Just curious, but do you know what percentage of the city’s debt is due to the Union’s demands?

  • July 18, 2013 at 12:14pm

It is certainly much cheaper for the Government to provide birth control than to provide full support for a child from birth to 18, than another generation of “welfare” families. That is one way of looking at it anyway. And by birth control, I do NOT mean abortion.

People like Rand, Jackson, Sharpton, Reid, Pelosi, Obama, and Holder are “con” artists. A “con” works so efficiently because the “con” him/herself believes in what they are selling so fervently they are able to “con” others into believing what they know to be untrue, or to be the “con.” It is an art. It is a far cry from the snake oil seller of yester-year. These people have one thing they believe in, and that is their need for power and control. Along the way, they develop a methodology and structure that best serves the purpose of getting them the power and control they need. That is why the “con” works so well. Their very being depends upon them selling the “con” to support this need for power and control.

Look at how successful they are. Strip away their ideology, and ask yourself, what do they want the most? Keep stripping, and stripping, and stripping. What is left? How they get there is the “con.” And dam* they are good.

The movie “The Sting,” while fun to watch, illustrates how the con works. Substitute money for power and control over the people, and there lies our President, Holder, Pelosi, Reid, and the rabble boys. Why do DemocRATs keep winning, because their leaders believe the CON. And the true sheep, are not Republicans, but every day DemocRATs that are conned and buy today’s snake oil like it is Holy Water from the Holiest of Holies. They are conned by the cons.

It is too late. This should have been up yesterday. From what I read this morning, the GOP capitulated and are going to approve 5 of the 7 nominees, and if I read correctly, she is one of them. I hope I read wrong.

You are absolutely right. That six year old has no business with an iPod. You know, I’ve been wanting one, and I never thought about a 6 year old having one. Think I’ll take my walker, scout out the playground a couple of blocks away, take my Swiss Army Knife, and lurk around until I see one I like and off-load that kid of his. I really could use it, and he’s too young to appreciate it!!!! Just kidding.

A criminal in the making, unless Mommy strikes a note of true responsibility in the kid that used the knife. Also I hope Mommy and Daddy have a talk with iPod boy. It probably wouldn’t do any good, but somebody might want to have a talk with Mommy and Daddy about 6 year olds and appropriate gifts, but that is just my and a few others here opinion.

    From Chicago

In light of the not guilty verdict in the George Zimmerman trial, on Friday we asked the following question:

“How many male, black 17 year olds have been shot and killed in Chicago since the Trayvon Martin/George Zimmerman shooting incident?”

    The answer is 18.

18 male, black 17 year olds have been shot and killed in Chicago since 2/26/12. We’d wager that few, if any, could name a single victim or shooter.

Your post is interesting. All of your posts are interesting. But you are always blaming something, or someone, or somebodys for the blacks being a poor, misunderstood, underprivileged race. You blame the entire American white race, Glenn Beck, the posters here, Zimmerman, the jury, the talk show host(s), the laws, and the world. But never do you cast a look to the blacks themselves, or to an attitude some have, or to any blame on the part of the black leadership for not showing responsibility begins at home. I’ve not seen you give accolades to Bill Cosby and others who speak out to the black community to stop blaming others for their own choices. Why is that?

Because you want to stir the pot. You don’t want to admit that people of all races have a hand in their life, in their future, and in their every day living. All of the poor face the same issues of education, health care, and need I go on? The blight of the inner city projects hits all races. Who is rioting for the poor elderly? Get real.

Killery opens her mouth on the death of T. Martin, but by her actions, or lack there of, personally kills 4 Americans in Benghazi. Where is the jury on her? Where is the riots, scratch that, where are the peaceful demonstrations for the 4 Americans left to die there by the hand of Muslim extremists? Where is Holder’s request to the DOJ to look for “racially” incited murder of the four Americans?

Where is Sharpton and Jackson? Why aren’t theey calling for the “heads” of the Muslim extrmists?

Where is Obama? Why isn’t he calling for a complete investigation of himself?

Obama, Holder, and Killery along with Jackson and /Sharpton are ammoral, irresponsible people in responsible positions. Impeach Obama and Holder, and try Killery on murder charges.

Jacson and Sharpton should be arrested on 15 counts of being felony stupid.

I hope everyone contacts their Senators and tells them to vote “No” on Samantha Power. At least the “No’s” will be on record.

Aren’t you profiling yourself and blacks in general in your post? Why do you think people stare at you? Why do you think people judge you for unfair reasons? Because you are black? Have you not been hired because you were black? Or was it because someone of a different race was more qualified, or was more articulate, or had a GQ suit and carried himself like a model and knew his subject? Do you really hate being black and wake up each day wanting to be white? Where is your pride of self?

I don’t know how many jobs I have NOT been hired that I really thought I wanted, and the hirees have been black, oriental, and white. Some were skinnier, some were fatter, some looked like a model for Cosmpoloitan magazine, and all had skills I did NOT have. I don’t have a college degree, but my work experience had me teaching College Professors, Attorney’s and PhD’s in many, many areas. The PhD.’s all thought they were “TOP” guns, until they wanted to know what I know that they didn’t know, then their degree was worth nothing.

