  listen I like Bill O’Reilly and Glenn Beck watch them everyday, but research paper and medical journals, all say marijuana is not neearly as dangerous as tobacco, nor as addictive. For instance my mom still can’t quit cigarettes, and she has quit like 3 times, yet I smoked marijuana for 3 years, and I quit as of July 16, because I want to join the military, do I think about doing it again, sure yes, have I actually smoked it, no, because I am not one of the small minority of people who have a mental addiction which is merely what people addicted to marijuana, gambling, alcohol, or over-eating have, its not like tobacco or other drugs that creates physical dependance.

  my mom and dad are divorced, I am in college, my dad was nice enough to pay for insurance until recently, as she has to go in for multiple surgeries for neck and back, and she is going in for another neck one in the coming weeks. Now my dad can’t afford it so he had to take my moms medical coverage off, in order to still pay for my medicine and stuff for my asthma.

  While I know marijuana being illegal is wrong as do you know that if weed was legalized the taxes alone would make $778.2+ billion, but instead we spend $14.1 billion a year to prevent its use, at a rate of $26,809 a minute, with 1 person arrested every 38 seconds. only 594,911 people arrested for violent crimes in 2008 but 847,864 marijuana related arrests.
  But I don’t agree with it being a modern “Jim Crow” law as it also affects white people as well

  I’m a libertarian and sure I support personal freedoms and maximum freedoms, and minimum government… However I do believe that school should focus on education rather than gay rights and such.
