  • That was a funny interview, but it shouldn’t have even gotten major media attention, in my opinion.

  • I agree with Glen on this one. Boy, talk about unnecessary and inflammatory on the part of the minister. But I still wonder how this small book burning became such an international story.

It should have been a minor blip.

  • Congrats to Joe Miller. I read that after 9,000 absentee ballots were counted, Lisa had only picked up 38 votes. That is a firm loss. I was glad to see Joe Miller speak out about the party lawyers involving themselves in the primary count, too. That wasn’t smart on their part.

I remain convinced that part of Lisa’s problem was that she listened entirely too much to chatter from DC and media and jumped on the bandwagon to bash Palin. It was unnecessary, and that probably left a sour taste in many voter’s minds. Palins favorability ratings fell, yes, after her resignation…but they didn’t tank totally. That meant Lisa offended a lot of people. They were gratuitous remarks that had no benefit.

Commonsense tells me that’s not a smart senator. Why would you risk losing votes just to satisfy some blood feud from the past? Palin was always very polite about her.

Lisa could learn a bit about politics.

  • I simply can’t relate to her perspective. We end a war, and she expects Obama to give some awful speech about how pointless the war was? How would that be viewed as anything but completely inappropriate and demeaning to troops?

I simply don’t know how some of these people get their jobs.

Good luck on the new site. It’s needed.
