  Ok…so what no one seems to be saying here is–it doesn’t really look like a game of hide and seek. The kid starts toddling–is grabbed–and quickly stuffed into the machine with the door shut. Panic sets in immediately when they realize they can’t get him out…but it doesn’t look like it was hide and seek–just sort of an instant, albeit dumb decision, to put him in there. Like he just didn’t want to chase the kid around anymore–tired of babysitting…I don’t know. That’s just my perspective.

  yeah…not exactly. please don’t paint with such a broad brush…might end up getting a little on yourself there! not all Chicagoans are the same–far more Conservatives than you would think…and please let me know–who was our other option? Rahm basically ran unopposed. For all intents and purposes. It was him or one of Daley’s old stooges–unfortunate, but that’s the truth. No good candidates were able to make it into the race–if there were any at the beginning–they were quickly shut down or forced out…it’s the Chicago Way. As voters here–we get very little say. That being said–I did not vote for Rahm.

  You know…the truth is–Rahm was pretty much forced down our throats. There were no good Conservatives coming forward to run–and I don’t know that they could have. There was one guy early on who might have been good–but he got forced out of the race somehow…let’s put it this way–I remember hearing about him–and within a week or two–he was no more…for whatever reason. Probably didn’t want his personal life destroyed. Or simply didn’t have the money to put up a fight against Rahm. Sadly, this was the truth. I remember talking to quite a few Conservative friends–we were all hoping for a good candidate–particularly pro-life…but none were to be had…

  I’ve lived in Chicago since 2005…before that I was in the suburbs…have to say–the city has really been changing in the past year or so. I’m seriously considering getting out once my lease is up…there ARE some really wonderful and great people in this city–and far more conservatives than most people realize–but there is a lot of fear and suppression because it is such a union run town…tragic really. Such a beautiful city. I’ve been saying a LOT of prayers for friends who have to work downtown in this mess. I’ve been staying away from the city center as much as possible…but unfortunately have to venture forth soon! Please pray for all the good people of this city…

  What is WRONG with all you haters?! Sheesh! And please…whether or not she‘s personally your ’type’–there is NOTHING wrong with her…I think the photos are a tad awkward–but not everyone is super photogenic–who cares! I’m always happy to see people get married–and these two have been together for quite awhile–GOOD FOR THEM!!!

  p.s. Why all the hateful comments about her looks? Why do men have to judge women in such an ugly fashion?? The same guys making smart comments about her appearance–probably think that just because he’s rich–he should be able to ‘get any girl’ he wants…SOOOO not true! Any woman of value and integrity will NOT marry for money. Money is simply a bonus if it’s there…money comes and goes–only Love remains. Only Love never fails.

  @We Are Americans…THANK YOU! As a conservative woman, no, as a woman, no wait–just as a decent human BEING–I Thank You. And all the others on here who have made a plea for decency and respect and making arguments and statements in a way that is not full of personal hate and vitriol…I too have been desperately saddened by the abusive and vile language spewed in so many of the comments on the Blaze. I like this site–but it has made me not want to come on here at all. The worst is how self-righteous it all is. If you want to truly do the right thing and fight for what is good and right and decent and free in this country–you MUST be better than the Left. You CANNOT give in to stooping to their level. LET them be the name callers and the character assassins. YOU be honest, good, and true. YOU be Honorable.

  The Lord honors those who HONOR Him.

  There was NOTHING honorable about Rush (or Beck and co. on this one). I wasn’t surprised at Rush–though saddened. But Beck? I have always respected him because he seems to truly get the love and respect thing…but he was dead wrong on this one.

  I am no fan of racism. But I am willing to bet these girls have grown up like I was–under conditions of brutal reverse racism. Look at the stats on their school population. I know when I was in school–the teachers and principle did NOTHING when I was getting my butt kicked. For years. Finally, I had enough one day and took the biggest girl in the ‘gang’ down with one hit. Of course, guess who got punished? Me. I do not think it is right (or safe) to retaliate in the way that they did. Posting a ‘racist rant’ on youtube is NOT the way to go. But I get where they are coming from. I’ve been there–and though I chose a different path–I have since made it my business to stay as far away from that mess as I can. I take people on an individual basis–for sure. But when I see a crew of black chicks or dudes giving me looks or saying the crap they spew–umm…yeah. I don’t think twice about getting on the other side of the street.

  You should be ashamed of yourself. Making fun of another’s misfortune and debilitating condition. At least there is a reason for her behavior beyond her ability to control. Yours? There is no excuse for. That goes for all the posts on here by callous and cold-hearted fools. Do you not read what you write before you post it? Do you feel no shame? No accountability for your utter lack of empathy? You are like court jesters at the end of the world–those with heart–those with honor–pick up a weapon and fight evil–they don’t join in it.
