  • I never knew General Patton. But, my hunch is that he would be laughing his–well, you know what–off about this affair. And I also imagine he would take great offense towards people who would be so quick to condemn our military for such conduct.

  • You have absolutely no idea what went on in WW2 if you think ******* on a bunch of punks such as those represent anything worse than many of the actions carried out by all sides in WW2. Absolutely no idea!!

General Sherman said it best “War is hell”

In Gods name lets not let a bunch of publicity seeking politicans ruin the lives of four good men. As has been stated no one can know the hell of battle, I am certain, until you have been immerced in it. No, I have not been in battle.

There should be absolutely NO comments of any ilk entered into either of these mens records. There should be punishment of any degree given them.

Likewise, I suppose, there should be no punishment assigned the photographer. But it would please me mightly to read he had gotten the **** kicked out of him on several occassions.

  • Allen West would have my vote for anything for which he cared to run.
I just wish he cared to run. We sorely need people such as he in leadership rolls in our government rather than the various assorted namby-pambys we currently support in these positions.

I would hope that each of us who feel this to be a stupid act of political correctness would write or call whatever creature you may have representing you informing them that you are against this punshiment. for these military lads.

  • My thoughts matter but little to anyone but me, I suppose, but I find many of the comments concerning Meghan McCain very depressing. First off I would disagree with her on many points no doubt. But having stated that the one picture of her I have seen (as shown above) would indicate that she is a very lovely young lady–exceptionally pretty. She is not fat and does not appear to have horns.

Secondly off–she did not attain her present position by being “dumber that a box of hammers” as I believe one respondee stated. She attained her position–again, my opinion–by being bright, articulate, and extremely presentable. The fact that her father was a Presidential candidate no doubt did help–but I was once guilty of he same artifice. My parents traded at a grocery store where a stock boy was to be hired. I am fairly certain that my Father spoke to the owner on my behalf–and I got the job. And a good job it was at the time-1946–paid 25 cents an hour. But where or nor I was the best person for the job I will never know–but it did work out well for all concerned.

And thirdly–the fact that I would disagree with her position(s) means only that we base our opinions based on a different set of beliefs, background and environment among other things. We are each very much entitled to own own beliefs and, hopefully, the clearer thinker will win for the good of the country in the long run. At least thats the way I feel it should work. PC often prostitutes this I

  • Very well stated!!

  • Lets all drink ethanol—thats what the government is paying 6 billon dollars a year to turn our corn (healthy food) into–and its making our motors sick!

  • If you do not support Perry’s contention that illegals should have tution etc. paid it may be that you have no heart: but I submit that if you do support it you have no brain.

  • You took the words right out of my mouth–or something like that!!

  • I agree it bears little resemblance to MLK. I would not recognize it as a statue of MLK.

  • Barring anything untoward happening I will be voting for Mr. Cain for President for two good reasons: he is NOT a politician and he has proven himself in the world of business. America is in one hell of a mess right now and it is going to get much worse before it improves to any degree. The soul reason for this sorry state of affairs is that it has been managed by an extremely sorry group of career politicians who, for the most part, start as very low hanging fruit on the tree so-to-speak.

That’s my opinion. If you couple that with a couple bucks it will buy you a cup of coffee in most cafes in the midwest!
