    AGREED 100%

  • October 9, 2013 at 9:19am

As a grandmother, I cannot fathom anyone hurting my lil babies EVER, much less myself! God help this godforsaken Country. It is right about now, that the OT laws look pretty good…..’an eye for an eye….etc’, I say bring out the sledgehammer!

  • September 25, 2013 at 10:13am

Agreed! That’s what I said……”Once a Marine, always a Marine”….there are no former Marines. Period!

  • September 25, 2013 at 10:12am

YES! This is the way a responsible individual can and does carry, and can use at the appropriate time! How thankful his aunt is, and himself for the freedom they have (right now) to do so! This is our right! Why can’t stories like this go viral, and turn the ideas of the media? …because believe you me, if it was them/their family…..they would be happy that their Marine saved their life!

So thankful for that Marine! Semper Fidelis…..ALWAYS faithful! Way to go Oorah! I have an 18 year old Marine myself, and I have no doubt he would have done the exact same thing. Many blessings to you and on your life.

To: Thevoiceoftheplurality: I say, really? Please stop and consider your logic. If I follow it right then, we shouldn’t allow teenagers EVER to go shopping in any store or mall, because they WILL steal. We should no longer sell liquor anywhere at anytime because someone under the influence is going to get into a car today and take someone else’s life. I could list more, but please do not be so simplistic to think that ‘just because’ someone owns a gun, and legally even, that they are going to misuse it. The fact is there are faulty people in this world, some by birth, and some by circumstances that fashioned them, some even by their upbringing. Our nature, as people is sinful, and unless we are Governed by God, we will be left to our own futile thoughts, ideals, and convictions….and most of the time they are faulty.

We DO have the right to bear arms, and I am thankful for that. This man had issues that were never addressed, and perhaps even overlooked. With that said, that still doesn’t mean because one person has an anger issue….we take everyone else’s guns away! We live in hard times, and crazy people aren’t going away. No doubt this will continue to happen, so I believe I have the right to have my gun by my side if perhaps one day I am face to face with criminal! I am also thankful for the myriad of other stories previously posted of other law abiding citizens ‘living out their rights’ who were able to save themselves, defend themselves, or save another!

@ Rangerskippy : I am sorry to hear/read of your shallow legalistic views. It is so comforting to know that there is but ONE God, and He judges righteously and fairly. You have tried, judged, and condemned this band and you know nothing about them!
“What do we have, that we have not received from God”?…….music is a gift, NOT everyone can do it.
This group loves God, proclaims Christ, uses their opportunities within their realm, their spectrum to share Jesus when the opportunity arises. WHO are you to judge? NOw just because you dont like that genre of music, and perhaps you dont like wearing black, BUT does that make them Satanic? Does that make them puppets of Satan? Please! How shallow is your faith? Or better, how big is our God?
It is God who looks on the “inward” parts, and judges the thoughts and intents of the heart……and one day Skillet will stand before God, and give an account for what they have done…..and I am sorry, but I believe it will be: “well done, good and faithful servants”! I have seen them in concert, and I will tell you the music is loud, it is driving, the visual is spectacular, but I have also worshipped with them. We are told to test the spirits, and to be discerning. I have been a Christian long enough to see what is flesh, and to see hearts of people who desire to make a difference in this society with the talents they have, in a way that I cannot, without compromising their faith, or their message. So, to that I say God bless

The “couple” as noted has no sense of a moral code or etiquette to begin with….so anything that gets dished out is based on their lack of a solid foundation, or moral compass. It is also obvious that they are the new and improved version of the “entitlement” culture, nice huh? Rude, Selfish, Self-seeking, Unthankful, Ungrateful, Disrespectful, and so on. It is truly nauseating!

As for the gift giver……it was creative, it took time, effort, thought, and energy to put it together, and it was very nice of you, kudos to you! Unfortunately this is one of those times where you don’t win no matter what, but God sees your heart, and He will reward you in due time.

    Its NOT the same world!

  • June 20, 2013 at 10:03am

Totally agree, I do not let my 12 year old boy out of my sight, because unfortunately they are just as much at risk as the girls….and he is the last of 6 kids. We didn’t allow sleepovers either, unless it was close family that we trusted. We never gave a rip what others thought, we KNOW the world and all its perverseness, and we chose to protect our children from all of that stuff…..and now that they are grown…not ONE of them have scars, or horror stories of molestation, etc. Protect YOUR kids! It’s your job!

  • June 17, 2013 at 9:07am

This is what happens when there are no dads, moms that work fulltime….and young boys left to themselves. It is pathetically tragic!

  • June 17, 2013 at 8:55am

That was an absolute embarrassment to women….even Scripture says: “even a fool, when they are silent people will think they are wise”. She would have been better to bow out gracefully and be honest….and just say, I don’t know, I’d have to THINK about that.

  • March 13, 2013 at 11:12am

Uuummm excuse me, Blasberry…..but your comment is JUST not true! Do not broadbrush ALL preachers daughters! I happen to be the preacher’s wife, and have raised 4 daughters, all grown, and all wound up being godly, respectable young ladies. They were all virgins on their wedding nights (not because we locked them up with a ball and chain) but because we instilled in them godly principles from the time they were born, and all throughout life. We lived godly lives ourselves, and did not live a life of hypocricy. I do believe that is where the breakdown is….if mom and dad don’t LIVE it, neither will they….and even in that, there is no guarantee because everyone has a choice.

So you might want to recant on your statement, because it is simply NOT true!

**and people say they believe in evolution huh?** This American Idol show has digressed to a circus freak show! I wouldn’t waste 5 minutes watching that show this year, what an embarrassment to our Country, our children, our families. I don’t know what is worse, her rendition and freakish show, or the 4 idiotic judges that “actually” let her walk through?!

  • January 22, 2013 at 10:35am

Agreed….I couldn’t stomach to watch it either, and YES there is very much discrimination now in this country….especially if you are white, Christian, married to the opposite sex, have a job, and God forbid homeschool your kids, Oh yeah, and don’t forget…..own a gun!

  • January 22, 2013 at 10:32am

    Where are the white people?

We never had our kids believe in the whole Santa Claus thing either, and they all turned out just fine. In fact Christmas is our favorite day as a family. They always referred to him as the “Clown” hahahaha…..it didn’t affect the magic or wonder, or thrill of Christmas for any of them. We always told them the truth. Our convictions were such, that we did not want to lie to our kids about Santa, Easter Bunny, Tooth Fairy etc….and then tell them, BUT Jesus is real……and we believe in Him!
