  Last I checked, it was my wife and I that decided what my children can eat and drink not the damn government. This school should just ignore the fine. What’s the government going to do? Close them down? We can’t take this sort of thing lying down America. Has this country become so pitiful that “the man” has to dictate each part of our lives and we can no longer survive on our own?

  Huh, started putting money away for retirement at the age of 18. The first month of boot camp in the Corps we had the opportunity to use the Thrift Savings Plan to start saving. I didn’t put as much into it as I should have but I did save. Now that I‘ve gotten out I rolled my TSP over into my company’s 401k and increased the amount of my earnings invested for retirement. There is simply no excuse for not doing something to ensure your financialy ready to retire. It’s too expensive is the most rediculous excuse.

  @Randy You’re a jacka$$. I live just outside of Austin and my 4th grader writes stuff like this all the time. Just a few months ago he showed me a story he wrote about a ninja that rescues a princess from a castle. Any kid that age with an active imagination that reads at or above their level could have written that. Some people need to chill out and just enjoy children being children.
  Also, the correct motto is “Keep Austin Weird.” Before you jump on that train as well, no I’m not a fan of living in the most liberal city in the state, it just happens to be where a lot of the hi-tech jobs are at.
