  • when traffic backs up from lane closures, the traffic gets closer together naturally. I wouldn’t call it a convoy…. but I would say tailgating.

  • Seat belts on school buses are AWESOME WEAPONS for kids to sling at each other with heavy metal buckles on the end of a strap. I’ve seen it in action.
Seat belts on school buses would require students be honest, responsible, and safety-savy…. unlike most of the adults they model. I’ve seen their parents on field trips.
Seat belts on school buses can be monitored to see if they are “plugged in” with a light-up board at the front of the bus…. students also learn how to spell words in the light up board like a “night bright” toy. Yep… it’s true.
School bus seat backs, and corresponding seat-bottoms, are built with height, girth, and then spaced in a particular way so that the student, in case of an accident, slips forward on the seat until they come in contact with the specially engineered seat-back in front of them, and then they slide down and onto the floor. Yep… the floor.
Seat belts, wrongly worn or positioned, on a school bus in an accident can cause spine damage, whiplash, and death by hanging.
School buses have students seated ABOVE the area of impact for an accident (aside of a train), adding another safety factor.
The cuts and bruises are unfortunate for these children, but the safety features on the bus worked just as they were designed to….. no one was hurt further by a poorly used seat belt.
I drove a school bus for 10 years. I know what I am talking about.

  • Their words each speak for themselves if one would just LISTEN.
Al says a lot about doing good so others can see it in order to prove your Christianity, as if someone can judge anothers heart.
Franklin tells that he can’t speak for Obama and Romney, but you have to look at “what is a Christian”.
Franklin is telling the truth with gentleness and respect, while Al is saying “Look what he did! Look what he did!”
The farther a person is away, the more they point to actions rather than the heart.

  • One cannot expect non-Christians to act like Christians.
Let us be aware, fellow Christians, of our words and actions so that there is a clear difference between the two.

  • Sounds like the one who holds the high office is speaking from experience.
Has he had a child of his aborted?
Why does he speak of the matter like he KNOWS how to make the decision to abort?

  • The photo of Obama with the headline has him centered in the middle of a logo…. looks like the halo of holiness thing you see in Catholic art… is that to make us think our leader is from God and knows what he’s talking about?
Please use a different picture…. something with crayons will do.

  • EVERYONE struggles with sin. Yes, I said SIN.
    Everyone.
Lets not beat each other up about these things, and lets not try to convince others that OUR sin is ok.
    What do you struggle with?
It’s all the same. Sin separates us from God. God can forgive ANY sin when we ask.
    Can you forgive?

  • Teacher! They are looking at me!
Teacher! They are staring at me!
Teacher! They are talking about me!
Teacher! They are whispering about me!
Teacher! They are glaring at me!
Teacher! I heard them saying my name and laughing!
Seems to me, that what I keep hearing from people about so-called “racism” is just paranoid people looking for power wherever they can get it.
Lets grow up already and stop it already!
Who’s more racist? The whites against blacks? or the Blacks against whites? I know what I have seen and heard. Bunches of kindergarten babies!

  • I would bet my lunch that this worker has done this before. Laziness!
Fire the Lazy USPS worker, that my taxes pay his wages, and hire someone who wants to do their job! Better yet, put to work one of those people that the USPS is paying to do NOTHING because there is a lack of work.

  • The TEMPORARY cancellation of sports at this school will cease. The adults need to keep things in perspective and not be self-serving.
Many changes need to be made to the public school system as funding is down and folks are opting for alternative education such as charter, private, and on-line school.
Maybe Im saying what someone has already said, but how about sports being based NOT from the schools but from the regions where the folks live? Your town could have one or a few football teams, they could recruit and have sponsors….
Let the schools teach, and encourage kids to be a part of activities outside of school.
