  • I think this is a good thing. I am married to a retired Military man and he thinks its good also. They have men and women in different barracks and SHOWERS for a reason. I think yall are forgetting about basic tranining!! So then if this is passed why not have everyone together who cares! Men, women, gays, lesibans all together in the same shower why not.

  • I have 2 things to talk about: First my daughter maybe only be 5 years old but, she thick, big boned. She’s not fat but now I wonder if the Doctor would say she is. Ya’ll are right about the eating disorders and I think the effects of that are just as bad. Also on the other hand my 22 month old daughter is on the small side 21lbs. So what are they going to call child serivces on me because she is the weight of a 1 year old??

Second the Military had standards like this and my Exhusband was so close to getting kicked out because of things like the BMI he was 6′2″ at 245lbs. His max for the Air Force was 224lbs. Which after he did everything to lose weight and it didn’t help, running all the time. He was up there running with the 20year olds that are alot skinnier than he on the 1.5mile run they time you for. He was over by weight for their standards.
