    In reply to Kimberli.

I agree….who cares…really! America needs to get over their obsession with Ms. Winfrey. Especially when it comes to her physco babble about religion. She without a doubt preaches a false doctrine.

  • I de-friended a very good friend on facebook this week, because of her rants against Palin. This friend lived in Alaska and always had something terrible to say about Gov. Palin. High school gossip stuff. Things about her family. The final straw was when she accused Palin of the shootings. I mean really…

We have to take a stand with our liberal friends!

  • The bible also talks about “church organization”, if you want to call it that. The church is to have elders and deacons and there are requirements to be an elder or deacon. (being drunk with much wine is not one of them.) As much as some don’t like organized religion, God is a God of order and He told us how to “organize” the church. Having a Pope is NOT in the bible. Sorry catholics. And we know that the first church met on the first day of the week to take communion (to remember what Jesus did for us, not just a few times a year but EVERY first day of the week), to teach and to fellowship. How can you stay strong if you’re not fellowshipping with a body of believers?

It is up to us to find the church that is spoken about in the bible. I encourage all to read it and to seek the church that Jesus built. Take all of the bad thoughts you have about church out of your minds and commit to find the church of truth. If we truely love God, we will do it His way, not our own way.

The bible tells us that there are many “good” people out there, but if we‘re not doing it God’s way the goodness they do does not matter in the end. Jesus will tell many on that day that “He knew them not.” Only those that worship in truth and in spirit will inherit the kingdom.
    Find the truth.

  • About the woman at the well in the book of John, Jesus also said “go and sin no more.” So hopefully these folks have had that conversation. Being in a drunken state is a SIN. And I’m wondering about being baptized. Are these folks doing so? It’s very clear that to be forgiven of sins being baptized is required. I encourage all to read the book of Acts, the history of the first church. The original word “ to baptize” in Greek means to submerge, to dip. It’s a well know fact that all the early churches practiced this form of baptisim. Sprinkling was brought in around the second century. Paul warned us that the wolves were at the door and that the church would experience a falling away from the truth. It’s not enough to say that we believe in Jesus and then not do what is commanded. Baptisim is commanded.

Matt. 28:19 “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,” 20. teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” This is Jesus speaking. It’s a simple truth that so many miss.

  • I love this guy! I’m hoping Gov. elect John Kasich can do the same here in Ohio!

  • What a great story! Hang in there Gary, our thoughts and prayers are with you!

My husband had to close his car lot becasue of the economy. It has always been his dream to have his own business. But we are not quiting! We are not giving up. We are just thrilled that he had an opportunity to go for it. He learned a great deal from the experience and can’t wait to try it again. In the mean time he has a job and we are so thankful for that!

  • Amen to that! When will they get it?!
