  • OK for those who don’t know Zuckerburg takes up personal challenges every year. This year he chose to personally kill/slaughter all of his own food. Kudos to him for doing his own thing and sticking to it.

  • People wonder what is wrong with this country and I believe you sum it up nicely. All I can really say is that you are an idiot…Really, no comparisons or anything your just an idiot. The next time I see someone who is a total @sshat I will be able to put it into a context that at least they aren’t as bad as you. For one, why would you have a dog that would do that? I mean, chances are if it does that to a cat it will turn on you eventually. Two, have you ever stopped to consider that maybe those cats are another person’s pet? I’ll tell you right now, if your dog ever attacked my cat I would personally rip it’s mouth off, come find you and then shove that head straight up your 5 day old underwear.

  • To Kevin, I believe most people know that Islam isn’t all sunshine and lollypops as the media would have us believe.
And to Jack…seriously, go post your Perry theories, thoughts and links on a story that actually has to do with Perry…

  • @APBT55…There are places and times when the government does have a role in protecting it’s citizens. While I am all for less government intrusion there is a time and a place to actually protect the worker. By your argument I could also point out that any labor laws that tell a company what they can and cannot do could be construed as too much intervention…again, taking your argument to it’s logical conclusion. I view this as a safety measure as much as anything. Do you really want to be at work and have the woman sitting next to you go into labor because she is denied UNPAID leave and needs to save up any sick/vacation time for when she is actually giving birth, (which I am told is quite painful), and the few days after that to recover all so she doesn’t get fired? As it stands many businesses are careful when promoting women who are dedicated career women to prevent putting them into a pinch…that being said I would say it is a major intrusion if the government steps in and tells the business it must promote the woman who chooses to be the ‘family’ woman and take the extra time with her children. After all, there is give and take with all things in life…many people,(men and women), take themselves out of contention for promotion and higher pay and longer hours for the extra time to spend with family…It’s all a question of where you want to sacrifice at. What we are willing to sacrifice helps define who we are as a person.

  • To JTC…..thank you. I’m sorry that you lost your mother at a young age. I am also sorry that you are unable to step up and face your own demons and instead blame God for whatever happened to your mother. It goes without saying that everyone who posts on here, reads this, or just sits down at a computer has gone through some incredibly dark times.
I know that I have and nothing comes from blaming God for not giving you a perfect life free of struggle and pain. None of us get a life like that. Do I blame God for this? Nope. I blame myself and the rest of us. We don’t often live up to our potential and in cases like this one some people live up only to the potential to be prideful and selfish hell-spawn. Worse, some of us live up to being nothing more than spectators to atrocity who use excuse after excuse to validate to ourselves we aren’t bad people…just people who made a simple mistake.
I sincerely wish I was able to personally wring the necks of every person involved from this neighborhood. I also sincerely wish that I could call on God for one spectacular lightening show for these same people. Lacking that, I pray that every moment of every day of the rest of their lives is spent with a knowledge of what their lack of action led to. I also hope their nights are spent reliving this young girl’s life.
In closing I would just like to say I will pray for you and them…even if you don’t want me to.

  • For those who say the tag was missed you really need to learn how to watch for more than just depth perception. IF you watch the runner’s pant legs you can see them move in the exact same way they would have had the catcher tagged him. After watching the clips, reading the posts and thinking that maybe I missed something I went back and rewatched them paying attention to that one specific aspect that would confirm it for me. For those who don’t think that there should be instant replay I say go to a rule where reviews are carried out from an upstairs umpire…after all, I don’t think any of us want another missed perfect game like last season.

  • For everyone who calls this Jury idiots, lefties, etc etc then you need to understand how the justice system we have works. The prosecution had nothing to tie her to the death…point-blank-period. We are a system where you are innocent until proven guilty. Therefore, if the prosecution didn’t prove anything and she is presumed innocent then the jury has no choice but to throw out a not guilty verdict. On a side note, for those who want her to be found guilty anyways because you just ‘know’ she did it then just remember that when the jack-booted thugs come knocking on your door not to complain…after all, they just know your guilty of something.

  • I have to say I am disgusted with what I have read so far. It’s bad enough that she had to go through this but for people to say she was evil really pushes me to extremes of anger. I work in the health care field and I have been there when someone has made a major mistake that led to multiple firings. It crushes a good nurse to know that a mistake on their part led to the death of a patient. All I can really say is that I am disgusted at the callousness of people on here saying she couldn’t possibly love children and the mentality some of you are putting forth…you should be ashamed of yourself.

  • It may be due to the darkness of the picture but it kind of looks like a green screen to me. That being said, it‘s entirely possible it isn’t and even if it is are there any laws regarding using a green screen to make it look as though he is inside of the white house by using an actual picture of what I am guessing to be a highly restricted area of the white house? Let me reiterate one point, I am not saying that it wasn‘t shot inside of the white house because I wouldn’t put it past this joke of a politician.

  • I agree with people who are pointing out that people from outside of Indiana telling people from inside of Indiana what he is like. There are a few things I haven’t seen brought up on here yet. 1) Check out the deal he made on the Indiana Toll Road that he leased to an overseas company. This is amazing because he took something that lost money for the state every year and managed to get a private company to come in and lease it from us thus making us money for a change. 2) He has extensive foreign policy experience as he travels overseas to persuade them to invest in Indiana. This is how he has gotten our unemployment levels down. Not only that but the jobs he is bringing here are good paying technical jobs. And finally, for those who don’t think he has a spine, a few weeks ago when our democrats ran to Illinois as well, he pointed out that they had a job to do back here in Indiana instead of legislating from the Hot Tub. He doesn’t have a problem calling dems out on issues…he just doesn’t feel the need to rant and rave and have bumper sticker slogan speeches. If there was one thing that the media truly responded to at his CPAC speech it was simply that. He gives speeches the way Reagan did…he engages his audience with a calm demeanor and a good sense of humor.
