  When you literally desecrate a religious symbol… that pretty much can be considered an attack. While God can take care of himself… the right to peaceful protest by the pro-life students should not be so arrogantly disrupted by an dim wit and supported by those in power…

  Just a thought Rock… everyone gets the $33.8K deduction, a recognition of the basic need of human survival… water, food, shelter, plus maybe, just maybe a night out at a fastfood joint… hands off… there are people who work two, three jobs just to barely make it… It is fair to leave the survival money only… just because you make more money does not mean you work harder… Only after the bare necessities are covered would it be fair to start taxing… by pulling out all the tax exemption and special deductions it would be far “fairer” than todays system which is really sh##ty… Only one thing not mentioned on a new tax system like this… the MASS UNEMPLOYMENT that would occur with IRS agents, tax lawyers and CPA’s… what great problem that would be…

  @B A D, and one more small point… the Treaty of 1797 was replaced by the Treaty of 1805, ratified 1806 after Jefferson had a new Navy & Marine force kick the stuff out of Tripoli which no longer had the language placed by Adams at an attempt of appeasement diplomacy… so… the Treaty of 1797 is no longer recognized as anything other than failed crapola…

  @S I N Evil, God will judge, if found guilty His law will require your eternal life. There will be consequences to all that we do, a fact of life, not a tactic. There will be tribulation and distress for every soul of man who does evil, of the Jew first and also of the Greek, but glory and honor and peace to everyone who does good, to the Jew first and also to the Greek. For there is no partiality with God. For all who have sinned without the Law will also perish without the Law, and all who have sinned under the Law will be judged by the Law; for it is not the hearers of the Law who are just before God, but the doers of the Law will be justified. For when Gentiles who do not have the Law do instinctively the things of the Law, these, not having the Law, are a law to themselves, in that they show the work of the Law written in their hearts, their conscience bearing witness and their thoughts alternately accusing or else defending them, on the day when, according to my gospel, God will judge the secrets of men through Christ Jesus.

  If you do not believe that God exists, you will be judged accordingly, if you believe that God does exist and do not do what he has asked of you, you will be judged accordingly… but God does not want that… He who believes in the Son has eternal life; but he who does not obey the Son will not see life, but the wrath of God abides on him… a consequence.

For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men who suppress the truth in unrighteousness, because that which is known about God is evident within them; for God made it evident to them. For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes, His eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly seen, being understood through what has been made, so that they are without excuse. For even though they knew God, they did not honor Him as God or give thanks, but they became futile in their speculations, and their foolish heart was darkened. Professing to be wise, they became fools, and exchanged the glory of the incorruptible God for an image in the form of corruptible man and of birds and four-footed animals and crawling creatures.

  But because of your stubbornness and unrepentant heart you are storing up wrath for yourself in the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God, who WILL RENDER TO EACH PERSON ACCORDING TO HIS DEEDS
