It’s quite simple, we need more independents or those who do not listen to anything but the nightly news. We can’t win without those votes.

  • Screw ‘them’… We know better.

  • What exactly is Ron Paul’s plan for the debt if he were to abolish the reserve?

  • @JIM S
Cuba has run out of toilet paper, literally. Castro himself claims the Economic model Cuba is under is not sustainable. We H-A-D control over Egypt becoming an Islamist state but your boy Barry Soetoro.blblb.. Obama screwed that up.
“For a few hundred dollars most cars can be modified to run on natural gas.” What company does this exactly? Paranoid, we need to be with people like you on the inside and Ahmadinejad on the outside.

  • I‘ve heard of bits of pieces on Hannity’s radio show. Has he made any speeches lately?

He was only there from January 2001 through June 2003. There was a small recession after 9/11 and there was the Bush tax cuts which he had to contend with. Those first two years were the best of the 8 in that department. He did better in Indiana.

  • I believe he was aiming to gather support among those who don’t listen to them.

Let me start off by saying I agree with you on many levels but I need to question your stance, including my own which I’m teetering on.
Isolationism let Hitler carve up Europe with Russia before we made efforts to supply Britain. Isolationism let Italy run all over North Africa before we had to act. Isolationism would have let 100,000s of thousands if not millions of Afghans be slaughtered if we had not supplied the Mujahideen. Isolationism thereafter set the Taliban and Al-Queda in motion after we left. Isolationism allowed the Shah of Iran to be taken over by the Ayatollahs who are anti-US. Isolationism allows those who do not have our best interests at heart to remain in power or progress in territorial influence and geopolitical strategies that undermine our republic.
You are right about GWB but we needed congress to approve the Iraq war and I believe we would not be able to bring troops out of Saudi Arabia until removing Sadaam. Let’s not forget that at least 40 countries believed the intelligence regarding WMD. I can’t help but noting the $25,000 gifts by Sadaam to the families of suicide bombers in Palestine. Al-Queda was initially ticked at the US when we were chosen in the first Gulf War by Saudi Arabia to stop Iraq at the Kuwait border and drive them back. Then we did not remove troops from Saudi Arabia, the holy land. This inspired more hate towards the US and the only we could put our Oil masters at ease by leaving is removing Sadaam.
As I mentioned in the beginning we agree on many things. GWB was not a conservative. The war, although expensive, was not the major component in raising the debt and you will notice the exponential increase when Democrats held the purse after the 2006 elections.
There is a lot of time that needs to pass by before the results of the Iraq war are felt. There are now legitimate elections and dare I say an ally in Iraq. GWB whacked that in with a hammer, like it or not. Obama did the Jimmy Carter move regarding Egypt in that he withdrew support for Mulbarak who banished the Muslim Brotherhood as a political party and maintained relative peace with Israel. All indications of sentiments on the ground suggested that Iran would become a hard Islamic dictatorship or the Hamaas wouldn’t be voted to power in Palestine. We played the isolationist role on those occasions and how has that helped us? History is repeating itself but this time around we have twitter and youth with tatoos/baseball hats at the helm.. I’m a bit skeptical but not one person alive can say how this will play out. I just hope our Isolationism doesn’t bite us in the ass again.
