Video Captures Apparent Scuffle with Police After Man Tries Filming Citation for Smoking on the Sidewalk: Cell Phones Can Be ‘Converted Into Weapons’
April 11, 2013 at 11:49am
They do not have any probable cause to check his cellphone, shoes have been made into bombs, but they did not take his off. How can we police the police if we cannot film? They film the general public all of the time to protect themselves, if they have that right we do too because all rights given to government were given to us by God and extended to government via our consent. The natural right to self defense does not start or end with the 2nd amendment. What do the police have to hide? In the internet age the first amendment specifically protects this(in my opinion). To borrow from the left, “you are a racist” if you oppose the right to film the police because minorities are more likely to be arrested and abused by them (think Rodney King). I am a old white Republican, I know that the police powers are strictly limited by the Constitution, the general public has no such limits.

Meet The ‘Gun Girl’ Whose Question Freaked Out a U.S. Congressman
March 13, 2013 at 2:56pm
Armed guards are not there to protect against guns, they are there to intimidate and protect against any attack. Guns in the hands of individuals are an equalizer, they help to even the odds when the stronger and or more numerous prey upon the weaker, and more vulnerable. An unborn citizen losing their entire future life seems like a large price to pay to avoid a 9 month pregnancy. Kill the rapist in the attempt, not the 2nd innocent victim resulting from the rape. Are you a person? or just an overgrown fetus? who should decide, the government? That has worked out well in the past. Look at the countries that banned guns(England, Australia, etc.) Gun deaths fell, but violent crimes by thugs increased greatly, the weak became easy targets.
On the Anniversary of the Nazi Invasion, This Is What Austrians Are Saying About Hitler
March 11, 2013 at 9:19am
The Germanic Tribes were conditioned by the Kaiser and became receptive to the Nazis, Before the mid 1800s Germans were known as the most unruly, rebelious people in Europe. When the Kaiser instituted the draft in the 1860s a huge Exodus of Immigrants arrived in the Americas, the ones that stayed behind Formed a more orderly and maleable populous. Many German Americans Sympathized with germany in both world wars, (The German American Bund in NY ETC.). But the vast majority were loyal Americans who often fought with honor on German soil for the USA. Many German (and Italian)POWs elected to stay in the US and become citizens after the war, they wanted no part of the Fascism/Communism in Europe, again the ones left in Europe were conditioned to accept and obey. We are being conditioned to accept and obey in a similar manner today.
Illinois Might Fire Its Republican Party Chair on Saturday Because He Supports Gay Marriage
March 8, 2013 at 4:13pm
I am a Catholic Republican IL resident, I am against All government sanction of The Sacrement of Marriage, especially here in IL. Why would I want the approval of a bunch of baby killing felons to practice my religion. If a Gay (or paligimous moslem etc) wants to practice Marriage as they see fit between any number of consenting adults, I say go for it. Just do not tell me that my practice of monogamous heterosexual Marriage for life is anti gay.
Maybe You Know How to Protect Yourself With a Gun — but What Can You Do Before It Gets to That Point?
February 28, 2013 at 10:50am
I was asked to help train the women’s black belt class at my sons dojo, because I was not a skilled martial artist, just a large male. The 18-30 year old blackbelt women were all unable to defend or escape from me once I had grabbed them, the sensei used this to bring them down to earth and get them to focus on awareness, to get them to run, and never let a stranger get close enough to grab them. They were instructed how to use a ball point pen, keys etc AS A LAST RESORT if they were grabbed. The point of a gun is to keep a threat from getting close enough to grab you, stab you etc, usually this is acomplished without deadly force. The closer they get the more likely that the situation will become fatal to either or both the attacker and target. Guns save lives by equalizing the odds and making a predator rethink their choice of prey.
What Are the Best and Worst States for Second Amendment Fans?
February 22, 2013 at 5:53pm
I always carried one in the chamber when I lived in AZ. and always carried openly. What good is a gun without one in the chamber? Maybe a revolver would make more sense, unless you must leave one slot empty in the cylinder under the hammer?
Ann Coulter Battles John Stossel & a Room Full of Libertarians: This Is Why People Think You’re ‘Pu**ies!’
February 22, 2013 at 10:29am
When the entitlements are dismantled, then the potheads among the libertarians can do as they please. Ann demonstrated why entitlements enslave us, Obamacare gives the government power over our bodies, reproduction, and very life. If you are dumb enough to use drugs (and alcohol to excess), you need to do it on your own dime.Addiction is not a disease, it is a character flaw. Libertarians need to self regulate in the absents of external regulation, Anarchists want neither.
Why Is This AR-15 Being Called the ‘Most Terrifying Thing on the Internet’?
February 22, 2013 at 10:06am
Blaming video games is fine, calling for their banning is not, they are protected by the first amendment. Blaming guns is fine, that is protected speech. Banning any guns is unconstitutional, EVEN IF THEY DO CAUSE MASS SHOOTINGS ! (they do not). Because the second amendment guarantees this right.
