It’s always been a bilingual culture here and that’s never been a big thing, but when I see people penalized for not speaking Spanish, there is something very wrong with that. My family speaks both English/Spanish interchangeably, but we were raised to deal in English first. It’s gotten so bad when dealing with something by phone, we will often opt for the Spanish rep because there are so many more of them than those who speak English. We prefer English, but often they are too few and far between and because of the number of illegals entering day by day, the market will continue to have to deal with them in order to stay in business. I never thought the English language and native speakers would weaken to this extent. And to this we are in absolute agreement. ENGLISH FIRST! Viva Ingles!!

    Oh ok Jeh Jeh Binx.
Thanks should be a great comfort to us all.
Haven’t we already trained “international students” looking to further their education anyway? After all, don’t they have a right to an “world class” education in America too?

In San Antonio, a sanctuary city, we are completely invaded. I rarely see a good old redneck anymore. The only white people I see are employed with the NSA and followed their jobs from nearly every damn state in the union. The illegals are buying up everything. Businesses, houses, slum apartments, they are driving new vehicles and have the newest equipment. All CASH, no taxes. The Muslims own most of the convenience stores and the illegals run and funnel dirty money through the restaurants. Their anchor babies attend our public schools and universities. My old high school doesn’t even have a kid over 5’6/150 pound on the football team, hence another losing season. But soccer season is all they care about anyway.

Sad, but I’m surprised that Detroit still has “first responders”. I wonder how long they took? 15, 30, 45 minutes to respond? Hell, I’m surprised there is still a local news station. The remnants and citizens of a once great American city is a sad sight. At least the witnesses stuck around.

I rarely visit the Blaze. Today the story of the lib dolts with Jesse Waters brought me here to comment. Beck has been losing it and for the last year has really shown me what he’s about. He came to TX for the low taxes and Big mansion and that’s about it. Now he’s buying soccer balls and who knows what else for the illegals and headed to the border to disburse them and get the photo op while MS-13 swims across. Don’t know what to make of Beck anymore. I wished he’s stayed in NYC. Infowars is far more bang for the buck, more stable, better interviews, and the forums are much better.

The desperation is palpable in the Comcast’s rep.
Must have been one of those former Democrat registration workers. What a zealot. Must have upped the Adderall by accident. Scary.

Well Clinton, Bush, and Barry have all pretty much been perfect examples. And our next Prez will follow suit.

Terrorists would make money off that one. They’d sell her over and over and over again. Dumb and liberal with a real disconnected problem, but hey keep blazin’ up and all aboard the FEMA bus when they come. These won’t fight it, they’ll just follow one another with their bag of finger paint and baggies of pot. Of course Barry won this state by a landslide.

Oh yeah. Anchor baby at the very least. Another dreamer. He probably planned to sell this innocent fair haired little girl to the highest bidder. Sick, but not surprising. This is what this administration is fighting for. These are the criminals they are fighting for! I think people should prepare themselves for this happening more and more because they are here and in your neighborhoods. Geez, it’s not bad enough we have to worry about American pedophiles and sex offenders, now we have to worry about these “dreamers” plucking up American kids. At least the Aunt’s superhuman strength kicked in.Tough girl with a tough punch. Very lucky.

That poor baby boy. Your post made me think of something else. My Dad would call once a day to check in on my Mom and us kids growing up while he was at work. Just to see if we were out of anything or if we were behaving. How the hell can a guy go the entire day without checking in with his wife or checking up on his kids in the “connected” society we all love to brag about. Maybe if this was an accident, which I doubt, the wife could have asked about the baby and a light bulb could have gone on!

How are parents so absent minded these days? How do you forget your flesh and blood baby boy is with you on the way to work? He didn’t see the baby when he went to the vehicle earlier? The day are never crossed his mind all day??? He probably was tech obsessed playing and texting while driving. Maybe had a mistress and wanted out of the marriage. The computer searches will probably send him away for a long time. I know these cases do happen, but I’m not sensing an accident with this one. I don’t think it’s really his the mother yet. She may not want to believe the facts, but this guy will drag out a trial and everything about their marriage and parenting will come out.

