Add MORE to what you said, Watcher…I’m beyond words. I don’t believe what I’m reading. They’re ought to be a Freedom Fatwah issued against her lawyer…

Good morning, Run! IMHO, it never was good advice. The more perps get wind of resistance, the more apt they are to think of better ways of staying alive.

Remember several decades in Massachusetts, when they passed a “retreat” law…they repealed it six months later, when it became customary for perps to expect homeowners to retreat while they burglarized their homes. Ol’ Dead Ted “Erah” Kennedy really loved that law…sniff…

    Bill ‘who’, Papa?

@Obozo – I imagine the defniition to mean anything that won’t travel up the poop in the wrong direction painlessly, but being of sound mind, body and nature, I wouldn’t know.

Not the crimes, your Highness – the logic.

A person close to me just joined the Army; I did what I could, but I wasn’t going to twist his arm…

Reminded me of this joke i heard long ago:

A Soldier and a Marine are standing next to each other in the can. as they get ready to leave, the Soldier stops by the sink and calls out to the Marine as he’s heading out the door – “In the Army, they teach us to wash our hands before leaving the restroom!”

To which the Marine replies “In the Marine Corps, they teach us not to pee on our hands!”

    Semper Fi!

  • [3] January 28, 2015 at 11:26am

Oooh yeah; can’t wait until that’s applied to jailing inmates for murder, theft, vandalism…

I agree with you, Reaganator, but that’s not what is at issue here. It’s one thing for the Ford motor company to be non-discriminatory in employment practices, but it’s an entirely different thing to be openly promoting an abnormal sexually deviant unhealthy abhorrent lifestyle as company policy.

    I’ll second that notion!

    Semper Fi!

Ohhh sheeet! I’m glad I had put my coffee cup down!! Still laughing!

  • [1] January 28, 2015 at 10:49am

I get it Kupo; MY point is “How would you know?” If the studies are out there, I haven’s seen or heard of them – have you?

It’s more than just ‘one is safer than the other’ – the grand jury findings on that topic are obviously being kept under wrap, while the mop-up continues on cigarette smokers. The State isn’t done yet; on the other hand, if it’s as dangerous as they make it out to be, with the help of acolytes like Jon Street, then…why is it not banned?

There are fed laws against pot importation, growing, distribution, using, – to include paraphernalia – all over a product that’s “safer” than the known addictive killer, the cigarette!

Why isn’t it banned if it’s so dangerous, that even smoking in your own condominium has been banned in some areas – “second-hand” and even THIRD-hand smoke has been declared dangerous by those that want to make us believe they’re “in-the-know” – yet we know so little about something that’s been legalized in many States IN SPITE OF FED LAWS?

Dazed and confused populace is better for governments up to no good.

Not just to Tigress’ point, Soul-man, but assuming cigarette smokers smoke two-packs per day is a leap. When I smoked (I quit cold-turkey decades ago, but that’s another story), I’d sometimes do half a pack on some days, more on others, and also often go without. One day, I got up grabbed some coffee, lit one up and exclaimed “Man, this thing tastes like $h!t!” and gave it up right there. Never looked back. It was easy – because I Wanted TO QUIT.

    Yes – JUST like that.

  • [4] January 28, 2015 at 10:30am

The “average only smokes “a couple” per day?!?

How would that look on your medical file? If you’re a “part-time” smoker of cigarettes – just a couple of sticks per day – you’re condemned in your medical file until you report that you quit.

I suppose marijuana smokers are given a pass – I wouldn’t know because I don’t smoke – my concern is loss of Liberty.

  • [6] January 28, 2015 at 10:26am

Right on, Barber! No one mentions marijuana smoking, because it’s “cool” – meaning you’ll be shut down in the harshest ways if you dare to speak against it. The dangers of pot smoking, in comparison to smoking cigarettes are pretty obvious:

The public is not told of the gases one is inhaling into the lungs without a filter; not nearly as much as those of cigarette smoke. Ditto the long term effects of hot gases singing the lips mouth and throat. They barely touch on the destructive nature of marijuana smoking to the brain and the cells that compose it; let alone the effects of inhaling unfiltered smoke into the lungs.

Then there’s driving while high. Some States don’t consider it driving under the influence (I’m assuming that from a police reality show, where a driver was pulled over, found to be smoking and in possession, whipped out her “med” card, and was sent on her way).

Then there’s the price to Freedom. Whip out a joint on a fairly packed beach, light it up, and gauge the response. Next, whip out a cigarette. The difference measures the effectiveness of government and social conditioning.

It was just a few years ago, where the toe-hold of intrusion into your homes, was established in the segregation of smoking/non-smoking sections of airlines.

“…Golan Heights last week that killed six Hezbollah operatives and six Iranians, including senior Hezbollah commander Jihad Mughniyeh and Iranian Gen. Mohammad Ali Allahdadi.”

Six Iranians including an Iranian General? WTF were they doing there – certainly not to gain experience. Iran is steeped in the war against Israel, sending advisers to Lebanon. The other casualty was a citizen/soldier of the world, with allegiance to nothing, but his death will be blamed on Israel by the Jew-hating UN.

I hope the Israeli’s can hold out until an American president is elected, otherwise I fear that an Israeli attack on Iran will be met with challenges from the WH, to include the open arming of those sworn to our destruction – of COURSE it’s going on clandestinely…

Remember Benghazi! Obammy and Hillary Lied and US citizens and soldiers were left to die!

    Good morning, BBQ!

The article never mentioned whether Caillou is the boys real name or screen name. Either way, you’re right – he needs to shake it off, and I agree with the way the young Miss told him so. Dealing with the teasing is part of growing up – ditto getting punched (assuming it is not abuse). My “bullying” didn’t stop until the day I got hold of my bully and lit him up – I got my arse kicked, but he never bullied me again! On the other hand, the way they’re being raised today doesn’t prepare them for the rough spots in life – which they WILL have – except to handle them as “metrosexuals”…

Have you seen those – half effeminate / half masculine heteros? Jiminy Crickets…

  • [5] January 28, 2015 at 9:45am

That’s exactly how I felt while reading the article, Slap – the comments by the reporters are top-shelf elitist.

    Good morning!

Politics make for strange bedfellows. Obammy the anti-Semitic gaymeister sends his progeny to unseat a real Man that isn’t afraid to stand up to him; Obammy takes an action like many weak men with power would take, and weak-willed/minded or greedy Semites accept the favor.

  • [8] January 27, 2015 at 11:37am

All well and good, but don’t expect ANYTHING to be resolved re: Benghazi and other illegal activities. The ONLY reason the subject is alive, is because too many American citizens want answers, many more than the Congress can dismiss.

The Repubies have had ample time to gather evidence on this and other lawlessness, yet they’re still seeking hearings and other time-wasting practices, killing time until the presidential election races are in full swing.

Then we’ll get a boatload of promises from the candidates, all swearing to get to the bottom of these dastardly deeds, and then, nothing…

Everything will probably all be drowned out when the financiers decide to cash in their chips after a Republican or RepubicRat is elected, and the economy tanks to where even the media can no longer sustain the lie, as is the current status of news…

My thoughts the same – what’s in it for DeBlasio, the god-less communist…?
