  I live in WV in Logan County WV. (where the young man was suspended for wearing his NRA shirt to Logan Middle School) but I know McDowell County very well. The above story is totally true concerning the conditions that exist there today. However, this is nothing new. It has been going on since the late 1970′s and early 1980′s. I believe the largest disadvantage in McDowell County today is a lack of any type of a four lane highway in or out of the area. Without suitable transportation, no major investment is ever going to be made in this isolated part of the State. These “feelgood” programs are not going to work. They have been tried in the past and only create more dependency and poverty. There is a roadway proposed to run from Huntington, WV to Bluefield, WV called the King Coal Highway and Coalfield Expressway (part of the I73 & I74 corridor) that will go directly through McDowell County. But guess what? The environmental “progressives” oppose the road and say it’s not needed.   I live in WV and I say Joe Manchin is for Joe Manchin. He is using the gungrabbing issue to enhance his political power and stature in the Progressive Party (Democrat). In my opinion he wants to be considered for a vice presidental candidate in 2016 and is using emotional issues to appear bi-partisian and common sense to his progressive/marxist buddies. He claims to be a part of Mayor Dumbergs “no labels” party. Yeah Right! Remember this is the same guy who was elected Governor for a second term and quit to assume the Senate seat vacated by Robert Byrds’ death. He also the one who squeaked by a victory in the Senate special election by shooting Obamas’ cap and trade bill with a rifle and touted being endorsed by the NRA.(2010) http://youtu.be/xIJORBRpOPM This was just shortly after he signed a WV cap and trade bill into law in WV known as the Alternative and Renewable Energy Portfolio Act as Governor. (2009) He is a purely slick self serving politician and fits right in with Washington DC.   I am from Logan WV and my son went to that very school a few years ago. It is a hotbed of liberal/ progressive/marxist teachers. He also had trouble similar to this crap when he was in this school. Logan High School in the background is totally different. By the way the statue in the pic is a WWI doughboy with a 1903 springfield rifle. How ironic. It’s a wonder that they don’t try to suspend the doughboy for being provocative to the poor libs. Glad to see this young man and mostly the entire county standing up to this garbage.   I live in WV and Joe Manchin is a fraud. He ran a commercial in his election campaign showing him (Manchin) shooting Obama’s cap & trade bill with a high powered rifle. This was right after he signed a cap & trade bill in 2009 as Governor of WV. It is called the Alternative and Renewable Energy Portfolio Standard. I have not to talked to anyone who supports this latest boondoggle POS background check proposal. I think “How low will you go Joe” wants to impress the progressive/marxists in the national democratic party in order to advance his political career perhaps as being considered a vice presidental candidate in 2016. He has calculated the people of WV will forget about this gun control measure when he comes up for relection to his senate senate in 2018. However sad, he is probably right about that.

  Tom Arnold Barr is indeed a moron. However, Bill “know it all” O’Reiley is another misinformed, low information, elistist spokesman moran for certain gun control he likes. He spouts off about not needing the high capacity magazines, gun registration, FBI being informed about anyone who buys or owns “heavy weapons” (AR’s or AK’s [LOL heavy weapon]) and being OK with individual States passing restrictive gun control laws instead of supporting our 2nd Amendment. All these talking heads who have armed security and know nothing about firearms should STFU and leave the rest of us alone.
