  When my house was broken into there were three of them and if I had the Vice President’s double barrel shotgun I would have been one round short and just as dead as if I had Feinstein’s unloaded musket. My best hope would have been to use slugs and ask them to kindly line up in a straight line to allow me a fighting chance of getting them all with one shot. 8} Giving the criminal or any intruder the advantage is never an option.

  Texas Lady Juanita is correct. arguing about clip vs magazine is childish at best. Whether I call it a clip or a magazine or an epic novel means nothing as long as the reader is smart enough to understand what the writer means. I inserted my epic novel in my bookcase and was now fully loaded to do battle. If you don’t understand you ask for clarification and if you do understand then you move on. Don’t argue about “What is is?” when it means zero, zip, nada to what is really relevant.

  It seems odd that this could even happen. In the past, fuel for presidential vehicles is transported with the logistics team to keep complete control to prevent sabotage and never obtained from the local economy or gas stations.

  My brother got ticketed for a marker light burned out on the trailer he was pulling. The prosecutor charged him with the light, log book violation, tampering with his medical card and 4 other offenses. When he heard the laundry list of charges my brother insisted on a jury trial. After seven continuances because the judge would not empanel a jury, the charges were dropped to just the burned out light and nothing else. It took nearly a year and cost him his driving job and made him undesirable as a driver for any other carrier. So now he will be driving a taxi cab until the court undoes the damage to his driving records. It seems the charges were transmitted to the agency that monitors driving records for commercial drivers and they were entered into his record as fact. Sometimes they just won’t give you a jury trial, they will drag things out to infinity and beyond.

  Stupid – absolutely
  a Crime – debatable

  Is what the cops did and threatened to do
  Stupid – probably
  A Crime – if they erased the tape that would have been tampering with/destroying evidence YES it would be
  Since they didn’t erase it they must have reconsidered that action or couldn’t figure out how to erase it.
  Should the cop who said he was going to erase the tape be reprimanded for threatening a criminal action YES Fired – No.

  Do cops do stupid things too. Yes everyday.

  Running lights and siren and traveling at high rate of speed only to whip into a convenience store or Dunkin Donuts for a hot coffee and a snack cake. I have seen that more than once in the last six months. I followed them in to see if they had responded to an emergency. Not once yet, went straight for the coffee maker or their favorite booth.

  Drag racing another police car back to the station for shift change. It happens every morning.

  No cops never do stupid things.

  He is telling us that they can do anything they damn well please and to hell with all of us.
