  • Paul Babeau, from what I’ve seen and read of him seems like a very good guy. After what was done to Herman Cain, in terms of unsubstantiated rumors about dalliances, it isn’t difficult to see the Left hit machine in full force. I hope he survives this smear.

  • Every state should be doing this every year! I only wonder when Eric Holder will swoop in to sue/stop Florida from ensuring electoral integrity.

  • Oh yeah, this will “help” his re-election effort…NOT.

  • Family Guy isn‘t and hasn’t been funny for years. How the hell it manages to stay on air defies reason. Everytime I hear the voice of Lois, that grating, East Coast stupid accent, I have to turn the channel!

  • CNN: Is the Tea Party ‘Over’?

The Washington Compost ran the article on the Tea Party being “over”. I actually think these people being lulled into complacency is a good thing. That way, they won‘t see us coming and won’t expect the political beat-down they’re about to receive which will make 2010 look like a walk in the park.

  • And if Obama is re-elected, are you prepared for M*****F****s to die? Better figure that out before it starts happening, and arm yourself. It doesn’t take a crystal ball to see that in a future where Obama is re-elected, you’ll see armed confrontations between Americans.

  • What is wrong with these idiots? If you don’t like McDonalds, guess what? YOU DON”T HAVE TO EAT THERE!

  • You have to laugh at the irony of the behavior of the young women who attend these events. They believe themselves independent, free and liberated to to anything, achieve anything and become anything. In reality they’re allowing themselves to be so abased, abused, degraded and objectified that the respect they’re due AS women is totally ignored. What a shame.

The men here need to be locked in a room for a week or two, and given the following novels to read so they can learn how the ideal man behaves: Pride and Prejudice, Don Quixote, Ivanoe and Les Miserables. Maybe the elimination of Western literature from Western Civilization has resulted in the creation of these base animals?

  • The date is not a holiday in the United States or much of Europe, including Italy or devoutly Catholic Poland, but is in many Latin American countries.

Christmas is a federal holiday in the United States and has been for decades.

  • We often refer to the concept of freedom of religion in this country, but the reality is that the Constitution speaks of freedom of exercise, not freedom of religion or freedom from religion which is not nor never was guaranteed in the U.S. Constitution. This freedom is meant to be expansive. That a university can discriminate and limit (without any legal process) a group‘s federal constitutional guarantee to exercise it’s faith is anathema to the constitutional principle and grounds for a big, fat, and very, very expensive (for Vandy) lawsuit. Guess what? The groups will win this one.

I‘d also like to know where in God’s name are the Catholic bishops defending these students? The silence is defeaning! It’s time for Catholics to acknowledge we have NO leadership in this country. What we have is a bunch of self-promoting (are you listening Dolan?) self-centered publicity hounds.
