ;(
As Coach Noll put it...
"I used to tell the players that professional football is a part-time profession. I used to tell them it gets you ready for your life's work."
Here's to you and your life's work Troy.
Wood, yes he is. It was time, however. He was injured almost as much as he played over the last several years. Great guy!
His free lancing in the secondary was the main reason the Steelers could not make playoffs. He is just like Romo from Denver who team mates talk about how Romo would leave his coverage to bitx
wood: "Troy", a class act from start to finish. He will be long remembered and dearly missed. Now the NFL "Hall of Fame" beckons. I predict a first ballot entry.
You know the Christ reference is driving the libs over at ESPN nuts !
Troy gave it all that he had for all of his football career. He is smart enough to realize that, as far as football is concerned, he is "used up". Quiting now is a smart move.
As a Cowboy fan, I'm always glad when great players retire from other teams. Seriously though, good for him. He's got nothing left to prove.
He was a great player will certainly get into the HOF, but lets cut to the chase. I doubt that this was voluntary.
He would have been expensive to keep on the roster and with his many recent injuries may not have even made the team this year. After seeing what the Steelers did to HInes Ward a couple of years ago, I'm sure that he read the handwriting on the wall. Better to retire than be cut.
Your one of my favorite Steelers, Troy. It was a pleasure watching you play. I was fortunate to be able to see you play in person a few times - I will always remember your dedication to excellence. God speed - and have a wonderful life!
I love that he was so clean! No drugs, abuse, rape, molesting, or any of that crap! Second favorite Steeler ever! he defines what it means to be Steeler. Unfortunately, his standard is not met by everybody else on the team...I'm lookin at you, Bell!

Jimmy Fallon’s a tool…. he’s one of the most overrated, over hyped people in show business.

Golf Digest is a hollow shell of this once great golf magazine. Every issue it’s different moronic celebrity gloating about how great they are for the game of golf….give me a break…at least with this cover we get a golfer and a wee bit more….still not impressed.
