  I love the Doomsday show although it does paint some of them as cooky. But I have learned so much. Like cheese wax. I will dip my hard cheeses in the wax and it will last a life time. I think I have 20 blocks of cheese to do.
  I also watched canning videos on Youtube for 2 days to learn to can. I’m cooking a specialty pasta sauce as we speak…can’t wait.
  Who knew you could actually can meat? I have at least a year of food already but no real meat so I’m excited. I haven’t canned it yet but plan to later this week. Chili and meatloaf, yum. So excited.
  You can also can real butter I have 10 or blocks of it to can when needed but it doesn‘t last as long as other food so I wouldn’t do it unless I had to.

  You can rub eggs in lard and place them in a cool place and they will keep for almost a year!

  HEILL88: The problem with saying we will fire them is waiting for the next election. They will have up to 4 years to pass more regulations, fill positions by fiat and shred the constitution even more. The problem my friend is that only 8-10% of voting age Americans vote that leaves something like 100 MILLION people who do not vote. So you may be right Americans are tired of it just enough so to complain but not actually to take action! We are a LAZY bunch of people, as a whole, and sadly we deserve the government we have. I hope more of us stand up and take action, speak out and become active. May God have mercy on us.

  1) If the media is saying no one can beat Obama but Romney why would “we” give what the media says any thought. I’m sorry but I believe any one of the canidates can beat Obama…except Paul. He has too much PROVEN racism in his back ground. He says he had no idea what the “ghost writer” was writing…really for 2 decades, hum?

  2) I managed apts. for 10 years in Dallas’ Oak Lawn a predominately gay area. Each one that opened up to me, and sooo many of them did, ALL spoke of sexual abuse during their childhood. This obviously had everything to do with their life style. If you don’t believe me make friends with a few gay people and ask about their childhood, you will be amazed at what you find out.

  3) You can pray away gayness just as you can any other disease. And yes I can pray away your gayness as easily as you can. You can intercede on behalf of others in prayer. My nephew and cousin were both addicted to meth and after my entire church praying for over a month both of them cleaned up and have been clean for almost 2 years.

  4) Is the left really so stupid as to think “we” care about people being gay! We care about all people but it is not an issue. Hooray for M for putting the comment back in its place. GLBT??? whatever the stupid initials are WE DON’T CARE ABOUT YOUR LIFE STYLE. STOP shoving it down our throats and we won’t even bring it up.

There are millions of dollars that could be cut from other programs 1st if the progressives were serious about saving these two types of jobs.   I read all the comments and I didn’t read that anyone caught the part that said

  “Surveillance video showed the men walking into the building with an item in their hands, but they did not have the item when they walked out of the courthouse, sheriff’s officials said. Investigators have not said whether that item was recovered or what it may be.”

  WHAT????? So where is it and what was it?

  In most Texas schools we have special programs (Dual Language Programs) where it is comprised mostly of Illegals although any child can join. One day is in English and one in Spanish if you don‘t know Spanish you’re screwed until you learn it. they say it is because they want to immerse the kids in Spanish, really? Why don’t we teach them starting in Kinder a word a week by the time they reach 4th grade they will know most words. Anyway when they go to secondary school, in Garland, Texas for instance, all the dual Language Arts kids go to a specialized magnet school that offers the best of the best of arts, music, science this school gets all the special “stuff” while the regular kids (legal) who choose to opt out of dual language go to lesser schools unless they are gifted. Legal kids must be tested to go to a magnet school but the dual language kids automatically go…hummm! So if I were in Garland ISD my child would go to a regular school w/o all the bells and whistles that I PAY FOR while those who don’t pay taxes get all the great computers and guitar, and signing & dance lesson…on and on! We don’t go to Garland but I know people who do it just drives me crazy!

  I have a niece in who got pregnant at 18 and has been on welfare for 9 years she gets housing and food stamps and her boyfriend whom she just had a baby with lives there too. The kicker ,he has a good job making about 2500 a month…must be nice. I bet with all the freebies and his salary they make 50K year or more.