Nice job, prosecutor. I knew this man from “Forensic Files” way back when. Sharp. Tough. Handsome. And he does not quit. He’s been a champion for crime against women for a long time. As a woman, he’d have my vote for President and I hate politicians, but love Trey Gowdy.

Or SEIU. They even intimidate their own fellow unionists. No brave, little AP reporter ever raised a peep.

It would be so much easier if men were gentlemen and women were ladies and guarded their words out of respect for one another and even themselves and in this case the public. The first amendment is a right and I don’t have a problem with people saying what is on their mind, but there is a time and a place. This conversation would have been better at the hotel bar throwing back a few with the fellow sportscasters or strip club we all know they hit post game wrap-up.. .

Agreed. No strong Texas lady big, average, or stick figure would give this has been the time of day anyway. Maybe that’s why he always mentions it when he comes to sweet old San Antonio. He not only has to put the ladies down, but also the entire CITY. He is LOATHED here almost as much as Mark Cuban. I bet Sir Charles has been shot down by more than a few of those “big women” on more than one occasion, married or not. He is after all in the NBA. Basic projecting, Sir Charles. Ha! Go Spurs Go! Keep Charles coming back to town (he hates our PODUNK town) and let him keep running that sourpuss mouth. No ring. No championship. ALL MOUTH.

My best friend and I were chases by a bulldog. She was teasing him because he kept barking at us every time we got off the school bus. This one hopped onto his flatroof dog house and jumped the fence. He got a running start and got over it easy peasy. We ran like hell and he chased HER all the way to her house and her gate! She didn’t have time to pull her keys to the front door so she jumped over her gate.Ha! She barely made it in. Bulldogs can move when they want to and are tenacious.

Jody Piccoult is a popular ADULT fiction writer. This isn’t for high schoolers in a NORMAL mandated curriculum. This work however does fit in perfectly with COMMON CORE CURRICULUM. Whatever happened to “Fahrenheit 451″, “Brave New World”. “1984″? I didn’t even read “Atlas Shrugged” which has some edgy love scenes between Dagny and Hank Rearden until well out of college and was pushing boundaries in Ayn Rand’s time.
I don’t know if I’ll ever be blessed with children and grandchildren, but this path down DYSTOPIA is not one I would ever or could ever willingly expose children to. Homeschooling will be the safest, cleanest, and probably wisest method of rearing kids in the future. Been done for centuries before and long before any Department of Education existed. The Dad in this case was 100 percent correct.

Depressing. I knew this was coming. That was the plan. Get the weakest, youngest, and dumbest addicted to technology that was first promoted as an “emergency only” device. Now it is full blown entertainment and pretty much another “vice” added to the freakshow this society has become.

I’m of the same generation as your sons. How did I feel such little interest for these devices and they have to keep up? Remind them that our generation grew up using a phone at home and they should too. GenXers are natural slackers and rebels. Tell them to rebel against the smartphone by chucking them for a tiny burn phone. I hope they can wean themselves off of them.

    With you Indy.
I’ve been on here since 2011 and enjoy many posters on here, but have distanced my clicks to the Blaze. Beck has gotten too big for his britches in only a couple of years since coming to my beautiful Texas. I think you can take the boy out of NY, but you can’t take the NY out of the boy. Now Hollywood wants a piece of Texas too? He must have pretty close buddies at the Texas Film Commission since a pic rarely gets made here because of the expense and rigid stipulations from the TFC and the Governor’s Office. I don’t like where this is going. I sense palms are getting greased. Frankly, I hope he gets all he wants and gets so bored living here that he moved to Beverly Hills. Good Night and Good Luck Glenn. So disappointed on many levels, but I should’ve known better than to trust a carpetbagging NYer. No good ever comes of it.
