Better yet, Huey – Boomers don’t write and make law – politicians do. I resent the politicians being given a pass and the blame being placed on victims.

    From HERITAGE –
“… But the worst is yet to come: The Congressional Budget Office projects that public debt will reach an economy-crushing 100 percent in less than one generation. Unlike the unpredicted drop in U.S. fiscal health brought about by the recent recession, this time, structural problems are driving the decline.”

“Those “structural problems” Boccia mentioned are on display in the chart above. The federal budget is structured around entitlement programs—and they don’t leave room for much else. Here’s a sobering thought: “The federal government could cease all other operations, including its core constitutional duty to provide for the national defense, and would still end up in a fiscal hole within a generation.”

Included in the Heritage Article, is a clear explanation of “Income Security and Other ‘Benefits’ ” to wit –
“These additional “income security” benefits include federal employee retirement and disability, unemployment benefits, and welfare programs such as food and housing assistance. Obamacare spending didn’t really kick in until 2014, so that will show up in next year’s breakdown.”

I’ve been on a borrowed computer all week and can rarely post, but logged on (again!) just to say ‘Thanks’. Most of us love dogs in general, but WE KNOW THEIR PLACE. Excellent post.

    from Ben Stein –

“Fathom the hypocrisy of a government that requires every citizen to prove they are insured…but not everyone must prove they are a citizen.” Now add this, “Many of those who refuse, or are unable to prove they are citizens will receive free insurance paid for by those who are forced to buy insurance because they are citizens.”

Come to think of it, Foo, who’s to say that this prog wasn’t paid by supporters of Cantor?

He’s mimicking the Obammy campaign – catering to The Stupid.

That’s gross, yet amazing Joy! I also enjoyed reading PrfctlyFranks post (next one following mine) which was very interesting.

I appreciate your opinion, @MythrilDragon, it’s just that, to me, there’s more to this story than necessary; the details are just too much for me to believe. I could (but won’t yet) go for the dog acting funny upon sensing a tumor, but to claim the dog was responding positively to a successful operation, upon her return, is giving the dog super-canine comprehension, imho.

  • April 6, 2014 at 11:53am

I don’t know – peanuts? Ask Obammy – his crap is all over us.

  • April 6, 2014 at 11:49am

Absolutely right, Soul. For example, Venezuela is descending into chaos – http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worldnews/southamerica/venezuela/10746775/Caracas-chaos-Venezuelan-general-on-the-run.html

Add to that the CIA guy that jumped, as reported on the Blaze. The last paragraph of the story indicates the CIA was funneling arms to Libyan militants to ship to Al-Qaeda in Syria – http://freebeacon.com/national-security/cia-official-dies-in-apparent-suicide/

And while OBAMMY is acting like he’s got his panties up in a bunch about the Russian conquest in Crimea, he’s GIVING the Russians FREE ADVANCED U.S. LASER TECHNOLOGY – http://www.judicialwatch.org/blog/2014/03/u-s-gives-russia-free-military-equipment-used-by-army-marines/

I’d love for TheBlaze to catch up on current events…but it’s Sunday…

    Close, @Ka-bar.
I’m saying that the dog had to be trained, and if he was, it was omitted from the story, making it appear as if the dog acted as he did entirely on his own. Whether it’s good or not is a matter of opinion, and I haven’t given anyone mine on that.

  • April 6, 2014 at 11:39am

Consider the dogs alleged negative reaction to his ‘discovery’, and alleged positive reaction to a successful operation.

Eh-que me? Is the dog a medical savant? Haha! If anything, what this owner did was clever – she may get her$10k for an appearance on “Oprah” and her audience of ‘brilliant’ observers!

I have my doubts. Unless this dog was trained to detect a cancer, and respond to it like it did, I’m not going to believe it.

Very touching. Folks like The_Monk try and do a good turn on a daily basis, and expect nothing in return. The man in the commercial DOES get recognition; many would be surprised at the effect a sincere “Thank you” can have on ones spirit and morale.

Something I doubt a Lib will NEVER experience, because their idea of ‘doing good’ comes at the expense of others, of good people. Are you better off today than you were 5years ago? Is our Country a better place than it was 5yrs. ago? Is the World a better place than it was 5yrs ago?*

    Excrement – it rolls downhill…

    (*Yes, I’m relentless towards enemies)
