  • There are. Unfortunately every election for the last decade has had continued increase in voter fraud which is often reported but never investigated. To date I have never heard of prosecutions against those who doctored votes or who manipulated voting machines to have a starting tally of thousands for a nominee before any votes had been cast.

The vote is not what we must concentrate on. It is holding every leader accountable for their actions and giving them no room to play games with our future.

S.E. has my sympathies. Like all women, she faces constant attacks for speaking with conviction for her beliefs. When an argument cannot be made to prove her wrong they resort to these dispicable actions, demeaning her and all other women in the process. I commend her for her strength through such adversity.

  • This is a pointless debate. The time to challenge a candidate was before he gained the most powerful position in the world.

Give me a week with all the resources I ask for and I’ll give you verifyable proof that you were born in whatever country you can name, including computer and hospital records. Now put someone in the Presidency with the most corrupt and manipulative administration in history. Do you really think if he wasn’t born in the U.S. that he couldn’t change his birth records after years in office?

Sorry, but this argument died when they got Hillary to shut up back in ‘07.

  • I can‘t believe that didn’t occur to me! I’ve seen similar effects in the past and took note of the great shadow effects from other sunsets, but with the eclipse, I just kept trying to capture the direct visuals. Hopefully, others managed to capture the shadows out there.

Otherwise, I suppose I’ll have to make a mental note for the next eclipse… in just over a decade.

  • Neat concept and interesting to see. However… When I recall being in college and starting to work, the smaller the place, the better. Cost was an issue at all times and I cut back every chance I had. As you get older, the value of owning an actual house becomes evident. You can not only afford a larger place, but you appreciate it more.

For college students and many who are struggling, living with less is what being on a budget requires.
If this was being pushed as the “best” way for everyone to live, I doubt anyone would praise anything being presented.

  • Another celestial event? That coupled with the super moon and the coming galactic alignment makes me think that there are big things happening all around us this year and most of us might just miss the events without batting an eye, despite the once in a lifetime significance. (Or, like the alignment, once in 25,800 years.)

  • If you can‘t afford college just don’t go! Your degree is fairly worthless at this point, so why are you griping about paying for wasting your youth in these institutions? Stop learning from socialists and communists when you are supposed to be learning how to improve your lives after school is behind you.

College was once a place where we learned about critical thinking and making something of yourself. There was a time when debate classes taught us to discuss both sides of an issue by studying each argument extensively in preparation. Now it’s little more than institutionalized dependency training. None of these students are willing to take responsibility for their actions and can barely argue for their own side, much less glancing at the opposite point of view.

I weep for the future if these graduating sheep manage to land positions of authority.

  • May the family find peace in the memory of all the good he did throughout his life. Be well.

  • Blind hatred by a person who has clear mental instability. How is it that words like this are tolerated, but when someone uses a phrase like “***** in the armor” the media goes into a frenzy and politicians talk about limiting free speech?

It feels more and more like the inmates have taken over the asylum…then moved on to politics.

  • Nah. Technology has never been a problem. It’s how people act around it. Cell phones are a great resource when used properly. Back before the computer generation there were still people who got into car accidents because they were reading the paper, a magazine, or scribbling notes while driving. There’s no difference other than the tech. People are the ones in need of advancement.

It seems that too many are just getting more and more irresponsible. I don’t blame a cell phone or VR glasses for an accident. I blame the inattentive user who doesn’t realize how to focus their attention to the task at hand.

  • Yes, it was King. Hit by a van. Most people would have taken such a brush with death as a wake up call to re-evaluate their lives. Not King. He went whole hog into bashing America and embracing Communism.

BTW – Koontz wasn’t hit by a car, his dog passed away.
