I’m not impressed by this “announcement”. Any GOP senator up for reelection already has a whopping huge target on his/her back. And even if the GOP caves in front of this “announcement”, the Dems sure as shootin’ ain’t going to back off from what they want to do anyhow.
Yep... and. they've done nothing so far to convince people that a Republican majority has any value.

I have little use for Rand Paul. Always was a bit unpredictable. Now, I’d say he’s off my list of Good Folks.

What crime? Would you condemn all investigative reporting? No crime was committed. Except to embarrass the guilty ..

That’s the number I’m figuring, too. Especially in places like Colorado. Print out your ballot at home, give it to a “collector”, collectors walk into the voting precincts with armloads of ballots. What could possibly go wrong with that?

What is theblaze’s obsession (subtle, but obsession nonetheless) with downplaying James O’Keefe? Could it be because the guy is engaging in some good old-fashioned investigative journalism? Good for him! Sure wish other journalists would do likewise!

I agree. I think the key phrase is “counseled 5 times”. Bottom line: it may be easy to be charitable with other people’s stuff, but then that’s not charity. The guy had a long history of handing out stuff that didn’t belong to him.

I’m halting my funding of Disney over its stance of trampling all over anything resembling morals–as evidenced by the slide of more and more “Disney” movies to adult themes.
Not to mention, the young Disney "stars" involved with these movies and TV shows invariable rise to slut-dom. ITs because of, not in spite of, Disney.

A more careful reading of the original article reveals that the letters are for those who registered after 12/31/13 (technically illegal because the “law” said you had to register before 1/1/14). That’s how they have the addresses of those who aren’t registered–the small subset of honest–but dumb–folks who registered late.

Can a private company (hey, is a publicly traded company really private?) prohibit weapons? Curtail free speech (fire you if you are politically incorrect)? Search your bags or person for drugs/contraband/weapons or for fun or for whatever? I’m usually in favor of companies doing what they want, but in this case the pendulum has swung too far. Way too far.

Wait a minute! He just happened to have his bobsled in the bathroom! with him? Say what? Something is not adding up here …

Assuming that every indictment is true and correctly characterizes the defendants, they (the defendants) are at best rank amateurs compared to (most of ) the folks in D.C.

I listened to the first few minutes of the interview (up to and including the how-is-your-soul question). SHE SOUNDED JUST FINE TO ME! Where’s the beef? Really, Jay Severin, what kind of reporting are you engaged in?

Good comments, thesetruths. Being a decorated war hero does not provide license to live a life of “debauchery”. He did a great disservice to himself and to whatever other folks such a life “style” of necessity implies.

This story is a relative yawn. Yes, it is interesting, but I would expect nothing less than this (a far-left loon) from being appointed by Mr. Far-Left-Loon-in-Chief.

Dear Ms. S. E. Cupp: Staying away from CPAC? A splendid idea. Why don’t you also stay away until Republicans learn how to explain why money, investments, and corporations are not evil? Until Mitch McConnell learns how to vote like he talks? Until (alleged) conservatives learn how to lead the debate on the real issues instead of getting dragged into trip-up issues?

I find it disturbing that theorists (the judges) are so clever at twisting words and wresting laws that justice is subverted. In my simple mind, the guy simply wants to be able to defend himself, and the stuffed shirts said he can’t. Any 10-year old can you tell you that’s a violation of the 2nd amendment.

The rhetorical fine line with this topic is that there actually are groups that promulgate violence and appear ready to use weapons to further their aims, neve mind the ideology; so, this lousy CTC report has grains of truth in it, even though the report itself is politically warped.

Normally, I’m upset at Federal land grabs (especially for anything that smells leftist), but seeing as the three affected states are Wash, Oreg, and Calif, why not?
