Yeah, because it isn’t “spin” to lie about events to make your position look better is it? Its ok to lie about events as long as you are on the correct side of the issue. Ends justifying the means and all that, right datroll?

“There’s no doubt there has been an alarming frequency of tragic incidents of gun violence that are concerning to Democrats and Republicans in Washington but more importantly to people all across the country,”
I’m sure I already know the answer, but I wonder if anyone called him out on that lie.

You mean just like they didn’t try to do with the Aurora, Colorado movie theater shooting?
And what is it like to spend so much of one's time on articles with which you wholeheartedly disagree? Life is too short, my friend. :)
People who talk to themselves are considered mentally ill.
And that all what right wing media is all about.
So change the subject again, eh. To be expected, you are caught in a lie so much here, you might as well not even bother acknowledging it.

Nice. Don’t try to show where my thinking is incorrect or where in scripture I need to look for clarifaction. No, instead accuse me of a strawman argument while yourself setting a strawman argument that is actually ignorant of my initial question. There are numerous verses throughout the new and old testament condemning premartial sex, I’ll list several of them if you want. Can you list one that indicates that alcohol is, in and of itself, a sin?
If there is anything more pathetic than a stupid person -
it's a stupid person who thinks they are smart,
A perfect description of both of you.
Cite one lie. One.
fracking causes earthquakes?
the only other point you "make" is fracking uses millions of gallons of precious water, maybe you would prefer solar? creating solar panels probably uses zero natural resources and doesn't cause any pollution either, right?
Yes, fracking causes earthquakes,
Why not use your computer for information.
plate tension causes earthquakes genius

As part of this deal, the Detroit Police Department has been officially sold to a private company known as OCP

While there are a lot of things wrong with the Westboro “Church”, I’ve never understood the “God hates drunks” thing. If alcohol was a sin, then Jesus’ first miracle was about making people sin, which honestly would then throw pretty much everything after that into question. I know, kind of a random thought, clearly lots of things wrong with these self-proclaimed “Christians” but that is something I’ve always been curious about.
What if some Mexicans are coming into our country with heroine in their trunk and when asked to open the trunk they say "Oh never mind, we just want to turn around?"
This guy had been to Mexico 6 times. He took a MAJOR eight line highway into Mexico. It also sounded like they were going to let him go at one point, but when they wouldn't let him keep his guns he started calling 911. Can you really blame Mexican border patrol for arresting him at that point?
Is heroine legal in Mexico? If so, then in your example the U.S. border agents should definitely allow them to turn around and head back to Mexico.
Even with heroin being illegal, the first response of a border agent should be to protect the border. If someone is not posing a threat to their safety and asks to turn around and go home, they have no business interfering. Our prisons are full enough. We don't need to detain everyone that comes to the border and put them of trial before a judge so they can prove they had good intentions.
I agree that there are unanswered questions. However, even assuming the worst, I can't rationalize and justify what the Mexican border agents did and it is not right to treat anybody who hasn't been proven guilty of a serious crime the way he was treated in the prison.
The only good that I can take from this story is that as bad as I think this country has become, I am always grateful for the freedoms we still enjoy compared to Mexico.

That’s cute, Grover doesn’t even understand the Supreme Court case that he is trying to use to mock 2nd Amendment with. Gotta love people who think they are smart.

Dead or alive, you’re coming with me!

At this point, I think Detroit probably needs someone more like “The Punisher” than it does Batman.
The old one, not the PG-13 new one.
Dead or alive, you're coming with me!
A sniper or Punisher type of character would reduce crime 30% in a couple of weeks. Just imagine, only at night, some lone gunman prowls the roof tops of the city. Watching and waiting for some criminal to assault someone. Then "Bam!" a would be thug's head explodes like an overly ripe fruit right as he's committing the crime. Every night the same thing in different locales. His victims are always a criminal in the process of actively committing a crime. After the bodies start to pile up, and it looks like it's not going to stop. How many criminals will think twice before mugging someone, knowing that they might be in the sights of this Punisher type character, and he's about to punch their ticket? Such a man would have to be a murdering psychopath himself, but I have no doubt it would sharply reduce crime in the motor city.
My vote's for Captain Insano!
Actually, I think DareDevil would be a good choice too! He was able to get around Hell's Kitchen a lot faster than the Punisher could, and he has no qualms about killing bad guys!

“In addition to damages and the former mayor’s legal fees, the village will have to cover Barella’s legal fees.”
This is the only thing I don’t like about this situation. The city taxpayers will have to pick up the bill for the bigoted mayor and the mayor will suffer no consequences. Had this been a Black man or Hispanic man on the receiving end of the discrimination, you would have probably seen a similar lynch mob to the one that went after Sterling for this mayor and would have done everything they possibly could to ruin and destroy this mayor.

The day this happened, I looked to a co-worker and said that this event will be this generation’s Amelia Earheart, they will never find out what happened to this plane and they will likely never even find it, all it will ever be now is fodder for conspiracy theories.
