  • I’m going to be honest here, that even as an Atheist myself, this kind of behavior ****** me off. I have a right to believe what I want (or not believe, I suppose), but so does everyone else. If someone wants to put up a nativity scene that’s been there every year for more than half a century, fine by me. Who the Hell am I to say they can’t display their faith in such a manner? It’s not offensive at all. What I do find offensive is a bunch of Atheists behaving like children and being offended by anything that has to do with religion, which in turn makes me look bad. People hear I’m an Atheist and go, “Oh, you must hate Christmas!” … No. No, I don’t.

Grow up. Get over yourselves. Admit that people don’t believe the same way you do. If you don’t like it, DON’T LOOK AT IT. Take a different fricking route. Who are YOU to be shoving YOUR beliefs into someone else’s face? Talk about hypocrisy… Whine about a nativity scene, and then do the very thing you’re complaining about. Yeah, that helps your argument. Geniuses. And you only whine around the holidays. At least be consistent.

Let me just assure readers right now, not all Atheists are like this. As stated above, I detest this kind of obstructive behavior when it comes to religion. Live and let live I say, as long as nobody is being physically harmed in the process.
