  • It’s pure hypocrisy, guys.

How can a Boy Scout leader who is responsible for helping to teach strong moral foundations to an impressionable crowd of boys be allowed to lead in that position if he himself is living a life that directly contradicts what he is teaching?

How can a pastor who preaches from God’s word be a pastor but somehow embrace or support homosexuality?

You simply CAN’T, and if you want to sit there and claim to be Christian but you support homosexuality, then you are simply lying to yourself. It’s the same thing as someone who claims to be a Christian but goes home and watches porn, cheats on his wife, etc. You’re a flaming hypocrite.

BELIEF in God and the bible is pointless without ACTION. You’ve heard the coin phrases enough, I’m sure.

You can belief in God all you want, but if you’re not PRACTICING His Word or living it outright by your actions…then your faith is dead, plain and simple.

These leaders of young impressionable men are appointed with the expectation that they uphold the highest moral values, and in-turn would “lead example”.

What is so difficult to understnad about this concept, guys?

  • Paul101,

    Spoken like a true racist.

    You disgust me.

I’m Jewish. In terms of politicial opinions, my beliefs would fall in line with conservatism.

The fact that you feel there’s some kind of underhandedness with Israel or our relationship with the ONLY democratic and free nation in the Middle East….just, yeah.

Tell me another Middle-eastern country where Jews AND gentiles can live in peace without fear of being murdered for their beliefs or just for their ethnicity.

Your ignorance is only outweighed by your arrogance. Clown.

  • California and New York are sesspools of immorality and poor leadership (politically-speaking). Combine that with a state that can’t even handle it’s own finances, over-charges for EVERYTHING (cost of living)…and yeah, you have a sure-fire failure of a state.

I am stationed in San Diego, and although I like the weather…I HATE California as a state. Houses are ridiculously expensive and so are the rest of the living expenses here, but yet the roads here are TERRIBLE with pot-holes and uneven pavement everywhere.

Los Angeles? Give me a break! That whole area looks like a ghetto!

The beaches are nice, and that’s it.

I can’t WAIT to move back to the east coast in a few months.

  • THE_JERK,

Has anyone ever told you that you’re a racist, stereotyping, d-bag?

Who gives a crap if Bloomberg or these other politicians are Jewish? The fact that you would even go through the effort of labeling people as “progressive Jews” is a testament to your prejudicial perspective.

I’m Jewish. Messianac Jewish. As far as political and cultural values go, I would be considered a conservative Republican.

It’s obvious Mayor Bloomberg’s intrusion into personal lives, even if well-intentioned, is completely over-stepping his authority…but again, keep race/religion out of it.

It has nothing to do with it.

  • I’m seeing a distinct issue here I want to address with everyone.

I’m seeing a lot of you guys intentionally singling out yoursleves or certain races, religions, affiliations, etc.

The fact of the matter is that we are ALL Americans, and even more important than that, we are all HUMAN.

With that SHOULD come an inherant desire to love one another and to “treat each other as we would want to be treated”. Right? What happened to the APPLICATION of that saying??

Just because you may have views or beliefs that differ from mine, that doesn’t matter to me. I would still fight to my last breath to protect you and save you from whatever harm comes your way. Why? Because even if you HATE me, I LOVE you.

That is the selfless mentality that I see missing from all of the comments posted, and missing in America today.

I’ve been in the Navy for 6 years because I wanted to serve a purpose higher than myself, and to provide my skills to help support and uphold the freedoms and liberties that we as Americans are privledged to have.

Sure, you are entitled to your opinion. You are entitled to dislike someone. But hate? Why? Hate is a vicious cycle that will never end.

Love is the answer to this world’s problems, people. But let me ask you this. How can you expect to understand HOW to love, if you don’t understand the love of the one who created you?

Lead, live, and LOVE by example people. THAT’S how you change the world.

  • Being only 27 years old I feel as though I am personally living with/through a generation of CHILDREN who have been raised thinking they are entitled to everything and are not accountible for their actions.

There is no fear of reprecrussion. There is no fear of consequences. There is no respect, courtesy, decency, or tact.

THESE are but a few of the many outcomes of a lawless society who depend on nothing more than their own limited knowledge to decide how to “live for themselves”.

THIS is what happens when children are raised without strong father figures, and most important, THE father: God.

Society can whine and moan all day about “religious oppression”….but meanwhile our society is literally killing itself through self-destructive lifestyle behaviors and with any real sense of morality other than what they define for themselves.

You wanna know what society looks like without God? That’s easy. Just look at the last 50 years since public prayer was removed from school, and the up-and-coming “hippie” generation fought with all of their might for freedom FROM religion instead of people fighting for their freedom OF religion.

    History speaks for itself, folks.

It makes me so angry because people cry “How could this happen?” and yet they miss the big pink elephant in the room.

  • I agree with some below that even posting these kinds of articles does more harm than good sometimes.

This is absolutely atrocious and despicable.

YOU CAN NOT HAVE A RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD IF YOU ARE GOING TO WILLINGLY COMMIT TO LIFESTYLES OF SIN THAT COMPLETELY CONTRADICT THE FAITH YOU ARE CLAIMING TO BELIEVE IN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What is so difficult to understand about that???? If you wanna live YOUR life the way YOU want to, then you have chosen YOURSELF over God.

You do NOT just pick and choose what scriptural laws you want to follow and which you want to break.

    Revelation 3:16-17
“”I know all the things you do, that you are neither hot nor cold. I wish that you were one or the other! But since you are like lukewarm water, neither hot nor cold, I will spit you out of my mouth!”

What part of that isn’t clear to you people??

  • ….with all of the facts of Snoop aside, as if we all didn’t already know his faults…

You can’t help but admit that his raps were good and the video was funny.

    Chillax. lol

  • LMAOOOOO….

I’ve been a huge fan of Epic Rap Battles of History for a long time. I’d already seen the video before this was posted.

I’m Jewish and even I’M happy that Snoop Dogg/Lion actually did a good job defending my people. LOL

I applaud ‘Nice Peter’ the creator (and plays Santa Claus in this vid) for not having overly harsh raps against the Jews or our faith, etc.

The only thing I don’t like are the sl*tty women behind Snoop that are basically supposed to be Jewish women….but meh…it’s Snoop, I guess it’s to be expected. :/

Either way, it was an awesome rap. LOL

  • Basically, I kinda-sorta agree with you.

I mean, sure, there ARE certain vital key issues that should be protested as members of faith. We are called to act and not stand-by as “the world goes to hell” around us. We were never meant to keep our faith within the 4 walls of our churchs and congregations. We were meant to be “a light to the nations” and by being LIVING examples of God’s word, we would draw others to Him by OUR example.

So again, although I would agree that as far as Ellen DeGeneres’ presence in this commercial? I have no problem with it. There are no hidden messages, no under-handed attempts of promoting the “gay agenda” or anything like that.

Even before Ms. DeGeneres “came out”, I always considered her a “personality”. Even though JCP is more-than-likely using her as a marketing ploy to reach out to homosexuals, I don’t see any issues with the commercial itself.

Now, do I have issues with all of these disgusting and trashy “reality” shows that are OBVIOUSLY promoting homosexuality by their cast/character choices? Absolutely. THAT is when it becomes an issue of society essentially embracing the homosexual “culture” in a way that it is/has indoctrinated our society and is considered the new “norm”.

The new “norm” are these stereotypes of seeing ****-dresser and “fashionista” gay men and overly snarky-sarcastic lesbian women.

Remind me again what’s “normal” about sodomy? Ah, but I digress….
