  • Ron Paul: U.S. ‘Slipping Into a Fascist System’

    February 19, 2012 at 2:57pm

    In reply to amdoktor.

How do we stem the flow? Can You say Paul/Napalitano 2012!

Onward towards Liberty, let nothing stand in her path.

  • Just how the hell did this man win SC. Throw out the infidelity, throw out the FBI investigation, throw out that he broke his marital vows and you expect him to protect the Constitution by placing a hand on the bible. This says it all :

But there is nothing to see here, move along, dismiss it, do what the talking heads tell you to do.

  • @Anarcho Capitalist

Don’t give up the fight, the longer Dr. Paul is in this fight, the dirtier the other sides will get. I hope to see you back in the trenches.

    @Bill O’Reilly,

You are one arrogant pile of globalist lap dog aren’t you. It is a dark day when the news media will so blatantly try to influence the direction of an election. You get more honesty from the tabloids in the grocery stores, than any major media outlet out there. It’s funny though, Bill O’Reilly does talking point memos every night, isn’t Talking Point Memo the organization that put out a recent hit piece on Dr. Paul? I haven’t looked into that yet, but seems to me there is at least some trademark violations somewhere.

I really can’t wait for the day when the MSM is held accountable for their bull. It would be a gift to see Hannity & O’Reilly have to address Dr. Paul as President. Whatever happens the rEVOIution will not be stopped. The patriots are waking up the sleeping one by one. The MSM can skew the numbers all they want. Dr. Paul‘s’ support has them running scared. His support in Iowa will be amazing.

  • @MetalPatriot

Thank you for your two cents, I was responding to the following quoted text:

“It’s time for airlines to ban children. Get a station wagon and drive, all you folks with filthy, snotty, stinky little brats crying and complaining and running around.”

I am always happy to have a civilized debate, but if like the neanderthal above you are going to go off on kids being kids, then you will get a fight out of me. I have children ranging in ages from 6 to 1, most have flown around the world & back with me. They did not run around the plane, scream, or do anything other than what they were told. They know what is expected out of them, and listen to their mother.

I would never submit my children to the TSA pervert of the week, so since they started their new invasive searches I have quit flying all together.

I see your point that some parents don’t control their kids. The simple truth is life isn’t fun sometimes. If you are going to seal yourself in a tube with 80 or more other people for a long amount of time you know what your possibly getting into. You take the five hour headache and get on with it. If not and you are so much better than charter a private flight. I have caught far more colds from adults on planes, than encountered that bad of a child. In fact I can’t even think of an instance in which a kid has been that far out of control, & I have probably flown more than any five people on this board combined.

  • @KnightTemplar999

Why don’t you mind your own business, and go back to drinking that eastern star dew, or whatever you modern templars do. I would highly recommend not insulting someone elses family. Some might get a little bent out of shape at the utter cowardice of those with so little spine they take their anger out on children. The absolute pettiness of it is amazing.

    @Every other anti-child poster

I don’t know how anyone can have a problem with a child. I really don’t understand what happened to the honor of our species, it used to be women and children first. Now it’s screw everyone else I have to get mine. It is a sad commentary on modern day society. And this was during Christmas no less, when we are supposed to be celebrating the birth of another child a few thousand years ago.

  • @Markmyword

I will try to stick to comments on the substantive errors of your post, and I will try to leave the egregious grammatical errors out of this debate.

First off you said “Ron Paul & Obama have a lot in common.” Their similarities end with similarities of night & day. One is a Libertarian and the other a big government social marxist. One wants to restore the constitution, the other burn it.

You said “They both lie”. I know this to be true about Obama, but please show me one example of Dr. Paul lying? I haven’t seen one yet.

“They both hate Israel.” Paul does not hate Israel. He wants to be an adult and let Israel worry about Israel. As Americans in pretty bad times, we should be focused on the home front.

“They Both get a lot of young voters.” I actually don’t see this a negative for either. Getting the youth involved in politics is a good thing. Apathy is a fate worse than death.

“They both have a no experience” Um yeah, again true about Barry. However Dr. Paul has served twelve terms in Congress, graduated medical school, delivered more than four thousand babies, &
served 5 years in the military. What experience is it that he dos not have?

  • Betrayal is what we are sowing on this the first day of twenty twelve. The NDAA is passed and is a betrayal to every American, both current and yet to be born inalienable rights. And secondly, The great crusader Mr. Becks own news site, can’t even be bothered to put up a link. It’s more important that you look at some over the hill, unfunny comedian in her underwear. It’s pathetic. I wonder what we will reap by years end?

  • @Baddoggy

You said “You are right. I am sure Ron would cut the balls off the Federal Reserve,”

Baddoggy you are a bad dog. Lol. I concur wholeheartedly.

  • @Evil_Conservative,

You are right a vacuum will be created, & you are right that something will fill it. However, the world is in a constant state of flux, & like a earthquake the longer we hold it in one form, the more violent the resulting re-shifting will be when it inevitably occurs. Very soon, we will no longer have the money to maintain all of those bases & operations around the world. How many more QE’s will the world financial sectors accept before US treasuries are abandoned? When that happens that vacuum won’t mean anything to 90% of Americans. The end result is inevitable, short of someone here in the US inventing something revolutionary in the next 30 months or so. Aside from that we have a choice now to stem the flow, & to just get on with it. We can take the bad times now, or worse times in a few years. It’s up to all of us to say here is the line & we will not go any farther. I am going to insert a section of a Thomas Jefferson quote that is highly relevant:

“Honor, justice, and humanity, forbid us tamely to surrender that freedom which we received from our gallant ancestors, and which our innocent posterity have a right to receive from us. We cannot endure the infamy and guilt of resigning succeeding generations to that wretchedness which inevitably awaits them if we basely entail hereditary bondage on them.”

Our thoughts need to be on the future of our country, and what we will leave to the next generations. That is true Patriotism.

  • @1776freedomofspeech

My first point was to your firewall comment. It speaks for itself.

My second point referenced in regards to the quote from Thomas Paine’s “Thoughts on defensive war”. Was that we as a nation are not best served by dictating around the globe. This includes Iran in the what if scenario above. The war drums are pounding, and the anti-Iran propaganda is getting thicker. The military industrial complex and the citizens blood lust will lead us into a very dark and bad place. War should be a last resort option. Wouldn’t the rest of OPEC have something to say to Iran for hurting other member nations profits? There are plenty of other plausible, and less costly to American solutions on how to handle this what if.
