  • Been that way for years. GWB kept spending for the war on terror off the books. Now Obama wants to claim it as revenue for health care. It’s all phony accounting.

With over 100 trillion in unfunded liabilities the District of Criminals knows they will never be able to correct it. So they have chosen to party like a college frat house till the beer runs out and the hell with the rest of us.

When TEOTWAWKI and TSHTF, they will run to their underground bunkers to save their sorry asses. Just hope some patriots can catch them before they run down their rat holes.

  • So it’s not “crazy and exaggerated” to murder unborn children but it is “crazy and exaggerated” to ask me to pay for?
This is only an issue because they know Obama’s first term is a failure so now all the emotional special interest issues will float out of the Axelrod orifice to try and keep the female voter.
I wish one balsy reporter would ask Michelle when she had her first abortion.

  • The city is PO‘d because he didn’t have a building permit and seized his property for his “own protection” and the “safety” of his neighbors.

“Danny Perez, with the East Town Lake Citizens Neighborhood Association, says fencing the area off is not enough to protect neighbors.” Oh really Danny? You have some reason to trespass on the property? I would imagine 264 yards of concrete pretty much took care of your safety concern.

As for the owner, he was reckless and certainly put himself and possibly others in danger by excavating a multi-level underground facility without what appears to be properly engineered support. But, that’s his choice if he wants to risk his own life. Now he’s out $90k and the city owns a large paper weight.

  • First off, if the NFL wants a team in MN then let the NFL come up with the other half billion.
Research has proven over and over that these professional team monuments do not come close to break even while putting a strain on states and local governments to increase taxes to make the payments on bonds.
And finally, how do the other Minnesota citizens feel about subsidizing the leisure of 73,000 people for 9 Sundays a year for half a billion? If the fans want a new stadium let them pony up the $7k per person to pay for it over 10 years but don’t hold the rest of MN hostage.

  • Hey Ben STFU! Born in 1973, what would he know about Jim Crow laws? His education was free at Columbia and Oxford. Then he took a first class education and became a race pimp.

Why not encourage your followers to get off their lazy asses and go get a friggin ID! States that have passed these laws have made it easy to get one. Bet they can get to the Social Security office to file for disability but wouldn’t they have to have an ID? Nope, just an affirmation.

  • Seriously, would this POS believe this if he had not already amassed enough cash to retire comfortably?
If he believes this BS then he should pay the additional 15-20% to the U.S. Treasury now retroactively for “fariness”. Bubba Clinton managed to get a retroactive tax hike enacted so let them go after all this cash back 20 years and see if King changes his tune.

  • The victim or his family should file a civil rights suit against the perps if they are ever found. Ah, but then the courts will throw it out for lack of standing. But when you look at it from the Marxist in Chief, that’s fairness.

  • No our government has gone completely Marxist. The U.S. and Russia have never participated in joint operations of a military nature that I’m aware of. Russia objects to any military operation the U.S. engages in so why the joint training op other than once again providing our adversaries with intel to use against us some day.

  • We don‘t know if Obummer had student loans because he won’t release his records. From some accounts a Marxist paid for his college expenses especially Harvard. But what’s one more lie. I thought Bill Clinton was the supreme BS’er but this guy makes Bubba look like an amateur.

  • Controversial ‘Buffett Rule’ Derailed in the Senate

    April 17, 2012 at 10:47am

    In reply to s.n..

This is a circus stunt using class envy. The tax will raise 0.1% of the $1.5 trillion Obama deficit. The class warfare soldiers don’t understand that money is fungible. If the government raises a rate then those with the assets will move them into another pot with lower tax rate. They also don’t understand that those affected by the Buffet rule invest in markets, venture capital for entrepreneurs, and businesses that need capital. If the government takes an extra 15, 20, 30 percent then that money is lost forever from the private market. Sure it gets spent on government programs but never in areas that produce growth and usually line the pockets of cronies and campaign chests or in the case of the GSA one helluva party.