I am a woman that worked for and with strict Jordanian, Saudi Arabian, Pakistani, and Egyptian Muslims, and I know about racial, sex, and religious profiling and discrimination. I’ve seen camels treated better than me, as a woman, until I earned their respect.

When I look at you, I see how you act, how you dress, and what you say. I don’t see your color, unless YOU make it an issue.

Too bad they didn’t have these when my husband was alive. Ah shucks. They would hhave made a great “stocking stuffer!!!!” Pun intended.

    Hi The-Monk! Speaking?

    good post.

I am not priviledged because I am white. I am priviledged because I am an American.

I will not apologize because I am white. i will not apologize because @ 13.7% of the 2013 U.S. population is black. I will not apologize because i am not a part of the 8% of Americans that receive some sort of welfare payments. I will not apologize because that 8% breaks down to 39% white, 38% black, and 17% hispanic. I will not apologize for being part of the 12% of the population that is over 65 years of age.

I will not apologize because I worked hard all my life and put my money into an IRA and paid into SS, and my husband put his money into a retirement program and a deferred comp program so we could retire at least without constant fear, but not rich by a long, long, long shot.

I will not apologize because I thank God each day for my life, and do what I can to help others. I will not apologize to a woman of any race who threatens me because I am white, or green, or purple.

I am a citizen of this country. I abide by its’ very laws. I am a part and parcel of my Government. I vote in every election. My candidates are not always elected, but I let whoever represents me know where I stand regardless of their party, because they also represent me.

So, lady, don’t threaten me. Let’s tell the chronically unemployed, regardless of race, there is no such thing as a “free lunch.” But don’t threaten me because I am white. You are being racist.

    Oh too funny!

  • July 15, 2013 at 9:38am

It is very refreshing to hear Alan Dershowitz step up to the plate and take on the prosecutor in this case. He is an authority on constitutional law, and I was in hopes he would take Zimmerman’s case if the DOJ does decide to prosecute him, even in an advisory capacity. I do fear for Zimmerman’s life, and the President has done nothing, along with MLK’s daughter to step up to the plate to really diffuse this issue. They have spoken for clear heads and no violence, but they haven’t said the magic words, “he is NOT GUILTY,” which needs to be said by the leaders in the black community, like it or not. The jury has spoken.

    rjj, who is this soybean315?

  • July 15, 2013 at 9:22am

Did you get my message yesterday?

  • July 15, 2013 at 9:14am

    soy, soy

You are just mad because I asked you how much George was paying you and I think you are overpaid because your answers are so blah! You just did it again! Can’t you come up with something original? Calling me left is so funny after what the lefties call me on MOJO makes me fall over in raucous laughter. You should know.

And you know that these posts on theblaze sound the same as the ones on MOJO and The Huff Post hailing Snowden as a hero. Same posts, different names.

So don’t be taking my words out of context. I said that WE are part of the Government. All of us.

I didn’t say lefts are wrong 100% of the time. I didn’t say anything about Zimmerman. I didn’t say anything about forming an opinion based upon left or right. So you aren’t earning your money. Get a real job, soy. You stink at this one.

But first, I would suggest that you take a remedial reading class.

  • July 15, 2013 at 3:57am

Hey theblaze posters that think Snowden is a hero, you sound exactly like the posters on the liberal rags The Huffington Post and Mother Jones. Or they sound exactly like you. You both say that he is a hero and that the U.S. government is awful, not to be trusted, and speak of “that” American government as if you aren’t a part of it.

You both forget that we are a part of our Government, and that we directly and indirectly elect people to represent us in two of the three parts of our Government.

The Legislative Branch is comprised of the Senators and Congresspeople you elected, and even if you didn’t vote for them, they still represent you.

The Executive Branch is the President, Vice-President, and other executive officials. The President and Vice-President is chosen by the electoral college that is elected by the people for the purpose of electing the President. Even if you didn’t vote for the President and Vice President in the popular vote, they still represent you.

The Judicial Branch, the Supreme Court and the lower federal courts, are nominated by the President, and are advised and consented to by the Senate.

This is the Government. We are the government. There is no “that” U.S. Government. It is us.

I never thought I’d see the day that readers on theblaze and the Huffington Post would see eye to eye, but you Snowden lovers are as one.

You speaking? I left a msg for you on my profile.

  • July 15, 2013 at 12:06am

    soybomb, soybomb

Just how far up and locked is your head? THAT FAR???

Do you think George stopped and took aim in the middle of the melee? Yea, you probbly do. That is about the capacity of your mind set. Zimmerman had to be guilty becuse he is an hispanic and the victim was a black. All blacks are innocent, right? Or ws it that Zimmerman had to be guilty because the cops arrested him the second police chief around? Or was it because the president said that if he had a son that he would look like Martin?

What would have happened if Bill Clinton had said that Nicole Brown Simpson reminded him of his daughter?? Would Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton have cried “foul” on that? Would you?

Zimmerman was found “not guilty” because the Prosecution HAD NO CASE!! Period. You cannot find a person guilty based on emotion. Facts are what it takes, and there were none presented. Even Dershovitz said it. And he is usually in your camp.

BTW, I’m curious just how much Soros is paying you? It is too much for your comments. They are very blah, and not even a little bit original. You remind me a lot of an unaddressed envelope; empty and void of any information.

Go home and play with your kiddie friends. The big folks have important things to do.
