  Hamas Vs. Fatah: The Struggle for Palestine, an excellent new offering from NRO contributor Jonathan Schanzer. In the book Schanzer notes that Haj Amin al-Husseini, mufti of Jerusalem from 1921-1948 and the first prominent leader of the Palestinian nationalist movement, established ties with SS head Heinrich Himmler during World War II and even helped create the Handjar SS battalion raised among Bosnian Muslims in the Balkans that fought for the Third Reich.

  Know your history……
  Palestinians sided with nazi Germany in the 40′s, were trained by the SS to exterminate any Jews
  that made it out of Germany. Also, don’t forget the unprovoked war 1967, where the goal was to wipe out Israel, bad guys lost (Palestinians were in on that too).
  So, they sided with evil and corruption twice and lost but are now cast as the oppressed?
  How bass ackwards is that.
