  What a bunch of crap… I’ve just come from a Blaze story where the comments mostly gripe about people on pot doing stupid, violent things.

  These people are the real story… addicted to LEGAL pain-killers, and violent to boot. Bet this wouldn’t have happened if they were smoking pot… they’d be sitting around the kitchen table with the munchies, commiserating and laughing about life.

  As long as there are people, there will be stress/pain to be relieved. Better a natural plant you can grow in your back yard than BIG PHARMA and ALCOHOL addictions, which are much more dangerous! And the prescriptions side effects… are you kidding me?

  LEGALIZE MARIJUANA, tax it, and use the money for free rehab for any who want it, for any addiction they have. It will create jobs, increase tax revenues, and lower crime rates, and that’s just for starters. Talk about win-win-win! Sheesh… it’s not rocket science here.

  I’m all for sweet, trusting, loving dogs being rescued, no matter where they come from. WE are responsible for the overpopulation problem… spay or neuter your pet!

  TOO MANY DOGS ARE EUTHANIZED in their first year. Mainly because people refuse to train them. This is a ridiculous excuse in the day and age of the internet and YouTube… there’s free dog training everywhere! My favorite is the Amazing Dog Training Man. You start the pup early. You’re consistent. You’re the mom, and you treat them as such. You reward with praise, love and maybe a very tiny bite of food, gradually weaning off. Punishment is a simple hiss or verbal ‘buzzer’ sound: aaaannnnh! Think Victoria Stillwell. Or consider clicker training (operant conditioning). You can start a puppy as young as 4 weeks! You just have to teach the poor animal what it needs to know. Yes, it takes love, patience and consistency, but you end up with a beautiful, loyal companion who will give its life for you, and be a welcome guest many more places than you would imagine. This is unconditional love, people. Companionship completely on your terms. … what’s that worth in this day & age?!

  If brucellosis is the big problem and has been eradicated everywhere in the US except Yellowstone, why don’t they focus on ending the disease by vaccinating the herds? Buffalo is GREAT eating, and many hunters would like a tag. Excess animals can be sold for new herds. Hunting tags could pay for the vaccines. Win, win, win situation for everyone.

  If we are to walk in His path, we are to speak with love and kindness. You can only be SAVED through the blood of Jesus Christ, and receive the Grace of Salvation by believing in Him. If you study the Bible, you can see that Jesus wasn’t real big on organized religion. I think God couldn‘t care less about our ’monuments’ to Him, and would prefer to see the money spent on His children. Salvation is a gift, the saving Grace of Christ Jesus, however, Faith without works is dead. The Bible also says as you do for the least among you, it’s like doing it for Jesus.

  So many of are hurting these days… spiritually, financially, physically…. be a blessing to others and do for them, and you can’t go wrong. Don’t judge. When you see a need, fill it. Yeah, you may end up giving a wino $20 that he’ll spend on liquor, but you can answer to God for what YOU did with the money… as he’ll have to answer for what HE did with it.

  Wells Fargo posts record profits… I can’t even figure out how they charge me for my checking account! Charges for excessive numbers of deposits or too much cash (are you kidding me???), writing more than just a few checks, anything to nickel and dime you to death. Being in a small town, this is our only bank. Closed my business account and went to a neighboring town with more banks, and got FREE checking. Moved my personal account, and got an INTEREST-BEARING checking account. Locally, I use CASH, so I guess the government will be looking at me as a possible “terrorist”…. after all, cash is suspect these days, right?

  Why aren’t people/businesses content to make a good living? It seems like everyone wants to be nothing but filthy rich… shallow, shallow goals. How pitiful.

  Small businesses grow jobs. I am a small business owner of 20+ years. Before Oblabla, I was prospering, had up to 12 employees. The paperwork was just overwhelming. Government regulation after regulation, and when you called with questions, you couldn’t get the same answer from anyone! When Obummer was elected, and with the looming Obamacare debacle, I sold off what I could, downsized, and eliminated ALL my employees, and modified my business. Still, the economy has taken its toll. The stock market took most of my life savings, with just ten years before retirement.

  We are regulating ourselves out of existence people, and our freedoms eroding by the day. Costs are spiraling out of control while the Fed just prints more money.

  Should we actually make it to November 2012 elections, VOTE THE BUMS OUT!!!!!

  MY RANT, PART 3. Sadly, as the mother of a ‘useful idiot,’ I can truly say that at least some of them are doing it in a true Christian spirit. My misguided son believes the wealth should be shared, wants to help others, and is only interested in fairness and justice. Unfortunately, is indoctrination is so severed he can‘t wrap his mind around the fact that there are EVIL PEOPLE out there who don’t share his Utopian Agenda. In a perfect world, I tell him, socialism would work. We’d all get along, help one another as good Christians and decent human beings. Instead, this is the REAL WORLD, where muslim terrorists indoctrinate little children to kill for them (who wants to be tolerant of that kind of Neanderthal behavior… strike that, the Neanderthals were more civilized), politicians dole out contracts to their friends like party favors, and we taxpayers are left holding the bag.
  WE HAVE THE BEST SYSTEM IN THE WORLD, IF WE’LL JUST KICK THE BUMS OUT. The US government was the biggest social experiment in history. Never before had a government been established that trusted its people to do the right thing. If we go, every other free country will fall like dominoes. We must remain vigilant, be prepared, and educate our friends and families as to the current state of affairs & the possible chaos to come.
