  • First Glimpse of Awaited Obama Harvard Video

    March 7, 2012 at 10:05pm

    In reply to goodgrubguy.

O has repeatedly done things like this.

And, despite that he became a Senator and then President. A wise man might wonder why: how could he become president despite all his baggage? Then, that wise man might reassess how he opposes Obama and try to figure out how he himself has failed.

See, this video is going to have no impact whatsoever: it’s not going to change any minds. If you want to do that, you have to find smart people to try to intellectually engage O, as I tried to do over five years ago:

R/w bloggers and other leaders never gave me any help with that, despite what I wanted to talk to him about being worse that the video above. In fact, I even got pushback from supposed Obama opponents when looking for help getting O asked that question. And, that’s stupid.

  • Bachsman: Snopes is OK when it comes to technical matters, but not OK when it comes to politics and other controversial issues:

I’ve left dozens of comments at MMFA over the past several years pointing out how they got things wrong. Not pointing out their partisan bias, but simply how they didn’t tell their readers the truth. I’ve only very rarely gotten any backup from others. If you want to do something about MMFA, join up and leave comments showing how they mislead their readers, and backup others who do that.

  • jrook: the long-term goal is in fact to phase out incandescents. The two current alternatives have various problems. LEDs cost a lot and have a heavy manufacturing footprint. And, you almost need a hazmat suit if you break the other type. The halogens cost more, AFAIK aren’t made in the U.S., and once again they want to phase out incandescents entirely over several years.

  • So, who do we blame? The Dems and the far-left are just doing what comes naturally for them. They can’t really be “blamed” because they’re just doing their jobs.

So, who isn’t doing their jobs? Who let this situation happen in the first place.

For the answer, look no further than the GOP and the teaparty “patriots” (or their predecessors). They helped this situation happen by allowing (in one way or another) mass immig.

The main reason there are so many retired teachers in the first place is due to mass immig. If we weren‘t basically educating millions of citizens of a foreign country we’d have fewer retired teachers, less spending on school building, and less spending overall.

Yet, the GOP allowed this situation to build to its current state. The teaparty “patriots” have barely said a word about illegal immig. or mass immig. in general, despite it being the topic where the Dems and the far-left are weakest.

It takes two to tango, and the GOP and the current or nascent teaparty “patriots” matched the Dems step for step.

If you’re smart and sane and want to oppose both the far-left and the self-described “patriots” in the teaparties, help promote this plan that would have a far greater and far better impact on the U.S. than anything Beck has ever said or done:

  • Reid filed to have a cloture vote about the anti-American DREAM Act amnesty on Saturday, and all this site cares about is relatively minor pork?

The DREAMAct will not only increase social spending, it will give the free-spending Dems and the far-left even more power. Ignoring it now will increase your taxes later and will also reduce your political power.

Let me suggest making that a higher priority than pork. For the details on the bill and what you can do, see:

  • If you oppose illegal/massive immigration, the U.S. Chamber is on the other side.

For instance, in 2006, Rep. Sensenbrenner (GOP) suggested that the Chamber should register as a foreign agent due to their strong support for illegal immigration: http://24ahead.com/n/4577

The Chamber joined with the ACLU & the AFL-CIO to oppose enforcement: 24ahead.com/n/7267

They got $$$ from illegal immigration profiteers due to supporting amnesty: 24ahead.com/n/7265

They may have collaborated with the Mexican government on NAFTA trucks: 24ahead.com/n/8030

    Even more here: 24ahead.com/s/us-chamber-commerce

Once again: if you oppose illegal/massive immigration, the Chamber is on the other side.
