Federal Housing Administration May Need A Bailout
November 15, 2011 at 11:35am
The market has to reset. Dismantle FHA, Fannie, and Freddie. It will not be easy for the citizens. Many will need to rent instead of buy. Many construction jobs will be lost. But we cannot continue to prop up housing prices with government programs. Politically, it would be less popular than reforming Social Security and Medicare, but it is the right thing to do.

Bizarre Video Montage of Perry Speech Has Critics Wondering: Was He Drunk?
October 31, 2011 at 10:21am
Yep. He’s drunk. How can we take him seriously now? Showing up drunk to a speech is not only disrespectful, but show a lack of personal discipline. Although Romney is my first choice, I would have been happy with Cain, Bachman, Santorum, or Gingrich.
Add Perry to my list of “Heck Nos”:
Paul
Perry
Huntsman
That other guy from NM
Romney Reverses Course: Now Says ‘We Don’t Know What‘s Causing Climate Change’
October 28, 2011 at 4:24pm
Mitt is correct. Never did Mitt quantify man’s contribution to Global Climate change. Saying, “I believe the world is getting warmer, and I believe that humans have contributed to that.” is not the same as saying that man is solely to blame. Those who already hate Romney are just parsing his words to come up with another ostensible flip flop.
Romney a Rockefeller Republican? Newt Thinks So
October 16, 2011 at 4:33pm
Romney is the only one who can beat Obama and the most practical conservative out there. The rest are ideologues. I could vote for any of the current crew except Paul or Huntsman; even them I would take over Obama however.
The reason I prefer Romney over all the others is his ability to bring together the greatest minds to conquer tough problems. In 4 years in MA he overcame a budget deficit and created a surplus without raising taxes. (Raising fees for government services to be closer to the cost of providing them is not a tax increase.)
Romney is staying on script right now because soundbites are so easily spun by the media and other candidates that he needs to be careful. I have read his book and his policies are what we need right now.
